General Information

QV Baby Barrier Cream soothes baby's skin & helps protect against nappy rash. It is also suitable to help protect against infant facial rash, heat rash, chafing, infant eczema and sensitive skin.

Nappy rash is the most common skin condition that can affect your little one during infancy¹. That's why we developed paediatrician-recommended QV Baby Barrier Cream. The soothing, rich formula helps protect delicate skin against nappy rash. It forms a barrier that shields baby's skin from water, detergents, chemicals and other irritants. QV Baby Barrier Cream's non-sticky, non-greasy, low-irritant formulation and moisturising base also helps to rehydrate skin and prevent moisture loss from baby's soft bottom.

Warnings

Ingredients

Aqua (Water), Zinc Oxide, Dimethicone, Paraffinum Liquidum, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-25, Panthenol, Methylparaben, Xanthan Gum.

Directions

At nappy change, remove wet and soiled nappy and clean area thoroughly. Apply QV Baby Barrier Cream to affected skin at every nappy change. Pay particular attention to ensure application to the folds of the baby's skin.

They both have pretty good skin that doesn’t tend to flare up but when they did have a happy rash or a rash on their cheek I would often apply thickly at night after their baths then would not be washed off until the morning allowing the barrier cream to work. I found the cream to respond very well to both of my children’s skin as quickly too. I would highly recommend this barrier cream to everyone with babies or toddlers needing a great barrier cream.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all rounde3r I use this for everything! Not just nappy rash. I prefer this as I find it does not have an overpowering smell, it feels great on the skin. It is not overly oily but you can feel that it is leaving a great barrier on the skin. My son burnt his hand and this is what I was using for his after care, it healed his burns and there is very little to no scarring on his hands which is fantastic. And such a small amount goes a long way, it lasts for so long.

They never had any severe nappy rash but did get the odd flare up but was quickly calmed after apply this after a bath and would apply a good thick amount and would be soothed in the morning.

No issues with my baby’s sensitive skin and it didn’t affect my use of cloth nappies. Not anywhere near as thick as sudocream - wipes off pretty easily with baby wipes.

I used this just before bed and the next day the rash was practically gone. As soon as his bum started looking red I’d pop some on and it would be cleared by the next nappy change. I was super happy with this product and will definitely buy again.

This cream not only relieves her rashes but tits super absorbent and light weight quality also prevents from that stickiness. As this cream is designed for infants, I felt safe that I would not react to it. The barrier cream has been a lifesaver for my chafing due to sports as well. The soft, thick cream applies easily and has a neutral but pleasant smell. A little product goes a long way and the easy to squeeze tube helps to get the right amount of product. Love it. Pros Economical Safe for babies also great for adults Easily spread Good for all areas of the body Cons None that I experienced

It is a decent price, stops nappy rash, washes out of fabric without stains and most importantly, sticks to skin – even when it's wet!
