Kativa Straightening Without Iron With Technology NICTECH.

At-home no-iron straightening treatment. Free of formaldehyde and guanidine, thanks to the mechanism of its exclusive technology NICTECH (No-Iron hair Control Technology), it straightens hair fast and with a professional result, for about 4 weeks.

It is formula enriched with Keratin, leaving the hair visibly straight, smooth and looking natural.

Directions

1. Divide recently washed and shampooed, unconditioned, completely dry and untangled hair into 2 parts. Using the plastic gloves, apply the Straightening Mask (A) lock by lock to one part, leaving 1-2cm from the root. Distribute the mask evenly and continue with the other part until the hair is covered completely.

2. Leave the product on for 15 minutes. After, with a thin comb, only remove the excess mask to make the drying process easier.

3. Use a hairdryer at its highest temperature with a concentrator nozzle and a flat brush to dry the hair in a downward direction, lock by lock, and straighten until it is completely dry and straight. Important: A better drying session guarantees an optimal outcome.

4. Wash hair with the Post-Straightening SHampoo (B) 2 to 3 times, to remove the mask residue completely. Rinse with water and apply the Post-Straightening Conditioner (C). Leave it on for 3 minutes and rinse.

5. Dry hair naturally or with a hair dryer. Do not forget this product has a memory effect which is activated with the hairdryer, allowing a better straightening result.

USAGE ADVICE

1. This product may cause a variation of colour in colour-treated hair. It is recommended to do the straightening treatment prior to the next colour treatment.

2. In case you dye your hair after, remove all of the mask residue with the shampoo and do not use the conditioner. The colour treatment process can be affected if the hair is not properly and thoroughly washed in order to remove any straightening mask residue.

3. Do not apply the mask on the scalp.

I even washed my hair 2-3 times a week with normal shampoo and conditioner and the effects still lasted a little over 4 weeks. Also tried it on my friend's hair which is very thick hair. The result is straightened hair with less weight. Will continue to buy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful results but it is a bit of effort. I bought this kit today, for a good price of $20. I came home tonight and followed all the instructions and everything went exactly how it said it would. I was a bit skeptical at first if it would work because my hair is very bleached and dry, I wouldn’t say it made it look any shinier or healthier but it isn’t the point of the product and this is only the first use. However, I am pleased after I finished it, instead of a blow dryer I used my blow brush to dry and ‘straighten’ my hair after I washed out the product - as I didn’t have a diffuser on my blow dryer. It works amazing! My hair is actually quite soft and it is beautifully straight. I’m looking forward to see how it goes for the next couple weeks. The only complaints I would say is that it is hard to comb out the excess product before you dry your hair with it in, it takes a while to dry it atleast that’s what I found. Also, because I have a lot of hair I basically had to use the entire bottle, there’s about a quarter left but I made sure to go pretty heavy handed as I wanted to cover everything. There is a minor smell left in my hair but it’s not noticeable at all, neither is it unpleasant, you can just smell it every once and a while but I only just did the treatment. The shampoo and conditioner they provide smells good though so I was happy with that! Overall I recommend this very much, and don’t doubt this product! If it works on my awful, frizzy hair then it will work on yours. It makes me feel so much better having straight hair so give it a shot, and it’s on sale right now! Xx

Did not even wait for my hair to completely dry out as I don't have a lot of time to sit down and blow dry my hair. Left the product on for half and hour, and then washed and air dried. Hair was so soft and shiny and the poofiness of my hair was gone.It did not straightened my hair like the results you get from the salon after having brazillian treatment and I was happy with that as I wanted to keep my natural waves. my hair was very frizzy before this treatment. I've purchased the one in the pink box this time and can't wait to use it today.Will definitely be using Kativa hair products from now on.

I bought kativa hair shine and my hair is straight soft and shiny for a considerable lower price you get amazing quality. The results apparently last only one month which is the downside however even if i have to do this every 4 weeks consider it worth it . Great product

I've had professional straightening done before...expensive. This product will now be my go to. I love it. My hair didn't go dead straight, which I like but mostly there was no longer frizz or curls after washing. I can let my hair dry naturally and relax.

So what I did was when I knew my hair is dry I used my hair iron to straighten it more coz I was thinking the product is activated by heat. After shampooing and conditioning I rinsed my hair and used my towel to dry. I said Oh No my hair is wavy. I remembered in the direction it says it has a memory and is heat activated. Used my hair dryer and brush again...and I amazed my hair is straight, smooth and feels silky. I just hope this will last few days . For the price $24.99 It is absolutely fantastic!!!! I will be buying again.

I regret not getting someone to help me with the blow-drying because I feel like the results would have been even better. In saying that, my hair is so much softer after use, and it has relaxed my hair a great deal! It really goes a long way. One box was plenty to do my hair. Will definitely be using again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from DIY hair straightening It works, sort of. I have thick, course wavy hair and it has relaxed the wave, and my hair is smoother after washing without straightening irons. I still need them if I want straight hair though. I tint my hair and it lightened a shade or so after treatment, and it was really dry, I needed a good chop. However the smell of your hair in the weeks post treatment cannot be understated. Apparently washing your hair in cooler water, and dry shampoo can neutralise they smell of rotting vegetation a bit. Overall, for the money it’s worth a shot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not effective makes hair frizzy I bought this yesterday and tried it. The smell did not bother me. But after applying the straightening, my hair get so stiff/bristle. Some suggested to use Iron after blowdry, which I did, still stiffy and not soft. Thought will be soft and nice after I showered and wash off, I used the included shampoo and conditioner and wash my hair nicely, still stiffy and not soft. I tried before the Cocochoco Original Brazilian Hair Straightening and everyone noticed how shiny, soft and beautiful my hair was. So won't but again this Kativa and can not suggest at all to anyone.
