General Information

Composed with powerful dermatological actives known to reduce the appearance of dark spots and boosts skin's glow. My face even after just a few weeks had a noticeable difference. My skin looked more clear, lighter and just better in general. I am still continuing to use this in my daily routine. Would recommend. Also a huge note! I am someone with very sensitive skin, and this didn't cause any irritation or anything bad for me:)

I was very pleasantly surprised when it applied so smoothly and sunk into my skin leaving it looking moisturised but not sticky or shiny. The next day after first use my skin was noticeably brighter and healthier looking, and not irritated at all. I was gifted this product but, will definitely buy when it runs out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reduced acne scars, brightening, smooth and glowy I’ve tried so many Vitamin C serums before and literally, this Garnier Vitamin C* Brightening Serum is top tier. I used this product every day for 3 weeks and wow! My acne scars and dark spots were reduced, my skin appeared brighter (don’t forget to put sunscreen ontop as you can be easily burnt whilst using Vitamin C). This serum absorbs so beautifully into my skin, it’s super light weight, glides onto my skin without any issues. A little goes a long way. When I felt my skin looked flat, I’d put a few more extra drops on and literally bathe in it. Extra bonus points for having Niacinamide and Salicylic Acid. Two fantastic ingredients that really add that extra boost to Garnier Vitamin C serum. Overall, my skin looks and feels amazing. I’m super impressed with how my skin actually is. I suffer from adult acne, so seeing my scar fade is literally the best thing I could ask for. My skin is brighter, smoother and softer. I feel confident to just wear this serum (and sunscreen). I feel like it really improved my skin's texture and it felt good on my skin when I applied it. I don't have any age spots but my skin definitely appears brighter now and looks smoother, the surface texture where I have light acne scaring is less. My skin drank this product in and felt softer and more hydrated afterwards.

Over the years my skin has been getting better, by a lot. Skin only has a few bumps here and there but the scars and spots have stayed. I've tried many products including other vitamin c creams and gels to try get rid of them but so far nothing has worked as close as this one. This product isn't harsh on the skin, it has faded my spots and scars away to the point where it's almost unnoticeable. When applying, it has this refreshening feel which is what your skin needs. My face instantly felt fresher! And in less than a week, my face was definitely brighter and more Glowy. It goes on silky smooth, and absorbs really well - no sticky residue afterwards like other serums I’ve tried! I’ve been using the serum for 2 weeks and although I haven’t noticed a change in my dark spots, my skin does look and feel healthier. I am keen to continue using this serum to see if does reduce my dark spots. It’s worth noting that my face is COVERED in freckles, which makes it a bit tricky to say how well the serum works on my sun spots. I don’t expect the sun spots to disappear, but perhaps to reduce in size and blend in with all the freckles 😅 It’s also worth noting that I have sensitive skin and this serum doesn’t irritate it at all. And after a week the overall effects on my skin were very noticeable. I look younger, less lines, skin feels soft and plump and the spots on my face have definitely faded. I have found that it has worked better in comparison to some of the more expensive ones that I have used. Within the first few uses I noticed that it had made my skin glow, evened out my skin tone and reduced some of the texture that I had. I love that I can use it under make up because it is lightweight or on days when I am not wearing make up because it makes my skin glow and appears brighter. This didn't feel drying in any way which I have found with some brightening products, I even used it overnight without an additional moisturiser with no issues. I have some sun damage dark spot areas on the high points of my cheeks and nose which appear less noticeable after a few weeks adding this product to my lineup. Plus, it has improved the overall look of my skin. My dark spots aren’t as noticeable and my skin looks more vibrant and even. I am however not fond of the dropper style applicator but the product itself caused no irritation and leaves my skin feeling and looking great.
