General Information

Kativa Straightening Without Iron With Technology NICTECH.

At-home no-iron straightening treatment. Free of formaldehyde and guanidine, thanks to the mechanism of its exclusive technology NICTECH (No-Iron hair Control Technology), it straightens hair fast and with a professional result, for about 4 weeks.

It is formula enriched with Keratin, leaving the hair visibly straight, smooth and looking natural.

Directions

1. Divide recently washed and shampooed, unconditioned, completely dry and untangled hair into 2 parts. Using the plastic gloves, apply the Straightening Mask (A) lock by lock to one part, leaving 1-2cm from the root. Distribute the mask evenly and continue with the other part until the hair is covered completely.

2. Leave the product on for 15 minutes. After, with a thin comb, only remove the excess mask to make the drying process easier.

3. Use a hairdryer at its highest temperature with a concentrator nozzle and a flat brush to dry the hair in a downward direction, lock by lock, and straighten until it is completely dry and straight. Important: A better drying session guarantees an optimal outcome.

4. Wash hair with the Post-Straightening SHampoo (B) 2 to 3 times, to remove the mask residue completely. Rinse with water and apply the Post-Straightening Conditioner (C). Leave it on for 3 minutes and rinse.

5. Dry hair naturally or with a hair dryer. Do not forget this product has a memory effect which is activated with the hairdryer, allowing a better straightening result.

USAGE ADVICE

1. This product may cause a variation of colour in colour-treated hair. It is recommended to do the straightening treatment prior to the next colour treatment.

2. In case you dye your hair after, remove all of the mask residue with the shampoo and do not use the conditioner. The colour treatment process can be affected if the hair is not properly and thoroughly washed in order to remove any straightening mask residue.

3. Do not apply the mask on the scalp.

I recommend this kit for: - people with physical limitations who are looking for a way to make their hair less work on wash days - those with hair prone to frizz and living in humid climates and are tired of hats - people with luscious curly hair who are sick of hearing how much they remind others of their boyfriends ex... I do not recommend: - changeing your appearance because of others comments, no matter who you are you are the only you I purchased this with a simple end goal, straighter but most importantly smoother and more manageable hair after washing it. I was definitely not disappointed. **please, consider getting this type of process done in a salon if you can afford it and restrictions allow; the more we support our fellow humans in this pandemic the better** This kit is a little fiddly but overall fairly simple to use, you'd need extremely long hair for this to only be good for a single application. Here are my top tips: - if you are short-sighted and own contact lenses wear them for this, it helps you get the critical drying procedure perfect - make sure you do the heat processing step in a large, well ventilated space - if you have asthma keep your ventolin nearby - if, like me, your hands are jerry, or if you aren't a master of the blow dry, or if you have very, very curly hair consider going over the blow dry at the end with a flat iron or straightening brush (do not forget to clean it with metho or isopropyl afterwards!) - if the end result isn't to your liking you can do it again after a week, and the second application is much, much easier Overall I cannot fault this product, my hair feels strong, and not damaged and most importantly doesn't make me feel like I'm fighting the kracken on humid mornings <3

I did use my straightener to finish it off, and now find it’s quicker to blow dry hair and absolutely no issues with frizz in humid weather. Certainly worth a go.

It doesn't flatten hair so you'll still have some nice movement. When I washed my hair the following week I just popped a large blog of Kativa mixed in with my hair oil onto my damp hair and dried it without washing it out.

My hair is wavy and frizzy at times especially in Autumn they become dry and firzzy After applying this product my hair has become straight and manageable. I love how my wavy hair becomes soft and look so put together It lasts for a couple of months ( depends on the no of times of washes) Good price and amazing result I would suggest keep it for over an hr and let it dry naturally for better results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally something that works for frizz! I have hair that after I blowdry and straighten within 5 mins is poofy and frizzy. I resorted to using apple cider vinegar as a final leave in rinse and that kind off worked to temporarily remove a little of the problem, but the frizz was still there. I tried this Kativa product and it's the only thing that works. Actually works! Hate the drying part with the product in your hair, it feels like it will never dry. I couldn't see anywhere telling me if I had to use the entire contents. This is the 2nd time using this product, I now only use about half the bottle just enough to soak my hair, that way it's not as hard to dry off. Which is the only hard part of this process. It's now 1 week since I did it and I'm going to use the remainder today as a follow-up. Quit buying hair products that say it will defrizz but never work and just give this product a go. It's on special atm at Chemist Warehouse for $15.99, perfect time to stock up instead of paying the usual $24.99. Even if you miss out on the special, the full price is still worth it for the result :)

Usually I will have to spend more than 4 hours in a hair salon to straighten my hair which is incredibly exhausting. This only took me less than an hour for the whole process including post washing and drying. Just amazed with how soft it made my hair and it feels so healthy. Followed each instruction written and now I have silky, straight hair! It's not completely straight as you got a blowdry but its better from my original curls! it is so so important to straighten it after you wash it as keratin gets in deep with the help of the heat. I will definitely buy this product again.

My hair is thick, frizzy and tight curls, I straighten every day normally, but not with this product. It is so easy to use and I maintain it with a good sulphate and paraben free shampoo and conditioner. This product is far more economical, one kit did two treatments, on my shoulder length bob style. No more costly salon visits.

Smooths hair gets rid of any frizz makes you’re hair THAT much easier to do. I did find it lightened my hair a couple shades though when I used it but definitely worth the money.

It’s not completely dead straight. But it is straight enough. My hair feels fine, soft and it’s not as frizzy!! I will continue to buy and use these products!!!

This product actually works. I don't use it to straighten my hair I use it to control fizz, the health and shine of my hair and most of all the softness. I have since bought another 3 boxes and will continue to use it forever. Highly recommended this is people with afro frizzy hair.
