Kativa Straightening Without Iron With Technology NICTECH.

At-home no-iron straightening treatment. Free of formaldehyde and guanidine, thanks to the mechanism of its exclusive technology NICTECH (No-Iron hair Control Technology), it straightens hair fast and with a professional result, for about 4 weeks.

It is formula enriched with Keratin, leaving the hair visibly straight, smooth and looking natural.

Directions

1. Divide recently washed and shampooed, unconditioned, completely dry and untangled hair into 2 parts. Using the plastic gloves, apply the Straightening Mask (A) lock by lock to one part, leaving 1-2cm from the root. Distribute the mask evenly and continue with the other part until the hair is covered completely.

2. Leave the product on for 15 minutes. After, with a thin comb, only remove the excess mask to make the drying process easier.

3. Use a hairdryer at its highest temperature with a concentrator nozzle and a flat brush to dry the hair in a downward direction, lock by lock, and straighten until it is completely dry and straight. Important: A better drying session guarantees an optimal outcome.

4. Wash hair with the Post-Straightening SHampoo (B) 2 to 3 times, to remove the mask residue completely. Rinse with water and apply the Post-Straightening Conditioner (C). Leave it on for 3 minutes and rinse.

5. Dry hair naturally or with a hair dryer. Do not forget this product has a memory effect which is activated with the hairdryer, allowing a better straightening result.

USAGE ADVICE

1. This product may cause a variation of colour in colour-treated hair. It is recommended to do the straightening treatment prior to the next colour treatment.

2. In case you dye your hair after, remove all of the mask residue with the shampoo and do not use the conditioner. The colour treatment process can be affected if the hair is not properly and thoroughly washed in order to remove any straightening mask residue.

3. Do not apply the mask on the scalp.

After 2 babies my hair was a frizzy mess but i have done this treatment twice now and its has made it so smooth and manageable. Doesn't straighten at all but i wasn't aiming for that, i just wanted the frizz gone! Highly recommend!

I finally but the bullet and I am so glad. I have super short hair. I have ruined my hair with bleaching and colouring over the last year. About 3 months ago I got all my lifeless damaged hair cut off and went back to being brunette. No my hair is short, like a boys fresh cut. Even having it cut to that extreme, I am still left with some damage that I have been trying to restore with soooo many different types and brands of treatments. As well as being damaged, my hair is also naturally frizzy. I was having to wash and heat style it daily to keep the frizz tamed. It just looked dull and lifeless. I battled with fly aways and damaged brittle ends that stick up out of place. I thought this keratin treatment may help by at least reducing the frizz. It has done so much more. It has made my hair feel so smooth, my hair has shine, and best of all I don’t have split ends sticking up out of place. And because my hair is so short I will probably get about 10 applications out of one kit.

I have very curly thick hair and my aim wasn't to try and get it straight, I just wanted to soften the curl a bit and get rid off the frizz which it has. Once I put the solution on I just left it for 30 mins and then just blow-dried it without trying to smooth it out but just leave my natural curl shape. My curl is now much more manageable but I think if I didn't straighten it with the solution in as instructed, it still would've work well in smoothing it out. I have shoulder length hair I think I would get at least 2-3 applications out of this one kit. I definitely recommend this product and will be purchasing more of it!

I left the activator in for 20 mins and when blow drying it out just take small sections of hair and really work the hair with the hairdryer and brush. The smell of the activator did stay in my hair after the initial few days. But after a few washes and a color it has completely gone. I am purchasing this again!

A quick blow wave later and my hair was silky straight. Unreal, my hair is usually like wire and frizzy. Definitely will be repurchasing.

I’ve spent thousands over the years having my very tight ringlets professionally straightened. The product does not leave my hair completely straight but it does loosen the curls. I am so happy with the loose curls I’m left with after my hair air drys. Product says it’s lasts four weeks but I’m always happy with the results for around 6. Love it! Cannot be without it

The only super time consuming part is drying your hair, I found I couldn't get off the majority of the mask and had to dry my hair for atleast 60 minutes. I then flat ironed just to make sure its super straight. Washed, blow dried and as soon as I ran the straightener over my already straight hair, it turned even more straight! My hair is never like this when I straightened it alone. My hair feels incredible and it's sooo shiny now. If you're on the fence about Kativa - do it! No yucky smells (only when straightening so be careful if you do this).

I have naturally chin length 3A/3B curls with the bottom section being a lot straighter. They tend to be frizzy, hard to style and always looks messy. This product has transformed my hair into sleek, soft and straight hair with waves near the ends. It took about 3 hours to complete the whole process but is so worth it. I always air dry my hair so I'm really impressed with the results. I wake up now and don't need to do anything at all with my hair. I will definitely continue to use this. Note: Follow the instructions exactly as written. I use Garnier Fructis shampoo for normal hair to clarify my hair first. Always make sure you take extra time blow drying for the best results.

I have paid literally thousands of dollars on hair straightening and hair reconstruction products, treatments and services and this pack following instructions exactly has saved my hair! I have thin breaking greying waving frizzy hair but I used this, placed hair dye on my roots after drying the wax into each strand and after hair dye finished I used the shampoo & conditioner then just blowdryed my hair and I look younger, my hair is perfectly straight but shiny and healthy looking and colouring my roots after drying the wax stage resulted in the perfect natural dark root look with healthy straight frizz free model like hair! After applying solution to my hair I found there was solution left over (my hair goes down to my bra strap) so I used the remainder on my daughter who has weird cowlicks on her crown. This treatment worked an absolute dream! My hair has never been this smooth without a straightener and my daughters hair is kink free!! This is going to save us so much time getting ready in the morning!!

I bought this product on a whim thinking it couldn’t hurt to give it a go. We didn’t wash her hair first, but followed every other step & it turned out perfectly! I think it’s super important to dry the hair & heat seal, but she is very happy. It’s not dead straight, but her hair is so much more relaxed, and I made sure the crown was the area I concentrated on with drying etc. It’s so soft and silky now! 100% recommend.

I saw below a 1 star review saying they followed instructions to a T and it didn't work for them.. they said they washed their hair with the shampoo provided and didn't use conditioner before the treatment as per instructions.. HOWEVER the instructions clearly state to use a clarifying shampoo before treatment, the shampoo provided is for POST treatment!!!! No wonder it didn't work! I have used this treatment twice now and always get great results! If you try this product and follow the instructions correctly it will work!

Using this product, to blowdry and straighten my hair now takes less than 40 mins. My hair is now not only straight but more shiny and healthy looking. Prior to the treatment my hair was frizzy, even after using expensive treatments. Would highly recommend this product if you want your hair to look super straight, to save time and money.
