Rated 5 out of 5 by southcoastclare from Everyday Gente If you are looking for an everyday gentle and effective cleanser, then you’ve got to try Cetaphil’s ultra-gentle body wash refreshing scent. My entire family have been using this for a fortnight, and everyone from the teenager to the moody husband in our busy household is pleased with the results. The 500ml plastic bottle has a blue flip lid, which is easy to use in the shower while your hands a wet and slippery. I used the wash on a sponge to apply to my skin, the wash doesn’t lather up much, but along with the sponge application it was creamy and gentle on my skin. I’m not sure how to pinpoint the scent, it’s sweet but with hints of citrus but sort of soapy. I’d probably prefer for the wash to be scentless, but my husband really liked it with it. The smell slightly lingers for a little while after the shower, but quickly fades. My skin was left feeling gently cleansed and light, without any residue feeling of tightness or dryness.

It has a very nice scent, refreshing and instantly puts me in a good mood. Usually one squeeze is enough for me to shower and wash my face. This gentle white gel can be used to wash my face or body, I like it that I don't need to use a separate face cleaner, it is very gentle, my face feels comfortable and not dry at all, I still use moisturizer for my face and body after, but not drying out my skin is very important. My skin is sensitive, I have no break out nor itchiness after I use this product. I usually shower before I go to bed, the nice scent stays on when I sleep, it's a wonderful feeling going to bed smelling nice. I just love the gentleness and refreshing fragrance of this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by rufusbabe from Luxurious foaming body wash for sensitive skin Having never tried any Cetaphil products before I was intrigued about how this body wash was going to perform. I was very impressed to say the least! The bottle itself is sturdy with a strong flip-top lid that will not leak or break like some other brands I have tried. The packaging is simply designed with clear graphics that are easy to read and see on the shelf. The body wash itself is gel like consistency. I was a little unsure about the fragrance before trying it... what does a refreshing scent smell like exactly? However, upon using the product, I was pleasantly surprised. The smell is very refreshing - not sweet or floral smelling and would be suitable for both guys and gals. My husband was happy to use it which saves us having 2 different body washes in our small shower. I was very impressed with the foaming of this product too. I only used a very small amount on my shower puff and it foamed up like no other product I have tried before. The soap felt thick and luxurious. I will definitely continue to use it and hope Cetaphil release more scents in this product range so I can try them all. Highly recommended even if you don't have sensitive skin.

This is a new addition ( I am already a Cetaphil devotee) that features a fresh, floral scent that aims to gently lather and clean sensitive skins. Firstly, I noted that less common Cetaphil packaging (most of my Cetaphil washes come in pump packs) and this product comes in a shampoo-style bottle with a flip top cap. Easy to grip in shower yet not so cumbersome to pack for a road trip. I found the scent of the body wash aptly described, it's a great clean and uplifting scent that lingers very mildly after use. On application, the gel lathered easily and left my sensitive, eczema-prone skin clean, smooth and refreshed with no residue. It rinsed off easily. I also found this product to be excellent for shaving or used in conjunction with a loofah for exfoliation. I really enjoyed this body wash - its a bold offering from a brand that often is touted as 'fragrance-free'. Those who aren't sensitive to fragrance will love this formula.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Youarebeautiful from LOVE With Cetaphil’s skincare line being renowned for its simplicity and for being gentle on skin, I had high hopes for their new body wash line and it surely delivered on their reputation. First of all, the packaging itself was in an easily dispensable and easy to grab rounded shape. Only a small amount is needed to work it into a nice lather and the scent of the aloe vera was a pleasant yet unobtrusive smell that I loved but I could see it being a problem for those sensitive to fragrances. The consistency was akin to Cetaphil’s facial cleanser and I found it to be no nonsense effective body wash that did not leave my skin feeling dry or irritated but rather soft and moisturised. However, I found the price to be a bit too steep compared to regular body washes but its effectiveness yet gentleness would make me recommend this product to all skin types.

It leaves your skin feeling clean, resfreshed, and smelling really nice. It lathered up extremely easy and a small amount goes a long way! This is great cause it means you can get a lot of use out of it! I have used this product every single day while being part of the trial. In addition to smelling nice, my skin felt soft. I contacted the company to enquire whether there were any animal products used and if it’s vegan. This is because the ingredient of glycerin is used which could be plant based or animal. The company advised this product does not contain any animal derived products which made me happy because I am vegan. I like this body wash and I would recommend this to others also.

I hadn’t tried the brand Cetaphil before so was very happy that I was given the opportunity to trial the Cetaphil Ultra Gentle Refreshing Body Wash. This wash is made especially for sensitive, dry skin and does what it says on the packaging - cleans and freshens without stripping skin of its natural moisture. It left me feeling lovely and clean but at the same time was very gentle. After showering my skin felt moisturised and soft, not tight and squeaky like using an ordinary soap. It contains Aloe Vera and Vitamin B5 moisturisers to replenish the skin and It didn't leave a film or any greasy residue on my skin after I had washed it off. It comes out the bottle as a light pearlescent colour and is a nice consistency for applying without dripping everywhere in the shower. The wash doesn't lather very much but that doesn't really bother me as It does the job and I still feel clean. I absolutely LOVE the scent of this body wash. The 'refreshing scent' smells a bit like cucumber, watermelon and aloe vera. Certainly is nice and refreshing, I prefer it so much more than the flowery smelling washes. The squeezy bottle it comes in is an easy to handle shape and stands up nicely in the shower. I do prefer pump bottles for ease of use but this one is more convenient if you needed to travel with it. A great everyday body wash!!

The scent of it is really clean and fresh. It makes your skin really soft and smooth. My skin is normally very dry at this time of the year but with Cetaphil Body Wash my skin has never felt so good. I have my kids using this body wash and they love it too they have commented that the smell is nice and it makes their skin feel smooth and soft. my family and i use this every day and we do not find the scent over powering like other body washes. i would recommend this product to people with sensitive skin as it is perfect as it gives you that clean feeling without drying up your skin. i found that the bottle was well designed and easy to look at and read.

I currently use a great quality natural body wash so I was not expecting Cetaphil to be as good, or even better than what I’m already using. Cetaphil has a light pleasant smell, nothing strong or over powering. It comes in a sleek bottle that is both visually appealing and easy to handle in the shower. What is in side, is where things get exciting. Cetaphil is a well known brand for their quality ingredients and nourishing washes, moisturizer and body products. This one did not disappoint! My skin feels nourished and super soft after using consistently for several days. I have no dry skin and have felt less of a need for moisturizer straight out of the shower. It’s super easy to use, as with all body wash, a little in wet hands or on a sponge and lather. There is absolutely no residue left on the body after rinsing. Great product!

I simply adored this shower gel, it smells divine and I really appreciated the fact that it was a much thicker shower gel then I had ever used before. The smell was lovely too and it did not smell overly chemical. It seems to be a very natural product which is a great thing in my books. It was also very easy to apply and left my skin feeling refreshed and clean but with no greasy residue. The packaging was very easy to use and versatile as it is easy to keep in your bathroom or even take travelling if need be. I would definitely consider purchasing this product myself as my new shower gel as I felt it does a better job than my present one, especially when it comes to cleaning your skin. I also found it quite moisturizing on my skin too which was an added and unexpected bonus!

I love the handy pump bottle, it’s perfect for my shower nook and means no mess or waste and is neater than soap. It doesn’t strip my skin of natural oils like soap can, it’s gentle on skin including the face. At under $26.00 it’s well priced and lasts for ages. It has a really pleasant scent that lasts and it cleanses skin really well without leaving a dry feeling. I love cetaphil products, this is a trusted brand and I would recommend it

Rated 4 out of 5 by lindylou from Body wash for sensitive skins I received a sample size (50ml) of this although I’m not sure from where. I’m not necessarily the target market for Cetaphil products as I don’t have sensitive skin or skin problems. Cetaphil is an American company and their Australian products are not tested on animals, they sell in China and say that there animal testing is a legal requirement so if you are against a company doing animal testing in any country then this isn’t for you. This body wash comes in a flip top blue and white plastic container (recycle 2) with all the ingredients on it and an expiry date – not something you see on many body washes. It is a translucent gel (think runny Vaseline) with a pleasant scent, I’m not sure it is really a strong enough smell to ‘awaken my senses’. It doesn’t make a huge lather but it is enough to shave with. I did feel clean after using it but not really soft and replenished. I always use a body lotion after showering anyway so all I’m really looking for is a nice smell, cleaning and not drying. This does the last two but I prefer something with more smell so I wouldn’t particularly purchase this. However, I would recommend it for those with sensitive skins which is who it is aimed at.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Frenchy1 from Ultra Gentle Refreshing Wash I was given a sample bottle of Cetaphil Ultra Gentle Refreshing Body Wash and I was surprised by how much I like it. I tend to stay away from products with SLS as it can irritate my sensitive skin, but as this wash is designed for dry, sensitive skin it did not make my skin react. The white bottle had a flip lid and the first thing I noticed was a soft cucumbiller/ aloe scent that I liked. When applied to a shower sponge the wash foamed to a soft lather. On the skin it gently cleaned and left no film after rinsing. The scent does not stay on the skin noticeably after rinsing. My skin felt clean and refreshed but not dry or stripped. I will be purchasing the full size of this product.

Cetaphil is a well known and trusted brand when it comes to gentle and moisturising products and I have used it in the past with this in mind. The bottle is a generous 500ml size which is sturdy and somewhat bulky. It comes in the distinctive but plain packaging characteristic of the brand. It has a flip lid and you need to squeeze reasonably hard to get the cleanser out, which with one hand isn't particularly easy because of its weight. The cleanser is creamy and thick and smells really lovely. It is a refreshing fragrance which I really liked. It smoothed over the skin and lathered well leaving my skin feeling really smooth and moisturised. As with most other cleansers, this was gentle enough to leave my skin soft and supple, not dry and itchy. I love the cleanser itself, but have to admit that the packaging could be improved. i think a pump style bottle would be much more user friendly!

The bottle itself even full was nice and light not too heavy to carry around. I like the gel-like texture to it and its lovely refreshing, fresh scent (citrus like) which, wasn't too heavy and didn't linger too long making it great to pair up with a scented body lotion or creme. It lathers easily and covered my whole body with very little product to use. It hydrated my skin and kept it look fresh and moisturised for hours. My skin felt soft and smooth. My skin didn't itch and wasn't scaly. Overall it was a great product to use and perfect for those with dry, irritated skin. I would reuse this again say after the gym or on a hot day to keep my fresher for longer.

Cetaphil is a well know brand and their range is known for being kind to irritable skin. This body was is the 'refreshing scent' which I think would be perfect for use after the gym. The product itself is very thick. This is a good feature of the product as it is thick enough to cling to your skin before it washes away in the shower. The product comes in a rather large bottle with a flip top. Annoyingly though the hole in the top of the bottle, I think is too small to effectively squirt the product out. I had to squeeze the bottle quite hard. The body wash worked well and left my skin clean and smelling nice and fresh. It is not the most gentle product and I think if your skin was being particularly reactive it would not be suitable.

Because of this, I generally don’t like to try new products, instead sticking with the ones that I know work for me (currently the sukin sensitive skin body wash). But I was excited to join this trial as I have used cetaphil products in the past and really liked them. I’ve given this product 4 stars, because it is a nice product that gets the job done, but there is no wow factor for me. The scent is okay, a little too much for me personally, but something that I can live with. A big positive for me is that I haven’t experienced any discomfort or irritation using this body wash, so I would say that it is suitable for sensitive skin. For the price I think it is a good option for a body wash, but I’m on the fence about repurchasing myself. It is bigger and cheaper than my current body wash, but the scent is a little overwhelming for me. I’ll use the rest of this bottle and if I’m used to the scent by then I will repurchase.

The cleanser comes in an easy to dispense flip top container and has a gel like consistency. The gel has a very fresh uplifting scent which is not too overwhelming and can be used by both male and female. The cleanser contains aloe and vitamin b5 to help soothe and nourish the skin and is suitable for dry/sensitive skin types. The cleanser doesn’t lather in a very foamy way however it does a nice job to clean the skin without it feeling stripped or dried out. Skin is left feeling clean with no heavy residues or feel tight and stripped. I really enjoyed using this cleanser. It has a good price point and cleans and nourishes the skin. Cetaphil is a brand generally recommended by dermatologists because of their ph balance level products. I highly recommend this cleanser and would re-purchase again in the future.

Initiallyi loved the smell of this product and agree it has a refreshing scent. However, after applying to my body with a loofah and wash cloth, I found it to be quite odd and chemically. The 500ml product is fantastic but would prefer it to have a pump so I don’t have to pick it up off the floor to open and squeeze. I have bad Keratosis Pilaris and was hoping this would minimise this. It hasn’t made a dramatic change but I must admit there is a small change and calms down my skin. I love using this after a workout as I definitely feel fresh after washing myself with this. I will continue to use this to monitor how my skin goes and I think this is a product that will become part of my normal routine. Cetaphil is a great brand and trust this product will benefit my skin in the long term.

As someone who came out of this winter very dry and scaly I leaped at the opportunity to trial this new body wash. The packaging admittedly is a bit of a letdown. It is very basic and looks like something I would skip past on a shelf. Though if this packaging was exclusively for this trial I will forgive that. The product itself is a plain white colour, which is good because to me it shoes there are no nasty dyes added. The consistency is nice and thick, though not so thick that you struggle to get it out of the bottle. The big feature of the product, its refreshing scent, is just that. It is a pleasant scent without being an assault on the senses. The body wash lathers like a champion. One small squirt was enough to coat my body. I was left feeling clean and refreshed without feeling stripped or itchy. When I dried off I was still left feeling clean and soft. Overall this is a great product I would recommend to anyone with sensitive skin and I will continue to use this product after the trial.

I really enjoyed using this shower gel and I was really impressed with how nourished my skin was after a week of using it daily. The product comes in a sleek bottle with a flip top lid, which makes it easy to dispense the product out without spilling it. I really liked the scent, it wasn't overpowering and it left my skin with a fresh scent. The gel consistancy is thick and a little bit goes a long way. It forms a nice lather with a sponge. My skin immediately felt nourished after using it in the shower. It didnt leave any greasy film or residue too. After a week of using it daily, my skin improved in appearance and felt less dry and flaky. Overall, I'm very pleased with the results, and i would definitely consider purchasing Cetaphil Ultra Gentle Body Wash.
