General Information

QV Baby Barrier Cream soothes baby's skin & helps protect against nappy rash. It is also suitable to help protect against infant facial rash, heat rash, chafing, infant eczema and sensitive skin.

Nappy rash is the most common skin condition that can affect your little one during infancy¹. That's why we developed paediatrician-recommended QV Baby Barrier Cream. The soothing, rich formula helps protect delicate skin against nappy rash. It forms a barrier that shields baby's skin from water, detergents, chemicals and other irritants. QV Baby Barrier Cream's non-sticky, non-greasy, low-irritant formulation and moisturising base also helps to rehydrate skin and prevent moisture loss from baby's soft bottom.

Warnings

Ingredients

Aqua (Water), Zinc Oxide, Dimethicone, Paraffinum Liquidum, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-25, Panthenol, Methylparaben, Xanthan Gum.

Directions

At nappy change, remove wet and soiled nappy and clean area thoroughly. Apply QV Baby Barrier Cream to affected skin at every nappy change. Pay particular attention to ensure application to the folds of the baby's skin.

It can help with infant facial rash, heat rash, excema and sensitivity in all areas. The cream really helps to rehydrate skin and replace moisture. Make sure to pat skin dry before applying. The pH-balanced cream works as a protective, soothing barrier on the skin. Suitable from the very new newborns to little kids for any concerns. Also has been useful for my older son on some grazes from concrete.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cream! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic baby rash cream. My son gets a bit of redness after wearing a nappy the entire day. I always put it on at night, in the morning the redness always clears up. Doesn't have a strong smell and it seems quite calming. Sometimes my son complains when I put on other major rash creams, I'm not sure if it's because it stings or be doesn't like the smell but he doesn't have a problem with this one. I have also heard zinc oxide (the ingredient in QV baby barrier cream) is great to use for adults for skin slugging in winter. I haven't tried it yet but when the weather gets colder and drier I will try use it for that.

I like this cream for my little one and I found it spreads easily and dried quickly. It has also helped her skin especially with her eczema. I also like that it has no smell and isn’t scented. As a mum I do love the QV baby range and I would recommend the QV baby cream. It has helped to prevent nappy rashes which is great for when their teething.It’s also a convenient size and not too small.I have also used the product and I love it. My go to product!!

Effective for my baby diaper rash due to long traveling time with diaper on. Definitely will recommend and continue using this barrier cream product. It's not too sticky and has a good protective texture. The diaper cream is good and easy to apply. The cream is non-sticky yet able create a thin layer of protection over the bum. It is also easy to wash off. Best of all it soothe my daughtrer's diaper rash and he looks comfortable after every diaper change.

I received this as part of the Bounty Parents Trial Team Discovery Bag, to trial new products. I would use it again and buy it at the shops when I need a nappy/barrier cream. The QV Baby Barrier Cream is easy to use, and has a good consistency. I applied it where I usually use nappy cream, around the legs, and in my newborn’s creases. My son also had some rash behind his ears, from moisture build up, and it cleared it up quickly. The tube is a handy size for the nappy bag, and easy to squeeze the right amount for what you need.

A little goes a long way, easy to open and apply. The tube makes it easy to get out every last bit so there is no wasting of the product. When applied, it did not have a strong scent and dlwas not greasy however left a moisturised barrier layer which seemed to soothe until the next nappy change. Redness appeared to be minimised. This was also great for the redness on my babies skin between folds of skin which occurs regularly. It helped to keep the area moisturised and non abrasive therefore reduced redness.

My toddler often suffers from nappy rash that can flair up really quickly and cause her bad discomfort. Her rash would be very red and inflamed and have tried all different products in the past. I used this cream once and it settled the rash very quickly and relieves my toddlers discomfort instantly. I continued to use the barrier cream for several days after the rash until it was completely cleared up. Would definitely recommend this product to parents.

The fragrance is pleasant without being overpowering, and none of the ingredients irritate my daughter's sensitive skin. I prefer the tube to a tub, it is easy to throw into the nappy bag without worrying that the lid will fall off and it will get everywhere. Most importantly, it works.

Firstly I love the packaging of this product, I found it great! Great size, not too small but not too large or bulky! The packaging was very cute too! The consistency of the product was great and good packaging for a potentially messy product! I used this on my dry skin and areas of chaffing and found it was so beneficial particularly where my my skin in winter is more at risk of breaking down! I will continue to use this for myself and as a baby sitter, will be recommending this to the families I baby sit!

In the winter and colder months, I get very dry skin on my face and legs to the point where regardless of what I use, it gets sore to where it feels like I have rubbed my skin raw with a physical exfoliant. I applied this barrier cream by itself at night and after a few days, the raw feeling went away and my skin started to feel hydrated and more normal than dry again. It does leave a white cast because of how thick it is but if you are using it at night or on a baby, it really doesn't matter. Such a great multi use product!

I can see the skin absorbing the cream and there is a noticeable difference when we use the cream. It’s not messy and greasy like others but soothing We love it!

This barrier cream does the trick for us. We lather a good amount on bub's bum and have seen no redness or anything damaging to the skin. So far, her skin has stayed soft and clean with this routine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from QV Baby Barrier Cream I’ve tried many barrier creams for both of my toddlers when they were babies even as bigger a toddler’s but the Qv Barrier Cream I still use it now when they get a rash. They both have pretty good skin that doesn’t tend to flare up but when they did have a happy rash or a rash on their cheek I would often apply thickly at night after their baths then would not be washed off until the morning allowing the barrier cream to work. I found the cream to respond very well to both of my children’s skin as quickly too. I would highly recommend this barrier cream to everyone with babies or toddlers needing a great barrier cream.
