General Information

A highly effective overnight facial gel containing 15% Alpha Hydroxy Acid Complex to micro-exfoliate, resurface and diminish skin imperfections.

Reversaderm Corrective Skin Peel is a highly effective overnight facial gel. Containing 15% Alpha Hydroxy Acid Complex of Glycolic, Lactic and Mandelic Acids for a micro-cellular exfoliation to resurface the upper skin layer, remove dead skin cells, unclog pores and help to diminish skin imperfections. Recommended for dull, uneven, sun damaged, aged and acne-scarred skin to improve overall tone and texture for a brighter, more radiant complexion.

Directions

Use twice weekly at night. Apply a small amount all over face after cleansing, leave on and allow to absorb. No rinsing required. Complete your nightly routine with the Reversaderm Collagen Accelerator Serum and Reversaderm Cellular Regeneration Cream. Cleanse face the following morning with Reversaderm Glycolic Cleanser.

A light tingling sensation and cold feeling can occur as the product activates, this is normal but rinse immediately if the tingly becomes too uncomfortable. The intensity of the sensation may increase if serum or cream is applied before the peel has fully absorbed into the skin.

Received this product as a gift for Christmas, started using 5th Jan and was going to wait a month to review, however have noticed a difference within the first week and am so beyond happy with this product. I follow it up with the Reversaderm day & night cream as well as the complex S8 eye cream... it’s been such a blessing to add to my routine.

I am so glad to say I have found a brand I can completely stand behind and support, after 3 consecutive uses I noticed a massive difference in my face. Combined with a good skin regimen, this product works wonders! As a women of colour with dark areas, large pores and dry skin I've noticed this product has lightened hyperpigmentation, rejuvenated the skin and decreased pores. A little goes such a long way so I don't think I'll be running out of this any time soon

It is clear , soft, glowing and younger looking. Freckles have faded and are barely noticeable anymore. I now feel confident enough to go without any foundation or BB cream. Highly recommend.

Repeat pu I bought this product to reduce the look of tattoo eyebrows (my eyebrows natually feel out due to an extreme stress event in my life) This product is gently reducing the darker tattoo lines as I hoped it would. I've been using this peel (and the Reversaderm moisturiser) for a couple of months now and I've definitely noticed an improvement in my skin - it feels brighter, less dull and clearer. The product is lightweight and clear, so it's easy to use and doesn't give you "face mask monster" face while it works its magic! I love it and am planning to get the rest of the range!

Now I still use it every few days just to give my skin a boost. Already after a few days of use, I could see my skin becoming much more radiant and smooth. I have tiny bumps on my forehead and they have reduced a lot. I have to say for me this is possibly the best product I've ever used on my face. After seeing my facial therapist, she says my skin is much stronger than before as I didn't react to the professional treatments like I used to. Would absolutely recommend.

It is hard to find good products to diminish pigmentation spots- but this one certainly packs a punch. Stylish packaging, like its sister serum, this skin peel works wonders. I found that there was a slight tingly sensation when applied, but nothing concerning -you could almost consider it like an activator for it working. I used this mostly at night (or on days off) and feel that it did help to slightly diminish brown spots. Patience is always the key with pigmentation and I am sure with prolonged use that this peel will continue to work its magic. Sign me up, I am converted and recommend this product.

The packaging of this product is beautiful, in a tall bottle that is a gradient blue colour with a silver lid and writing. I just want to say though, that this product works. The product is a gel consistency and is light on the skin. It absorbed really well when I was applying it, and has a light scent. I usually prefer unscented products, but didn't mind the smell of this one. I have used this for 4 weeks about twice a week and have noticed quite an improvement in my overall skin tone and texture. My face looks brighter and clearer so I think I will be keeping this in my skincare rotation.

I suffer from acne which left red marks and scaring but with this product I found within 2 weeks my skin was clearer. It doesn’t feel toxic or sting on application which was amazing as some products irritate my skin. I even bought it for my mum who loves it. I just used it every night with my night creams and could tell a difference in the texture of my skin as well as the disappearance of any scaring a fine lines. I will 100% be buying this again because it’s so affordable and worth the money!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Dr. LeWinn’s Reversaderm Corrective Skin Peel three times a week for a little over a month now, and all I can say is "WOW!" I have (as no doubt we all have!) been suffering from a the occasional bout of 'maskne', but have been fortunate enough to be able to continue my self care regime with the infrequent facial here and there. But for this past month, using these products, I have discovered a new level of clarity and glow for my skin, and I love it! The product is easy to apply, gives a little tingle on application (not too strong though as my skin can be a little sensitive at times) and has an interesting scent - (almost like citrus as I said in my review about the serum). I would certainly recommend this product to anyone who loves to have a little pamper at home, and definitely to anyone who is unable to visit their trusted facial provider at this time. You will get results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m someone who already uses actives in my skin care (Retinol, BHA, Niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid) I was excited to see if this could be incorporated into my routine. The texture is gel/serum like and one pump is enough for my entire face and neck. It sinks quickly into the skin and doesn’t leave any tackiness which is fantastic but I wasn’t a fan of the scent as it reminded me of vitamin C meds but it also disappeared quickly. I used this in conjunction with the Dr Lewinn’s Collagen Accelerator Serum - which I would apply 5-10mins afterwards leaving adequate time for this to absorb into the skin. I used this 2 times a week and on those nights, I don’t use my other actives in the same routine and I always used 50+ sun screen during the day. Pros: It fitted into my existing routine as I didn’t already have AHA and the product easily sunk into my skin without leaving any tackiness. I also love the tingling and cooling sensation but I know this isn’t for everyone! Cons: The medicated smell. Personally, my night skin care ritual is also like a spa treatment and so I am sensitive to how a product smells; I prefer it to smell organic, lightly scented or no scent at all... Also my skin felt a little dry after BUT that was offset when I added the Collagen Accelerator afterwards. All in all, although I didn’t notice improvement in pigmentation or fading of any dark spots; my skin does have a brighter complexion! However if you already have a pretty comprehensive routine that includes a surface exfoliant or vitamin C, you may not see a difference.

The texture and clarity of my skin have visibly improved. My face looks brighter and more radiant. During summer, I wear more sunscreen but this peel has really helped to cleanse my skin. The product is lightweight and clear and easy to apply. I didn't experience any burning or irritation when I first started using the product either and love how my skin is feeling through the hotter time of year. Its been the perfect answer to a facial during lockdown.

Whilst I am lucky enough to have no scarring I do have skin that looked and felt dull with uneven tone, but after using this product and feeling those tingles I saw an improvement in overall tone and a radiance with the old skin cells gone and a new baby face shining through! I looked forward to my twice weekly applications so I could wake up the next morning feeling fresh with more glowy skin!

Unfortunately it made my skin tingle but it is bearable. The packing is sleek and quite luxurious to hold. The pump is easy to use and disperses just the right amount. It looks quite fancy on the bathroom counter! The scent smells quite strongly of citrus which some people may not like. It does wear off quickly so I don’t find it to be an issue. I have found a slight reduction in acne scarring but still find that my skin seems like it needs a good exfoliate - which I was hoping this product would help with. I’d highly recommend following it up with the collagen accelerator and of course SPF.

I have been using AHAs for about a decade but at around 8% and have never had an issue with sensitivity. I would definitely say my skin noticed the difference with a tingling/ cold sensation but no ongoing problems and my skin did look nice after. But I really didn’t notice any “extra” with higher percentage to my skin than with my regular routine. Maybe the there is only so much skin that can be exfoliated. Lol. The packaging is excellent. Air tight , easy to use and each pump is a good amount. Two pumps for my face was perfect. I have a Point of caution that might be just for my skin but I used this product immediately after a reasonably hot shower and my skin did not like it. But only lasting 10-15 seconds. The next time I waited for about 10 minutes and no problems. As I said this may be an issue that only affects myself. I think this is a good product if you are ok with AHAs and don’t have sensitive skin.

First up the bottle is lovely very luxurious and it has a pump which I love. The serum itself is not sticky but it does have a tingle to it and burns on irritated skin. The one thing I didn’t enjoy about it is the smell. It smells very much of alcohol which is very off putting for me. But all in all it is a nice serum. I can’t say I’ve seen a dramatic change in my skin so I’m not sure if I’d repurchase. I will keep using it and see how I go.

On application, you can feel a tingling and almost stinging sensation but it's not unbearable. It is definitely recommended that you avoid any open sores/cuts on your face. I am of the old school of thought that tingling/stinging means it's working so I kind of appreciated the feeling. My skin texture has definitely improved since using this and my pores are visibly smaller. I was hoping to tackle some pigmentation issues but this doesn't seem to have made much difference. It's also helped reduce the occurrence and life cycle of pimples. I am a new convert to liquid exfoliators and I will say that I will definitely continue using this type from now on.

It has great ingredients - glycolic, mandelic and lactic acids which are all great AHA's for anti-ageing and helping to restore the surface of the skin. I'm early 40s and I have some sun damage and pigmentation, as well as larger pores and skin tending to the dry side. I found that this peel seemed to help lift the skin's surface and it did feel like it was cleaned out. As the directions on the bottle state, you can get a tingling sensation, which I certainly did, but I feel like its a sign that the product is working. You only need a small amount of product, and make sure your skin is dry before you put it on otherwise it won't absorb properly. I would re-purchase.

The pump bottle is easy to use and the product is easily absorbed into the skin. I love that you don’t need to rinse after use and can go about your evening and don’t have to worry about staining on bedding. I found the product tingled on application the first couple of times but there was no discomfort. I have struggled with sensitive and reactive skin and have previously relied on laser and needling to keep my skin with limited results. Since using this product in combination with the Dr LeWinns accelerator serum I have noticed a huge improvement in pore size and scarring. My skin tone and texture has dramatically improved and appears brighter. For the first time in my life I actually feel comfortable going out without makeup. I can’t wait to see the ongoing results with longer term use.

According to the literature this product is a highly effective overnight facial gel. When I first starting using this product my skin was a bit dull, had enlarged pores and my skin tone was un even. I have been using this for about a month now, I apply it every third night (twice weekly) to cleansed skin and leave it on over night. I have been very happy with the results thus far. I have noticed my pores have tightened and my skin appears clearer and less pigmented. I will continue to use in the hope it will continue to improve. Application is easy - simply pump and apply to your clean skin at night. I found a small amount goes a long way. The product is very light and absorbs very quickly. I really like that it does not leave an oily residue. I found this product to be easy to use and quite effective. For me it does as the literature suggests. All up I am very happy with it and would recommend.

I'm truly impressed by the Dr. LeWinn's corrective skin peel. It is user friendly and the design of the product is very handy. I really enjoyed the auto-pump feature as I have a tendency of over-using products. I think this product is potent and is placed at an appropriate price point. The peel overall does a great job - it spreads quickly, is evenly placed on the face and is effective. A small amount of this goes a long way. I would high recommend this!

I did find a little goes a long way but if you rub it in quick it’ll be fine. It definitely tingles when you first apply but that sensation didn’t last long, I actually kind of liked the feeling! It will sting if you have even a superficial scratch on your skin so avoid those areas if applicable. I did notice that my skin responded well to the peel with no reactions with a moderate improvement to the touch. The peel is a clear liquid that I didn’t find sticky or greasy but always washed my hands after use.

I really enjoyed the tingly sensation when applied and felt that the active ingredients were definitely doing their job (just avoid putting it over a pimple - ouch!). I didn't notice a massive difference after a couple of applications but by the end of week 3, I did feel that more pores were slightly smaller and my skin a little brighter. I also found the product to be relatively lightweight... just make sure you're ready to go with the moisturizer quickly! The product smelled a little 'vinegary' although this was not overly offputting. I would continue to use this product, however, would probably only use it once a week.
