I've never used this brand before but was excited too as I'm a huge fan of New Zealand skin care and natural products in general. This particular moisturer comes in a very luxe looking frosted glass jar with a rose gold lid. It looks expensive and beautiful on my shelf and I looked forward to using this every morning before my sunscreen and makeup. The moisturiser is a not too rich, not too light cream texture with a scent I cant quite put my finger on -but I like it! A nice, light earthy aroma. The moisturiser absorbs well and does seem to live up to its claims of being soothing as that is exactly how I felt after application. The moisturiser absorbed well and I could apply my sunscreen and makeup quite fast and problem free. I'm not sure it lives up to the claims of reducing fine lines and moisture loss as I only got about a week to use it. My skin did APPEAR smoother and more even to me though. I enjoyed using this and I am quite happy with the results for my combination skin so far. Has many amazing ingredients so I look forward to how this will perform with more use.

While I can’t really comment on it’s anti-aging claims as I haven’t been using it long enough to notice much of a difference, I do have to say that it is a really lovely and calming face cream. It comes in a 50g glass jar which makes me so happy as it’s eco friendly - something that is definitely important to me. The cream itself is light but creamy, it soaks into the skin really well and doesn’t leave you feeling oily. It is lightly scented, I want to say it’s a floral scent? Maybe jasmine? Whatever it is, it’s beautiful. Having a set cream for my morning routine has been lovely and I will definitely continue to use this in the future.

The first thing I noticed was that the packaging looks quite luxurious. The decadent white cream is protected in a dark/black glass jar with a rose gold-like metallic lid which is easily twisted on and off. There is a very subtle scent that I couldn’t put my finger on (shea butter?) but it was not overpowering. I appreciated that this cream had not been coloured, artificially or otherwise. My skin is on the sensitive side and is prone redness and irritation. I didn't have any of these issues with this cream. I felt that I really did sooth, strengthen and protect my skin. I felt that my skin stayed better hydrated during the day using this day cream. I also noticed a somewhat tightening effect of my skin which I assume is related to its anti-ageing properties.

This product is a day cream however I have also enjoyed using this as a night cream as it’s quite thick and creamy. It does absorb quite well but I can still feel it on my skin - which I love in a night cream. It has a light and fresh scent which I found really lovely - not overpowering at all. The packaging is gorgeous - with the heavy jar and the rose gold lid. But again from a hygiene and efficiency perspective I would love this in a pump bottle. I have never used this brand before but I liked the claims of nature plus science - it sounds like the best of both worlds. I also really like that it’s made in New Zealand, there is no animal testing and it’s got some great sounding ingredients.

The Age Renew Soothing Day Cream comes in a glass jar with rose gold lid and accents on the label. The jar is packaged in a cardboard box that seems like an unnecessary addition for a natural skincare company that may want to make more sustainable choices to better appeal to their client base. The cream claims to soothe, strengthen and protect skin, reduce redness and smooth fine lines. I love that the Glow Lab philosophy is to combine science with nature, this is a philosophy I share as a science student. The cream is free of nasties and contains ingredients like liquorice root, ginkgo, rosehip, coconut, shea, ginger orotund vitamin E. I have dry, reactive skin. I'm prone to redness and flaking if I react to any ingredients. I look for a hydrating moisturiser that leaves a protective barrier on my skin without looking or feeling greasy. The Glow Lab Age Renew Day cream ticks my boxes. The fragrance is soft, natural and slightly earthy, it's very pleasant. I don't react to any of the ingredients and my skin feels soft and nourished upon application. It doesn't cause me to breakout like some of the richer creams do. I really like this product and it's good value for money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CCdeluxe from I'm loving this little hidden secret I have super dry skin, so so thirsty and struggle to find face creams who can deliver, but this one is a pleasant surprise. I was interested in trialling the Glow Lab Age Renew® Soothing Day Cream, as part of the natural beauty month trial team. I am always sceptical of new face creams who promise oceans of hydration and fall short on delivery. Glow Lab's packaging of this "soothing day cream" promised a fair few claims........ 40% improved moisture retention, reduced redness, smoothes fine lines, gentle for sensitive skins. Dermatologically tested and from New Zealand, I was feeling a little more confident to give this day cream a fair trial and I was not disappointed. I have been using this day cream for two weeks now and I am excited to continue using it. I love the smell, it's not perfumy, I can't quite work out what the smell is, but it's just a gentle aroma that fades away. The texture of this day cream is smooth and creamy and it really does glide onto the skin. I love that it absorbs quickly (I think it may have to do with the dryness of my skin too) I find my favourite selling point with this product is that a little goes a long way. I am also impressed with the price and value of this day cream for a 50g pot. I feel my skin is more moisturised, however, I think I have missed the boat for opportunities of face creams to wisk away and smooth fine lines. I am happy to say I have had no reactions to this day cream either. I think Glow labs have a little hidden gem here in this pot of gold and I know I will be a returning customer, I see this day cream becoming a staple for me.

The natural botanical extracts MultiEx Rosanic and SymRelief 100 strengthen skin's natural barrier and reduce irritation and redness, while Urban Ethic protects against the damaging effects of environmental pollution. Matrixyl synthe 6 accelerates skin renewal and reduces the appearance of wrinkles. So the product is a mixture of science and botanical extracts to create a powerful yet effective product for irritated skin. When I apply to my skin, my skin drinks up the cream. There is no residue and its so easy to apply my primer and foundation. At the end of the day, my skin is so soft. Like velvety soft. The cream in no way clogs up pores or creates any breakouts. I have been using this cream for well over a week and I am finding my skin is looking less and less red. My skin is so soft. I find this cream very effective during this transitional weather from winter to spring. Highly recommend.

I've heard a lot about the brand but have never used any of the products before....but after my introduction to this brand via this cream, I am excited to get my hands on more of their products. I fell in love instantly at the sight of the box....I know, stupid! But it's a very pretty, expensive looking box, and then inside, my heart fluttered again.....the housing for this cream is absolute luxury and would look great on any ladies tables. I quite like the scent of this moisturiser, it's not subtle but not overly strong either.....a pretty scent. The cream has a lovely thick texture. I apply this over my serum and under my face oil. I find that it's easily applied and absorbed, considering the thickness of it. It leaves my face feeling plump, nourished and hydrated. I love that it's vegan friendly. And I give it 5 stars as it doesn't contain SPF. I can't wear moisturiser that contains SPF..... I cannot attest to the 'smoothing fine lines' statement that is on the box as I've only used it once a day for 6 days.....but I will continue to use this and see what changes happen.

It was lovely to learn that the ingredients are natural and are not tested on animals. The packaging was very attractive and the cream stored in a glass tub with rose gold lid. The cream is light, non-greasy and smooth on my skin. It has a nice feel and texture to it and does not leave my skin oily or shiny. I found that the cream absorbed well and having the cream on overnight resulted in my skin feeling nice and smooth, moisturised and soft. I also enjoyed the smell of the cream, it isn’t too much or overly fragrant. Overall the Glowlab Age Renew Soothing Day Cream is an affordable night cream that works well. I’ll be investigating more Glowlab products as i was quite impressed with the quality of this product.

The Age Renew Soothing Day Cream, helps to improves moisture retention, reduces redness & irritation, smooths fine lines, soothing and great for sensitive skin, protects against pollution, is dermatologically tested. This cream is vegan, cruelty free and made in New Zealand. The formula is a thick texture that is easily spread and absorbed by the skin. My skin is quite dry and I found this cream to be quite hydrating, and I don't have to use any other serums with it, as it gives me plenty of hydration and it barely has any scent at all, very light scent. I have been using this every day during the day with an spf on top to help protect my skin from the suns rays, even thought its winter, the sun can cause damage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dramsay82 from Soothing and smoothing day cream I was excited to try the Glow Lab Age Renew Soothing Day Cream, and was initially drawn to the fact that it claims to reduce redness which is something I experience a lot on my cheeks. This cream is 50g in size and comes in a glass jar with a rose gold lid. The texture is really nourishing and hydrating without being greasy or heavy. I actually found the texture of this cream was perfect for my skin, as many other anti-ageing creams can be too heavy or greasy. This day cream contains an impressive list of natural plant-based oils and anti-ageing antioxidants, as well as ingredients designed to reduce irritation. Since using it daily I have noticed that my skin feels smooth and comfortable, and I don't have itchiness or redness. This cream creates a lovely smooth canvas for perfect, even makeup application. It has a delicate but pleasant floral coconut scent which I really like. This is a day cream that I would add to my daily skincare routine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by curly_til from Easy to apply and smells delicious! The Glow Lab Age Renew Soothing Day Cream is a lovely consistency, spreads easily and my skin lapped up the moisture! The jar has a gorgeous rose gold lid and the protective layer inside ensures the product doesn't evaporate. It was kind to my dry, sensitive skin and the smell is divine, I could say almost chocolatey and deep. It had no chemical scent or feel and I love that this company doesn't test on animals or use animal products. I have no idea what MultiEx Rosanic is (highlighted as a main ingredient) but it sounds fancy and useful! Apparently 'anti-ageing' products should be used to prevent fine lines and wrinkles, so even though I'm not usually after these products it could be a benefit to add to my skin care regime. I do wish the product included an SPF coverage though. I would recommend this product for those looking for an easy, ethical day cream!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tigerlily from Silky smooth day cream I received a 50g jar of the Glow Lab Age Renew Soothing Day Cream as part of the Natural Beauty Month trial team. The packaging of this day cream is unexpectedly gorgeous. The day cream is packaged in a dark amber glass jar which is very thick and heavy with a copper/rose gold twist top lid and an internal plastic lid. The cream is white and quite thick, and is perfect for normal to dry skin. The box recommends for sensitive skin, and claims to reduce redness and smooth fine lines. I used this day cream after cleansing and applying serums in the morning. I found that it felt very silky and was easily absorbed. It does have a slightly tacky feel on the skin before it is fully absorbed. It has quite a strong floral scent, which is quite hard to describe so it may not suit sensitive noses. I have only used this day cream for about three days (I received the package late) however really enjoyed it and will continue to use this after the trial period. For a mid-range priced day cream, it contains some really good ingredients: Centella Asiatica extract, Licorice Root , Gingkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, Rosehip oil, and Matrixyl. Well worth trying to see if there are any long term benefits of using this cream.

This day cream is a light weight moisturiser which is perfect under makeup. It glides on really easily and soaks in almost instantly which is perfect when you are in a rush in the mornings. i have quite sensitive skin which can be problematic with different creams but this one has been great. i love that the brand is cruelty free and its a bonus thats its vegan too. The packaging is also quite stylish with a rose gold lid and heavy glass jar. It definitely stands out as a more high end product with the cream backing this up. I haven't used many glow lab skin care products but i'm keen to try some more after using this cream and the price point is pretty reasonable too for a quality product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by xCherrybliss from Soothing and Nourishing The Glow Lab Soothing day cream is formulated with sensitive skin in mind and is free from parabens, sulphase, siliicones, SLS, minteral oils etc. I personally have sensitive skin so I was excited to try this day cream because it works to strengthen the skin barrier and reduce irritation and redness. The consistency of the cream is very creamy but also has a watery feel to it. The black glass jar is heavy and feels very luxurious. I applied it on my dry sensitive skin and noticed that it was very soothing and comfortable. I didn't notice any breakouts and my skin stayed hydrated and supple throughout the day. In terms of the anti ageing properties, it's hard to comment on whether these were effective but I really enjoyed how nourished and soft my skin felt after using the cream. I also have the night cream from this range and can confirm they work great together.

As part of the trial team we were given a selection of products which are clean, green and sustainable. This day cream moisturiser was part of the trial and I was excited to try. I have used one other product from Glow Lab which I thoroughly enjoyed using and that was their night recovery cream. Glow Lab is a New Zealand brand which is vegan, cruelty free and dermatology tested. The product comes in a dark 50 gm glass jar and looks more expensive than what it actually is. You may be fooled to believe that it’s a high end luxury brand. Dark jars are reknown for keeping products protected from light so that the potency of the formula is not compromised. This product has a thick consistency and is said to improve moisture retention by 40% it’s said to reduce redness, smooth fine linesand is suitable for sensitive skin. I had only had the opportunity to use this cream a few times but I really like the feel on my skin. My skin felt more hydrated after one application and had a nice glow to it. Doesn’t feel heavy or greasy on this skin. I look forward to using this more long term and perhaps in conjunction with their night cream which I really enjoyed using previously. The product has no parabens, sulphates, phthalates, silicones, SLS, SLES, synthetic dyes, cocomide DEA, mineral oils and isn’t tested on animals. The product has MuliEx Rosanic TM and SymRelief TM which are said to strengthen skins barrier and reduce irritation and redness, UrbanEthic TM protects from environmental pollution. Matrixul synthetic 6 TM accelerates skin renewal and reduces the appearance of wrinkles. I look forward to using this more long term to see how my skin performs but so far I’m really impressed by its performance on my skin. It has a lux factor that doesn’t cost the earth. Love it!!

The Glow Lab Age Renew Soothing Day Cream was a surprise in the WOW category. In addition to first class ingredients like matrixyl synthe'6 (peptide), liquorice root extract, rosehip oil, betaine, shea butter, etc etc., the lightweight and silky smooth texture is a pleasure to use. Top that up with a rose gold lid and a heavy glass jar, in a blind test I would have thought this was a $80 cream. I used this day cream both day and night for a few days in a row and it was really lovely to use. It has a subtle fragrance coming from a blend of essential oils, but that fragrance can linger for sometime (it can be a love it or hate it scent). I did two layers at night just because it is winter, but this cream has a lovely lightweight texture that would be ideal for summer nights. I wish I have more time to trial this day cream properly before the review is due (we were only given 2 weeks to trial 4 face creams, so each cream gets 3 days!) . But this is certainly one that I will keep using.

The packaging was lovely in Glow Lab’s signature gold pot, it looks lovely on your bathroom vanity. It comes in a 50g tub which would last approximately 1 month so mid range value. The product is a cream although doesn’t feel thick and greasy on application. It is quick absorbing and leaves skin nourished and hydrated. Not sure that it reduces the appearance of wrinkles even after finishing the tub. I not sure I noticed any improvement in this regard, it did leave my skin feeling saturated with moisture which is always nice when lathering yourself with lotion. Great for before bed or straight after the shower. The scent is pleasant and not to overwhelming. Overall would recommend, as it does reduce irritation and redness visible on sensitive skin.

This is one of the nicest moisturisers I’ve used in a good while, and it has gone straight into work as my main day cream since first use. An opaque white cream presented in a snazzy jar, this just seems to have all the right things my skin wants. It smooths on easily and absorbs well, but still leaves that tiny bit of moisture on top of my skin to leave me looking and feeling plump and dewy. The packaging claims to reduce redness, smooth fine lines, improve moisture retention by 40%, and be safe for sensitive skin. I don’t think I have very sensitive skin, I definitely feel this product delivered on its claims. It also completely eradicated this odd dry spot I’ve had on my chin for several months. Really like this one and will likely repurchase.

Packaging Super cute - and clearly states what the day cream is designed to do - reduce redness, smooth fine lines and improve moisture retention by 40%. I also love that the box lists exactly what is not in it - no parabens, sulphates, silicones, synthetic dyes, or animal testing, to write a few. Day Cream Compared to my current facial moisturiser this day cream is noticeably 'cleaner' (less chemicals) - in both smell and texture. I love the scent of this cream - it's refreshing and a great way to start the day (after cleansing of course). A little goes a long way - some creams I've used in the past require you to use a lot just to get it to work, whereas this one is roughly the size of a finger tip to cover my entire face and neck. After use, and all day, my face is noticeably more hydrated than has been in the past with those same other products. Would I recommend this product? Absolutely! Thanks again BH!

The packaging is luxe and is glass, which I really appreciate. My only critique when it's a jar is I always worry about outside contaminants like the air / hands etc (I do use a little spatula) so I do my best to not contaminate. I find with day creams one of the issues is when I feel very greasy/sweaty by the end of the day caused by the cream, but I didn't find that happened with this one, which was such a pleasant surprise. Overall, I am super pleased with the itema nd will definitely be continuing using it after this trial.

The cream comes is a 50g jar and is jam-packed full of great antioxidants and anti-ageing ingredients. I have been using this day cream every morning for a few weeks and have noticed that my skin feels softer, smoother and more radiant already. I am pleased that this product doesn't contain chemicals and is made from natural ingredients. My skin feels less dehydrated and therefore my foundation and makeup glides on very evenly on top of this cream. The cream has a pleasant almost tropical scent that doesn't cause a rash or irritate my skin. I am excited to continue using this day cream to see the results of the unique anti-ageing ingredients and see the long-term benefits. This is a day cream that I would purchase again and again, as it suits my skin so well.

The cream comes in in glass jar which I much prefer to plastic and has a luxe looking rose gold lid. It has a pretty standard fragrance, nothing too offensive, and a rich creamy consistency. I am very wary of day creams as they often make me too oily and I can’t get through the day without washing it off my face, but I’m pleased to say this one absorbed well and didn’t create any greasiness. My skin was left feeling soft and smooth. I have very sensitive skin and I feel that this did actually do what the name suggests and was soothing. Having not had very long to trial it I couldn’t say what the long term benefits are going to be with regards to fine lines etc, but from the first day I could feel a definite improvement in my skin. I will be continuing to use this - although maybe it might be a little too rich when the hot weather eventually hits. Definitely recommend for people with sensitive skin.

I gently massage this cream in the morning after cleansing my face and neck. The Glow lab Age renew day cream is a rich yet lightly textured cream that absorbs in beautifully, whilst leaving a feeling of softness that lasts whole day.It has a luxurious feel when I applied it to my skin and feels very moisturizing and nourishing. The packaging comes with box and inside a 50g nice glass jar.The cream is pure white and a light texture. It is right consistency for day cream.First smell instantly reminded me white jasmine flower.How ever it has a nice floral calming scent which i really like. I do love that it is a blend of active anti-ageing ingredients along with super-hydrating botanicals. I haven't used it long enough to be able to speak for long-term age benefits, but I will continue to use it.I’d absolutely recommend this for any one who wants good hydration and soothing day cream.

Rated 5 out of 5 by S-P from Excellent Quality There are so many things I like about Glow Lab’s Soothing Day Cream. I like that it comes in a good sized glass jar and that it is vegan. I like the natural ingredients and that it’s made in New Zealand. It feels light and creamy and has a beautiful light scent. It absorbs very easily into my skin and does not feel greasy at all, and I only need a small amount so this jar will last a long time. I was given this cream to trial as part of Natural Beauty month and also had another day cream to trial so was not able to use this cream for very long, however I did notice that my skin felt softer, had a little more elasticity, and looked and felt hydrated. This is an excellent quality product and I’m very impressed with this cream’s effectiveness over such a short period of time. I’m looking forward to using it over a longer period of time.

As per the name, the cream claims to reduce redness and smooth fine lines to create younger looking skin. I have not been able to trail this cream for long enough to see a huge improvement however in two weeks I have noticed small improvements in my skins moisture retention and as a result fine lines have lessened. The jar is super sleek with a rose gold lid and black coloured glass. The cream does not contain any nasties and is vegan as well as recyclable. It is thin and easily absorbed into the skin. It does not contain any specific scent (which I personally love) and doesn't cause makeup to pill when applied over the top. The cream contains MultiEx Rosanic which is a blend of six plants developed for their anti-aging, anti-oxidant, anti-redness and anti- microbial (all great things for my face!). It also contains SlimRelief 100 which is designed to soothe and calm the sensitive skin.

I love that it has some peptides in it which are the big guns in skincare and anti-aging ingredients. This is an anti-aging formula - part of the Age Renew line of products by Glow Lab. I have been using a few of this line which I purchased from the Rewards Room and I'm so glad I've got to try this product too from the Natural Beauty Month 2020. The fact that it is labelled as a Soothing Day Cream has really got my attention because I've been looking for a soothing one for after some facial treatment and this one is of natural origins as well. Though it's a natural product it does not shy away from being effective and has some impressive anti-ageing ingredients in it. I like that because I wanted something that was natural but also worked to soothe and protect. This cream does those things - reducing redness and is made for sensitive skin but it also strengthens and is scientifically proved. I love it helps skin renew itself. This cream doesn't beat around the bush! The scent is very light and comes from a natural blend of essential oils. There is no SPF in this which I would have liked as I live in Australia and need it but this could be good to use underneath an SPF product and some people, I know, don't want SPF in their moisturiser so this is good for that. I love that this isn't greasy but very moisturising at the same time. There is no animal testing and no nasties in the making of this product. I love that it contains licorice extract in it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cathyartup from Flawless Skin I was really impressed by this soothing Day Cream from Glow Lab. First off looking at the box and seeing what is not in it was the so great. I like to use products with no Parabens or Mineral Oil and that are not tested on Animals and this one ticked my boxes and more. The cream is a lovely light texture with very little fragrance that absorbs straight into my skin and it paired really well with my serums and oils without pilling or balling up. This cream does what it says, reduces redness smooths fine lines and is non irritating for sensitive skin. I found my skin was a perfect canvas to apply my makeup to and looked flawless all day after using it. I am really happy to have trialled and found an anti-aging cream with no nasties that gives visible results. I will definitely be repurchasing this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by vision from Very soothing day cream Thank you BH for allowing me to trial Glow Lab Age Renew Soothing Day Cream. This is my new forever day cream. I have sensitive skin so I am always looking for products that do not irritate and live up to their claims. I was not disappointed with this cream. It comes in nice simple packaging and does not contain any nasty chemicals. It is not tested on animals which is a very big plus. From the first use my skin felt soothed and the redness has disappeared. I use this every morning after cleansing. It is also good under makeup and my skin feels moist all day. I will continue to use this cream. It has taken me a long time to find a product that suits my sensitive skin and also does everything it claims. It is priced well at just under$35 and is well worth it.
