General Information

A highly effective overnight facial gel containing 15% Alpha Hydroxy Acid Complex to micro-exfoliate, resurface and diminish skin imperfections.

Reversaderm Corrective Skin Peel is a highly effective overnight facial gel. Containing 15% Alpha Hydroxy Acid Complex of Glycolic, Lactic and Mandelic Acids for a micro-cellular exfoliation to resurface the upper skin layer, remove dead skin cells, unclog pores and help to diminish skin imperfections. Recommended for dull, uneven, sun damaged, aged and acne-scarred skin to improve overall tone and texture for a brighter, more radiant complexion.

Aqua (Water), Glycolic Acid, Alcohol, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water, Lactic Acid, Menthyl Lactate, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Mandelic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Coceth-7, PPG-1-PEG-9 Lauryl Glycol Ether, PEG 40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate (Vit C), Parfum, Limonene*, Benzyl Benzoate*, Glycerin, Crocus Sativus Stigma Extract

Directions

Use twice weekly at night. Apply a small amount all over face after cleansing, leave on and allow to absorb. No rinsing required. Complete your nightly routine with the Reversaderm Collagen Accelerator Serum and Reversaderm Cellular Regeneration Cream. Cleanse face the following morning with Reversaderm Glycolic Cleanser.

A light tingling sensation and cold feeling can occur as the product activates, this is normal but rinse immediately if the tingly becomes too uncomfortable. The intensity of the sensation may increase if serum or cream is applied before the peel has fully absorbed into the skin.

We recommend patch testing before use. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately.

Alpha Hydroxy Acids can make skin sensitive to the sun, so we recommend using a sunscreen in conjunction with this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Brighter and fresher [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Drlewinns has a great range of products and these in particular I have found to be very effective but unfortunately the scent is something to get used to. I found the packaging to be really nice and look very sleek in with my other products. The pump dispenses a good amount of serum to be applied. It snooths over so nicely and left me skin feeling a little tighter and refreshed. There was a slight tingle but nothing to extreme. I do feel like this has helped to brighten and freshen my skin as I wake upfeeling quite comfortable and a bit more confident about my skin. Like other products in this range the only thing letting it down for me is the smell of the serum. It isn't pleasant but luckily once the serum has been applied it does fade away so I'm happy to keep using to see the results continue.

The product comes in a handy, good sized bottle. Has a pump style applicator which product a good amount of product with minimal wastage. The corrective moisturiser has a nice creamy consistency, is easy to apply, absorbs well into my skin. I've not used a corrective skin peel before so to wake in the morning after application and wash my face and feel a slimy residue be removed was unusual for me, not sure if it's the normal. My only complaint is that the smell is not pleasant though once applied there is no strong smell afterwards. I have applied twice a week for the past 4 weeks and I'm quite happy with the results.

The clear gel like liquid spreads easily and is absorbed fairly quickly, although the skin does feel slightly wet for about 15 minutes or so which was totally fine . Two pumps is all that was needed to cover face and neck generously. It had a slight tingly feeling, but not at all unpleasant. I think my skin tone has evened out a little, but it's probably too early to tell. I've only been using twice weekly as directed, for about three weeks. Will definitely continue using until I've finished the bottle.

My skin felt smoother, fresher and it helped reduce the appearance of some stubborn scars on my face from popping pimples. I think it is a nice product to try if your skin is starting to age and is you have some minor scaring that you would like to try and improve without drastic action. I am in my mid 30s and really liked how this performed for me. I don't hate the idea of splurging on skin care and it's great to see how this one worked for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from effective to fade scarring [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was easy to use pump,went on well, gets a bit thick after a while so moistuirise in quick, and dont use on an open sore /pimple(ouch).I found this tightened skin as slowly absorbed.Felt little tingles here and there whilst activating.I feel it really fades acne s cars,having bad adult acne this was great for me.I think this is a bit similar to ther skin renewal they had years ago with vitamin a in but got discontinued as has same fading scar affect.I know i will be buying this again, affective and gives me confidence,make up goes over well next day.Non greasy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gentle and effective exfoliator [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was fortunate to be included in the beauty crew review team for this product as I love a good exfoliator! This serum has gentle AHAs and was lovely to use! My skin is used to far stronger exfoliators but I still felt it left my skin nice and glowy immediately after use. This product comes in an easy to use pump bottle with one pump enough to cover my whole face (and the excess used at the back of my hands!). I didn't use this in my neck as the skin is delicate there. I didn't find this gel had any distinct smell and was clear and thick in texture. It absorbed quickly but I found it left my skin feeling fairly tight. I waited till it was completely dried on my skin before shooting my next serums or moisturiser. My skin didn't feel tingly following my using it, but like I said, I'm used to using stronger products. I used this twice a week and found my skin was lovely and smooth the next morning. Ongoing use will ensure my skin remains glowy and smooth.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Slightly dissapointed [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as part of the review crew trial and was super excited as have heard great things about it not to mention Dr Lewinns products are pretty good but I was a little disappointed. I do love the purple packaging and the easy-to-use pump. The peel is clear and has a very light smell that you barely notice. It absorbs quickly and is not greasy. It does give off a bit of a tingle when you first apply it but I did not get the cold sensation noted may be a possibility just a slight tingle for a few seconds which quickly disappeared. I have been using this in conjunction with the Dr Lewinns accelerator for just over 4 weeks and the only difference I have noticed is that my complexion looks more radiant and a little brighter. Apart from that I have not noticed any other improvements to my fine lines, pores or anything else the product claims to assist with at this early stage.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Feels like an institute peel at home [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried Dr. LeWinn’s Reversaderm Corrective Skin Peel in conjunction with the serum, as recommended - twice per week for the peel, twice a day for the serum. First things first, I loved the packaging, thought it looked really good. I wished there were more things I loved about the product, but unfortunately that’s it…the combined usage of the 2 products just didn’t work for me and I have not seen any significant improvement on my skin. Maybe it needs to be used for a few months before showing results, but not sure how many consumers would be that patient. Anyway, the texture of the peel itself was nice (gel like) and the smell was ok (unlike the serum); you’ll definitely feel the tingle after application- the same way as you would if you got a peel at an beauty institute. To the people with sensitive skins, you should be ok using it, which is always a plus. Because they work as a system and the serum was not a winner in my opinion, I would not recommend but the price of both isn’t extortionate so give it a try if you want to

I have combination skin with an ioly t-zone and get texture on my cheeks. I loved the sound of the Dr Lewinn's Reversaderm Corrective Skin Peel. I had high hopes that the AHA's would improve my skin texture and provide me with smooth luminous skin. Sadly this wasn't the case. After using the serum for a month I still wasn't seeing the results I'd hoped for. My skin literally felt no different and I was left feeling disappointed, the texture was still there and so were my clogged pores. The peel itself was nice to apply, I took a little while to soak in but didn't create any irritation at all. It also had a nice scent which I really enjoyed. Overall, I wish I could recommend this product to family and friends but I know there are better products out there.
