General Information

Swisse Skincare Vitamin C 5% Niacinamide 5% Brightening Day Cream contains a scientifically formulated, synergistic blend of actives designed to target dark spots and uneven skin tone. Delivering advanced pigmentation correction, this lightweight, brightening moisturiser contains stabilised vitamin C 5% and SYNBRIGHT®, a unique power combination of niacinamide 5% and N-Acetyl-D-Glucosamine 2%. Suitable for everyday use, the formulation delivers deep hydration and antioxidant protection for a brighter, more radiant complexion.

Directions

This is a great sized product and absorbs really well into my skin, I love also how easily it spreads with just a small amount. I can see this will last me quite a while so it is great value for money. I love how this is improving my uneven skin tone and is making my skin feel a lot firmer, so I’m getting my confidence back! I have been using this for 2 weeks now and my skin is really feeling fresh, supple and looking a lot more consistent in brightness and appearance (my dark spots are starting to slowly go!). This cream has a consistency that seems like a cross between a cream and a gel and I find it super hydrating on my skin. At the same time, it feels really nice and light and not like it's clogging anything up, and it just glides on really beautifully to my skin. I have been using it in conjunction with the Vitamin C 10% Brightening Booster Serum and also the Glycolic Acid 8% Brightening Gel Cleanser and I feel like my skin is brighter and that my pigmentation has been reduced.

However, it applies easily and absorbs well into the skin without any sticky residue. I have found it to work well when used together with the Swisse Vitamin C Brightening Booster Serum which has improved the appearance of my skin’s tone.

It feels more like a serum than a day cream, however it is very hydrating and is not sticky at all. The only downfall with this product is the pump. It is quite stiff and makes it difficult to control the amount of product that is dispensed.

The most noticeable difference was my dark spots and pigmentation seemed to have cleared/smoothed out and it looks brighter/more fresh. I started using the cream at the end of Autumn/beginning of winter so my skin was starting to dry out and I definitely feel is really hydrating on the skin. The moisturiser is lightweight and sits well under my makeup during the day and does not transfer onto my pillow at night. I feel it is reasonably priced for the high quality product.

I do sometimes have issues with creams not really absorbing as well as I would like however this one gave me no problems at all, which I really appreciated ! My skin feels fabulous after using the serum followed by this moisturiser and I can see a visible difference in my very uneven skin tone looking lighter and brighter . I like everything about this day cream and while it wont instantly fix all my pigmentation issues it is definitely making a difference and I look forward to seeing the longer term results I will get. Really impressed and happy with my results so far!
