However the second time I went to use it, it had gone thick and gloopy and made a mess of my eyelashes, very disappointed

The mascara wand in this product is massive and doesn't spread the lashes at all, it's like doing your lashes with a loaf of bread. The mascara formula is even worse. It's far too wet and gets everywhere, dries immediately so when I run the wand over the same place (not a second coat just the first coat. a second coat is IMPOSSIBLE) it is immediately a clumpy mess! I have given it several chances, even with a wand style I like and it's a big no. If you want three fat lumpy lashes each eye, this is the perfect product for you. Spider lash paradise
