General Information

Kativa Straightening Without Iron With Technology NICTECH.

At-home no-iron straightening treatment. Free of formaldehyde and guanidine, thanks to the mechanism of its exclusive technology NICTECH (No-Iron hair Control Technology), it straightens hair fast and with a professional result, for about 4 weeks.

It is formula enriched with Keratin, leaving the hair visibly straight, smooth and looking natural.

Kativa Straithening Without Iron Extra Shine is enriched with Keratin and Liquid Pearl to give extra shine to dull hair.

Directions

1. Divide recently washed and shampooed, unconditioned, completely dry and untangled hair into 2 parts. Using the plastic gloves, apply the Straightening Mask (A) lock by lock to one part, leaving 1-2cm from the root. Distribute the mask evenly and continue with the other part until the hair is covered completely.

2. Leave the product on for 15 minutes. After, with a thin comb, only remove the excess mask to make the drying process easier.

3. Use a hairdryer at its highest temperature with a concentrator nozzle and a flat brush to dry the hair in a downward direction, lock by lock, and straighten until it is completely dry and straight. Important: A better drying session guarantees an optimal outcome.

4. Wash hair with the Post-Straightening SHampoo (B) 2 to 3 times, to remove the mask residue completely. Rinse with water and apply the Post-Straightening Conditioner (C). Leave it on for 3 minutes and rinse.

5. Dry hair naturally or with a hair dryer. Do not forget this product has a memory effect which is activated with the hairdryer, allowing a better straightening result.

USAGE ADVICE

1. This product may cause a variation of colour in colour-treated hair. It is recommended to do the straightening treatment prior to the next colour treatment.

2. In case you dye your hair after, remove all of the mask residue with the shampoo and do not use the conditioner. The colour treatment process can be affected if the hair is not properly and thoroughly washed in order to remove any straightening mask residue.

3. Do not apply the mask on the scalp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As good as the salon I’ve paid hundreds of $ to have Keratin treatments in salons before and must say the result from Kativa has been equally as good. It was time consuming as you have to blow dry each tiny hair section at a time, and I also finished it off with a hair straightener to make sure it was locked in (although you don’t have to). The time and effort was worth the result and the huge saving. Two weeks on my hair is still super smooth.

The process was quite an effort and I nearly gave up half way through but the results are really good. I have thick frizzy hair and a lot of it. I have just washed my hair for the first time since using the treatment & just drying off with the blowdryer it is definitely straighter & less frizzy. Its not like the picture on the box but overall Im pretty happy. I took a star off for the effort involved

It does not give the same results as a salon treatment. It has made my hair straighter, shiny and really easy to manage, but not limp like with the ultimate straightening you get with an in salon treatment. Downside is it took ages..... I also coloured my roots same day, so basically hours of hair work. I will use again.

It has taken some of the bulk out of my hair and I ha e to straighten it less but definitely did not see the remit promised and I followed the Instructions to the letter. I would hate to attempt to apply this product by myself, as I had a friend do it for me and it still took all day. The a mount of hair washing and drying was too much to make me want to buy again.

Made my hair look a little bit straighter but overall not too huge of a difference. However, my hair does feel a bit softer. Overall, probably wouldn't do this again as it is quite complicated and time consuming, and doesn't make a big enough difference.

What I did get was 2 nearly 3 hours of my life I will never get back and a head full of hair that utter stinks. I don't know how to describe the smell but its terrible. Smells kinda like spray tans used to smell like when they'd be on for hours, like a chemically stinky smell... Imagine that so close to your nose, yuck! I would not recommend this to anyone.

After accepting this didn’t work, I then noticed that my hair smelled like chemicals. My friend said it smelled like sewage. I hope no one buys this, i would not wish this on anyone.

When i first did it, my very curly hair was so straight, but after the first wash my hair is terrible. It took the curls out and now it is all frizzy. I might try again, maybe after the second time it might be better.
