The teardrop shape bullet makes applying extremely easy and precise. The lipstick lasted a few hours before having to reapply, however it didn’t look terrible when it was wearing off. This was a very subtle “your lips but better” colour that was very complementary to my complexion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot believe how soft and silky this lipstick is, whilst still been fully pigmented and matte. This Rimmel lipstick feels so luxurious on the lips - even nicer than some of my high end lipsticks! I really enjoy the shape of the bullet as it allows me to get a precise application. The staying power is great! I really like the way this lipstick fades and leaves an even stain. I highly recommend this lipstick!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long-lasting punchy pigmented colour [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a fan of Rimmel lipsticks so was pleased to receive the Rimmel London Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick in Crimson Desire (560) to review. Like the other Rimmel lipsticks I own, I'm pleased to say this one is just as long-lasting. It holds up through numerous drinks and even lunch, needing only a touch up to the centre of my lips. I found I could reapply where needed without having to remove all my lipstick and start from scratch. It's highly pigmented and the colour really packs a punch which I love. It wasn't drying, which was a concern of mine given it was a matte formula and I usually go for more creamy and moisturising products. Very easy to apply and I really appreciated the sculpted tip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hits the mark [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I loved the "no transfer" effect of long lasting liquid lipsticks, they certainly were drying... enter this Rimmel London Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick. It certainly hits the point of having a great colour pay off, and long lasting. It has a great matte finish, without feeling drying or cracking on your lips after an hour or so. While not "transfer" proof, the colour doesn't get too patchy after a meal or a few drinks. I'd certainly recommend to pair with the matching lipliner for the full long lasting, and even look. Definitely worth checking out at this fantastic price point.

The colour is highly pigmented, buttery soft and very hydrating for a matte lipstick. I used the matching lip liner which is a great neutral colour and it helped the lipstick stay put and not bleed around my lips. A beautiful reasonably priced matte lipstick that everyone should try. I can't wait to buy some of the other colours!

I tried out 'Lasting Finish Matte 730 Perfect Nude' and it was great all around. The finish is matte but certainly not drying. The colour is warming and classy but still looks natural. And it was long lasting. Team this with the lip liner and its gives this perfect polished defined finish. I got so many compliments when wearing it and no one believed me when i said it was Rimmel. I love it and have already send pics to my friends so they can get the same one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the perfect matte lipstick [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you to Beauty Crew for helping me find my new favourite matte lipstick. The Rimmel London Lasting Finish Matte lipstick in 160 Chestnut Rose and accompanying lip liner in 120 Pink Candy were both extremely easy to use. The Chestnut Rose lipstick glides on smoothly and unlike some other matte lipsticks did not make my lips feel dried out. This lipstick has a nice nutty/buttery smell with is easy on the nose and works well with the Pink Candy lip pencil. When it came to using the lip pencil it sharpens well (did not break while sharpening even once) and glides on smoothly. When it came to application of this lipstick, I found that the tear drop shape actually became very helpful as it allowed the lipstick to be applied around the perimeter of the lips using the sharper outer edges of the lipstick. Sometimes with a traditionally shaped matte lipstick there might be smudging at point of application, but the tear drop shape of the Rimmel Chestnut Rose lipstick is more helpful in this case. One of the things I am most happy with about this lipstick is how long lasting it is. At first choosing to wear this lipstick to work was a bit daunting due to being unsure of the staying power. However, Rimmel’s Chestnut Rose lipstick surpassed all my expectations...the colour lasted even through eating full meals, including burgers. Most of the time on average these two lip products together lasted 9 hours. On the subject of the bold lipstick colour surprisingly it got more compliments from customers then my usual lipsticks. Half a dozen female customers even asked which company the lipstick was made by. I found the lipstick and lip pencil combo was a great addition to my cosmetics collection and am planning to buy replacements soon for when these run out. My recommendation for this product would be to someone who is looking to have a boost of confidence, find a great matte lipstick duo or just up their lipstick game. Generally speaking, this lip range comes in various colours to suit many different situations, so it is not limiting to a particular age range.

The lipstick feels velvety smooth when applying and keeps my lips hydrated whilst also being matte! There is next to no transfer which I am thoroughly impressed with. I love the packaging it's sleek, feels high quality and I love that it has the colour band to show what the shade is. I would definitely recommend this lipstick to anyone and everyone

(Raises hand) Rimmel London’s lasting finish mate lipstick in mauve bliss 220 is one i had hoped I wouldn’t fall victim to again. First off, lets talk packaging. This sleek all black packaging with the slim line of the lipsticks shade around it is just beautiful and visually so appealing. I can see myself with a whole row of these and easily finding the colour i want without having to lift and look at the bottom label colour or checking the top through a clear lid to see the lipstick shade. Thank you! Now off to the design. The shape of the lipstick has a slight curve with a point tip making it a breeze to apply on to the lips. Following the natural curve meaning, more precise and perfect application, every single time. I simply cannot fault it and now just wish all my other lipsticks had the same shape to save me time. The colour and application, mauve bliss. You are just perfect. It is the kind of shade i could only describe as ‘my lips but better (MLBB)’. Where have you been all my life? It glides on so easily and smooth with a light shade that you can build on. I love that i can control how dark i want the shade to come off as it isn’t just dark straight off the first swipe. The lipstick has a familiar vanilla like scent that was quite pleasant. Final results and thoughts? Wore at the start of a typical 8 hour working day (from home) with meals and drinks in between. Pleasantly pleased and approve of the lasting finish claim it has. Colour has faded slightly and that was expected through eating meals and sipping hot tea but at the end of the day, still left a beautiful mauve tint as if i were still wearing the shade in a lip balm type product. Paired with Rimmel London’s lasting finish lip liner made all the difference and it was a match made in heaven. Would i recommend and repurchase? Matte lipsticks normally dry out my lips but not this one. I felt like my lips were better after using than when I applied it. The colour pay of is amazing and it lasts for hours. I was shocked at how easy it was to apply as it's not your average tip and I can't wait to buy more colors. I honestly recommend this lipstick to all my friends and family. It's great.

They can’t go to the end of the street without it, and one swipe of lipstick is enough to make them feel powerful, bold and ready to face the day. I’m not quite like that. Yes I love, adore and am passionate about all things beauty, makeup, skin care etc. But I don’t wear it every day, or every week, for my sensitive skins sake. When I do wear it, I need to have a reason, a purpose for it. Then again, in these weird, difficult and strange times, maybe a reason to wear makeup and feel special, even though I’m just at home in my pyjamas, isn’t necessary. I’m not normally a lipstick wearer but if I do decide to break open a tube and swipe some on my pout, I always go for the darker, sultry, vampy shades, such as this Rimmel tube of goodness in this gorgeous dark crimson. And I always go for matte too, so a double tick for me so far. It glides on beautifully and smoothly, even straight from the tube, though I always use a lip brush for the most precise application. I wore it with no other makeup, just fresh skin and it looked amazing. Rich, saturated, bold and sultry. It was very comfortable for a matte lipstick, like if I wore it all day my lips would never dry out. The packaging is lovely and the price means I could get every colour in the range and not break the bank. Nothing bad about this product, it’s all good and lovely and beautiful. Don’t wait for a special occasion or the right time or day to pamper yourself and feel special, the time is right here, right now and I can’t wait for another pamper session myself.

I tried Mauve Bliss, I’m quite fair with cool tones and it’s absolutely beautiful on. Perfect for Daytime looks and the colour is buildable if you were after a more dramatic look. The tube is a very unique shape that makes application seamless. You can absolutely get away with no lip liner as the shape makes the most amazing and accurate outlines! Usually I’m a mess but I get a perfect pout every time with this product! Staying power - it makes it to about lunchtime for me. Fades beautifully leaves a natural kind of look so I can get away without a touch up if I didn’t have time/want to.

It is long wearing, the colour stays vibrant and is now the lipstick I found I'm always reaching for when applying my make-up. The Rimmel London liquid lipsticks have been a favourite of mine for a long time but I've found that I'm loving this product even more. I definitely recommend the Rimmel London Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick as it is a great, long lasting, matte lipstick that is affordable.

When I applied the lipstick over a lipliner, the smooth lipstick did not bleed or smudge. It provided a full colour coverage that was true to the indicated color on the packaging. It left no dryness during the day and did not require addition lip conditioning to keep lips feeling moist. Although it did not last consistently through eating and drinking, it did not appear to leave big stains on the utensils like some lipsticks do. After reapplication, the lipstick remained consistent in colour for the remainder of the day.

It is creamy and goes on beautifully. I think this has to do with the shape. The curved edge makes application easy and the lipstick glides over the lip effortlessly. The slim shape is also great because it doesn't take up too much room in your purse.

For a start the packaging is nice and sleek, the price point is great and the colour looked fabulous. The curved design of the lipstick made it easier to apply, it did not dry my lips out and tbh it has great staying power and goes well with my skin tone. This lipstick has better pigment and is more long lasting than many more expensive brands on the market, so I highly recommend it. I will be sure to purhase other colours in the range.

I like that it is a wind up lipstick & the curved tip makes it so much easier to apply rather than a stick with a sponge tip. It has a nice creamy, velvety texture & is not drying like many matte lipsticks. I have found some long lasting matte lipsticks look & feel like there is no moisture in your lips ,like you want to lick your lips to hydrate , not comfortable at all , this is definitely not the case with this lipstick. It is lovely & moist & creamy. The shade I have is no 160 Chestnut Rose , a nice versatile colour .The lipstick is long lasting & lasted quite a few hours even after a coffee the colour is still there just faded a little. I will be buying a few more shades to try .

I received the colour mauve and it was a great colour that I believe would suit a lot of colour tones. Went with everything and most importantly it stayed on and for a matte lipstick, it actually doesn’t dry out at all. I was so impressed by this, I will be looking for more colours to buy and believe me I have a lot of lipsticks but will continue to go back to this for sure. Definitely would recommend for anyone wanting a great lipstick that does what’s it says!

It's not drying at all. It also glides very smoothly which makes application easy. I didn't mind the smell either. I really love this lip stick. I used "Chesnut Rose" and it works any occasion including every day. As soon as you put this lipstick on it makes you look instantly "put together". I would love to try other colours.

It is the perfect my lips but better shade for me. I am quite fair to light with neutral skin tones. It is a black matte tube with a 'Perfect Nude' colour band and is made in England. In the tube, the lipstick smells a bit vanilla but hardly discernible when applied on the lips. The lipstick felt really creamy when applied and did not feel particularly drying as some matte lipsticks can be. If it started to feel dry, I applied some clear lip balm on top. In fact, I felt like the lip stick felt more like a balm than a lipstick when applied. I didn't find it particularly long-wearing, requiring re-application after eating etc but this is not unusual. The uniqueness of the lipstick is that it is 'tear-drop' or pear-shaped so it helps target the cupid bow better on application. I didn't find it necessary to use a lip liner and didn't find that the lipstick feathered either. Overall a really great affordable matte lipstick. Great work Rimmel!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect Nude - A Very Pretty Matte Lippy Shade Powder soft and creamy to apply - this is one very gorgeous lipstick especially if you love mattes. It has a moisturising texture and so is not at all drying on the lips. I don't even feel the need to put a lip primer underneath this. It is a great price for the product - so value wise it is right up there. I wish that it had SPF in it so I suppose I've taken a star off for that - or for atleast not stating it if it does have some. It is a lightweight canister and the colour shown on the outside band of the container base is not really accurate as to the colour inside but it does give a hint that it's on the more neutral side. This neutral nude shade has a pinky base to it. Its called Perfect Nude. Not far wrong - it's pretty lovely nude shade. It lasts okay on the lips but I have other matte lippies that last a lot longer. If you are after a budget buy matte nude then this could be a fantastic buy for you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely matte lipstick [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all thank you to BeautyCrew and Rimmel for the opportunity to trial this product. I’m not normally a huge fan of matte lipsticks as they tend to be very drying and I don’t care much for the feel/texture of them. So I was pleasantly surprised to find the texture of these lipsticks to be smooth and creamy during application. They left my lips feeling hydrated and once applied it felt light and pleasant. The teardrop shape was a nice touch, it made application straight from the bullet easier. I loved how pigmented these lipsticks are, unfortunately though, they don’t have the greatest staying power. Overall, I was really pleased with these lipsticks and will continue to use them. I do also recommend them to anyone that is looking for a hydrating matte lipstick.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleasant surprise [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't normally wear matte lipstick as I find them dry but I was pleasantly surprised by this product. It glides on very easily and feels light. It has a nice taste and the colour range is really pretty. I'd like it to be a little longer lasting but that's my only negative. Will definitely buy again.
