HYDRATING BIODEGRADABLE SHEET MASK

Deliver visible hydration deep into the skin with our concentrated serum. With an active Bio-Marine Blend of Sea Algae, Hyaluronic Acid & Maize Complex to deeply rehydrate, leaving thirsty skin looking plump and radiant for 72 hours.

Our sheet mask is made with 100% natural Cotton fibres that will Biodegrade 6 months after use.

Directions

APPLICATION: Open packet, unfold mask and apply to your face. Leave on for 15 to 30 minutes and then gently remove. Massage remaining serum into your skin. Don't forget to recycle this packaging.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Refreshing mask I purchased this from a supermarket as it was on special. I love sheet masks but what drew me to this one is that it is 'biodegradable'. It's easy to use and apply, however instructions are that you keep it on "for 15-30minutes". I don't have 30min so just chose the 15min. It was lovely and cool and felt refreshing to have on. Has a very mild, natural fragrance. After the time elapsed, I removed the mask, massaged the leftover serum into my skin and applied my night time moisturiser. My skin felt good afterwards, not a dramatic improvement but I really enjoyed the process - stopping for 15min and just relaxing with the mask on. I like that the product is cruelty-free. Made in Taiwan in case you were wondering.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hydrating face mask I purchased this Sukin Deeply Hydrating face mask for 1/2 price at chemist warehouse. The first plus I noticed was that the packet is aluminum free and is recyclable and biodegradable and the sheet mask is also biodegradable. Once I opened the packet the mask was easy to unfold and was covered in a generous amount of serum, when I placed in on my face I found the sides too wide but not long enough for forehead to chin. I smoothed the mask down over my face and smooth as I could but felt the sides got wasted. There wasn’t a noticeable scent, the mask and serum felt nice and comfortable on the skin. The directions said to place on skin for 15-30 mins I felt like it was dry within 10 mins so there wasn’t any excess serum to massage in. Skin felt nice and soft and hydrated after I removed the sheet.

I found it was only 50% absorbed into my face after 30 minutes and I have dry skin, so maybe a full hour would be needed. There was so much solution left on the sheet that it was enough to rub into my whole body! The mask was generously sized and was a lot bigger than my small oval face. It also kept sliding down my face when I first applied it so I had to end up lying back. Not sure about this one as I found the solution left a tacky feeling on my skin that lasted well over an hour. Skin did feel a lot softer the next day for the whole day. The fragrance extremely light, unobtrusive but fresh and not unpleasant. Handy to have for a weekend getaway as you can just pop it into your handbag.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the best mask I had high expectations because I'm a fan of Sukin, plus the fact that it's a biodegradable mask is a bonus. However the cotton material of the mask doesn't sit on my skin. It didn't stick to my face, it kept sliding. The sides of the mask also wouldn't wrap around my cheek. The mask also didn't feel as hydrating as I would have liked. Unfortunately I think this is due to the cotton material.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Temporary effect The mask is as you expect, a great amount of serum on the mask. I applied it for half an hour and rubbed the remaining serum once I took it off. Skin felt nice and plump. For a product like this, I would expect to at least be able to get through the day without needed to layer on moisturiser. Probably 3 hours later my skin needed to be hydrated again so, unfortunately, it's not something I will purchase again.
