Directions

Shake well before use. Apply a pea sized amount to the back of your hand and blend into your face using your fingertips or a brush. Start in the area you wish to have the most coverage and blend outwards. TIP: Try L'Oreal Paris Prime Lab Derm Primers before applying foundation to minimize pores and shine.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have tried this foundation before and at the time I tried it , I wasn't happy using it. When asked to test the foundation I was excited to try it again. I'm super happy that I was able to find a shade that suited due to being quite pale. The product was easy to use and blended really well using a beauty blender especially if you have used primer before use as recommended. The finish was matte but it didn't have that dry look to it. I wore this foundation during camp and it stayed on all day even after being splashed with water. I would definitely use it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As a foundation snob who usually only wears high-end foundation, I was really impressed with L'Oreal Infallible Matte Foundation. While I didn't need to wear it for the full 24 hours, it lasted an entire day and was completely transfer proof which I loved - no leaving marks on my boyfriends shirt after a hug! I really like the full coverage finish, and could easily wear this without concealer as it covered my dark circles on its own! I used the shade "Honey" which was perfect for when I have a spray tan.\n\nThe lightweight tube is also a huge plus, as its easy to travel with and I know I can snip the tube when its nearly finished to get out the rest of the product!\n\nI deducted one star as I prefer a dewy formula on my skin and it truly is a very matte finish - but as a makeup artist, I would happily use this on my clients with oily skin to prevent shine all day long.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have combination/oily skin and so I tend to go for more matte finish foundation, this foundation was perfect for that! It had a nice soft matte finish that lasted throughout the day, with a medium coverage that did not fade. The only two issues I had with this foundation was the colour range (I had to mix two shades to get a perfect match) and the blendability of the formula. It is a light liquid formula, but I felt that because it was so matte, it took a lot longer to work into the skin without looking patchy. However, this was easily solved by using some hydrating setting spray. Overall, this is a nice, longwear foundation that holds up to its "matte" name and is highly recommended for oily/combo skin girls!

At this time of year, I did find it to be a little but drying, but true to it’s name, it did stay matte. I wouldn’t use this foundation every day because i don’t personally feel that it offers enough coverage, but I will definitely wear it for those no makeup makeup days.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I am currently using the L’oreal 24h Matte foundation and have been quite surprised by it. I normally use a dewy foundation but the Matte finish was nice. It isn’t thick and doesn’t show my pores, it isn’t streaky and lasts me the whole day although I haven’t excercised with it on. Occasionally I suffer from break outs however so far haven’t while using this foundation. I have a patch of dry skin on my chin and I wouldn’t recommend it for really dry skin as it doesn’t have much moisture. Overall I am very happy with this foundation and next I will try the Fresh wear foundation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So happy to finally try out this foundation as I never bought it because it's quite expensive. This foundation has medium coverage and it was a bit difficult to blend because I found the application with a beauty blender and brush somewhat patchy and streaky. I found I had to use both and mix in another foundation. The foundation also highlighted some dry areas on my face so I had to moisturise really well beforehand. However, the foundation did leave a matte finish and it felt very silky on my skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Having recently run out of a competitors version of a Matte finish foundation, I was delighted to review this product. I don't go for a shiny/dewy finish to my foundation as I suffer sometimes from oily skin, so this suited my skin type perfectly. I enjoyed the texture and found it extremely easy to apply with a brush or just with the fingertips. If I would improve this product in any way, it would be to embed a moisturiser that finished with a matte finish also, as it did dry my skin out by the end of two weeks trialling the product. I would continue to use it despite this however!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is an awesome matte foundation without the cakey finish. I was able to get my exact shade which is always a big plus. I use a hydrating primer which I think helps with the overall look. I apply the foundation with a buffing brush and it blends easily. In terms of longevity, In was surprised at how few touch ups I needed while I was working. The only let down was that it didn't last as long if I was out on a hot day and got sweaty - which lost a star. Otherwise, I really like this foundation for a drug store brand.

It spreads easily and gives me a lighter coverage which I prefer for a more natural look. I find this product lasts really well on my skin all day without going oily. I tend to have an oily tzone and this foundation controls that really well. It gives a nice matte finish and even texture, it hides any imperfections without a nasty heavy casket makeup look. It feels nice and light to wear and I love the handy tube which makes it super easy to apply. I find I don’t need to use a lot so I feel the product is quite economical. I really love this foundation, it’s easy to find a perfect match for all skin tones and it gives skin a nice glow. I would purchase this again and highly recommend it

I found the foundation to be nice on my skin with that lasted a day with minimal touchups. The foundation is buildable and spreads nicely across the skin. I like that the packaging is travel friendly and you can control the amount you wantto use with the slim nozzle. I think a larger shade range would be helpful as I found I could be between certain shades. \n

Luckily the shade range was quite good, and I got the exactly correct match (12 Natural Rose) for my skin! I already use a matte foundation so I was excited to see how the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Matte Foundation would compare, and I was pleasantly surprised! The tube itself is a great size, perfect for travel and with a nozzle head which enables you to determine exactly how much you want to use. The foundation is on the lighter side but with good coverage and a little product goes a long way! I wore a full face all day and while there was a little shine that came through on my chin - the foundation lasted really well and didn't move throughout the day. \nOverall: definitely recommend for anyone wanting a good coverage, matte foundation! \nTip: Make sure to shake well before use. \n\n

I didn't test a full 24hours but lasting through the work day is a win from me. I prefer this packaging to a pump bottle as it's easier to transport in your makeup bag and still simple to apply to brush or beauty blender and with less wastage. \nThe foundation is a matte finish, blends well without feeling too heavy. I used a powder finish and there were no cakey areas. Great price point too. \n

I gives a buildable medium to full coverage and it blends out easily too. \nI like the tube packaging as it’s easy to use and it’s light so it is good to travel with. \nThe formula is lightweight and it didn’t feel heavy on my skin. I found that it wore quite well throughout the day, but my skin still became slightly oily on my t-zone. My skin stayed matte on my cheeks all day though. \n

It has a buildable coverage that felt very lightweight once on. I found I needed a powder on top however to get me through to the end of the day. A primer also helps. To be honest\nI prefer the more dewy version on my skin, but this one was great too. The colour range is large and great, and the shade blends so well into my skin. The matte was probably slightly to dry for me but I can imagine it being a beautiful finish for anyone with oily skin. This foundation is a medium coverage but you can build it up or down, which I love, and it does last all day which is great as it claims. I also loved it’s squeezable & lightweight packaging - so cute and convenient and I wish the dewy version came like this. Definitely would recommend to anyone who prefers a matte finish - delivers on exactly what it claims and leaves a beautiful finish \n

The formula is quite light and the overall finish was great it does not cake in any way and it went on really smoothly. The coverage was a little disappointing though. It's definitely on the side of full coverage so credit for that, but I could still see spots through the foundation.It wears pretty well and looks amazing usually matte foundations even feel quite dry but this was amazing.

First of all, it truly is mattifying - I had no oily skin issues when I applied this product. Secondly, there is a huge range for every skin color, so once you have found the correct shade, it blends in to skin smoothly. And thirdly, it lasts forever, I never use a lot of foundation, so mine lasted for month and months. And lastly, the packaging was perfect - I never had a problem with too much foundation coming out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I found this foundation easy to apply as it has a creamy texture that blended well.  I was also able to easily build up coverage where I needed a little bit extra.  It felt lightweight on my skin, I didn't even notice it was on, nor did it budge throughout the day.  I have dry/normal skin, so I applied moisturiser on before the foundation and found no issues with the foundation at all, there was no cakey parts and it stayed as a lovely matte finish. It was easy to remove and I would definitely be using this as my regular every day foundation.  Excellent colour match also.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This really is truly a “matte” foundation, and it may be a bit drying for slightly more mature skin like mine. It can also settle in fine lines, if you unfortunately have them! I would describe my skin type as normal - combination during this time of the year. Therefore I wanted a long-wearing foundation, mainly because I don’t find foundation lasts very long on my complexion. This L’Oréal one comes in a handy squeezable, lightweight tube, so there is no mess or spillage. It has a light cream texture, that provides full coverage, and is best applied quickly with a foundation brush or slightly damp makeup sponge. The reason I recommend you apply this foundation quickly is because is can set pretty quickly and therefore the application can look uneven, streaky or caked on if you don’t work quickly.\n\nThere is a good choice of shades available in the range, and most shades look natural too. But I think if you have dry or mature skin, then I don’t really recommend this foundation, however if your skin is combination to oily and you want a truly matte long-wearing foundation then this product is perfect for you! The formula is pigmented, and a small amount goes a long way. If you apply too much, it does look like you’re wearing a mask, and this is especially obvious in photos! Therefore I recommend applying a small amount and only applying an additional layer if you want maximum, full coverage. \n\nThis foundation does last all day long without smudging and I tend to get facial sweating during hot days, but I am pleased that this foundation seems to resist sweat too. It is a good product if you want that powdery matte finish, however I doubt I will repurchase this foundation as I would prefer something with a bit more moisture and hydration.\n\nI give this product 4 out of 5 stars.\n

It blends out beautifully and provides amazing coverage. It does dry quickly so you'll need to work quickly once you've applied it to get a flawless finish. The fact that it's matte is great in the summer as it really helps to keep oil at bay.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I recently found myself in a bind when travelling when I unexpectedly ran out of foundation and couldn't find a replacement for my usual. This is when I came across this product. I chose this foundation due to it, firstly being matte and a full coverage product and secondly, due to its claim of being a long wearing 24-hour foundation.\n \nI have found L’Oréal foundations to be hit and miss in the pass with some being great on my skin and others really not working for me, so I usually try to research a product before buying however, in this case, I was going in blind.\n \nFor a quick background...My skin complexion is normal, I can occasionally get some dry patches around my nose, but I do not suffer from any oiliness even. Due to this I am usually able to wear a lot of matte and dewy foundations without a problem.\n \nNow onto the product!\n \nThe product itself comes in a simple tube which is great as you have more precise control of how much product you use so you don't waste any. The Packaging itself is nothing overly special but it is simple and you can clearly see the information you need.\n \nThe formula of the foundation is quite runny for a full coverage foundation, but I found this made the product very easy to work with and blend when on my skin without compromising the coverage. The application of the product is very smooth with a brush or beauty blender. It dries rather quickly (not unusual for a matte foundation) but gives plenty of time to blend it out. This is definitely a matte foundation, but I have found that it dries down to a more natural matte finish without making you face appear flat in colour as some others do. It regards to coverage, I would say I needed two coats for the product to be completely full coverage. With one coat, it would be more like a high medium. I didn't mind this as the foundation itself layers very well without appearing cakey. One more point to note, is that in my opinion the product did not have a strong fragrance at all which is good for people who are sensitive to products that do.\n \nI was very impressed with the wear of the product. I found that it lasted throughout the day without becoming patchy. I wouldn't agree with the claims that it lasts 24 hours, but it did last around 10 before wearing off. I did find that if I had any dry patches when wearing the product, it would cling slightly to those areas, so I would recommend exfoliating where possible to ensure a smooth application.\n \nOverall, I liked this product a lot and since returning from my travels have continued using it. I have nearly finished the tube and would absolutely consider repurchasing. I would recommend this product to those who have an oilier or normal complexion as this will mattify your skin without being too drying. This is now one of my favourite matte drugstore foundations.\n \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like to use this foundation in the summer as it is matte and keeps my face looking shine free all the day.  The foundation goes on smoothly but using my foundation brush I blend it nicely with my skin as it can come off a bit streaky.  Make sure you do it as soon as possible because I noticed that it dries rather quickly.  In terms of longevity it does last for quite awhile and even with humidity and sweat it does a good job of holding up.  The coverage is medium and is alright in terms of covering up imperfections but I would still have to use other products, such as concealer, to cover blemishes or pigmentation.

I have olive colour skin and this L’Oréal Paris Infallible Matte Foundation had only limited number of shade. Picked the one that had the closed shade to my skin colour and used it. I love how smoothe it applied and how flawless my skin looked. Such a gorgeous foundation. And it did stay for over 8 hours without making my skin oily. Really liked this foundation however I gave it three stars because I couldn’t wear it without mixing with a another foundation. They need to introduce more shades

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Worth a try! I really wanted to love this and for this to my every day foundation however it just missed the mark! I loved the consistency and texture of the product and really enjoyed using it. I found that it was a little less fuller coverage than I wanted however I do use a damp sponge so I do know this shears the foundation out slightly. The down side for me was that the colour choices were slightly off. I have quite light olive skin and found all shades more on the pink side. I could make it work with bronzer and darker powders. The other problem I had with this foundation is that it blocked my pores and got a lot of bumps on my fore head. As soon as I stopped wearing the foundation my congestion disappeared. I think for the right skin tone and texture the foundation would be great, it just was not the one for me! I think the price point it is worth trying to see if it works for you.

Its nice how the foundation feels light like second skin when it settles & doesn’t cakes at all but I wouldn’t recommend this for dry & combination skin as my dry cheeks felt powdery dry with the pores popping more prominently.

On its own it was very streaky and hard to blend. Using fingers to apply worked well, but after a few hours I looked quite Orange. \nI used a hydrating primer which worked better, but best results were with MAC strobe cream and a moist beauty blender. \nCoverage was really good. For me it’s more of a ‘going out’ foundation, because I found it too heavy and too much work to apply every day. \n

I also found that there isn’t a great shade for me with a medium/light skin tone. Overall I think there are better foundations you could get at the drugstore, but if you have dryer skin this might work for you.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unfortunately this was not the foundation for me. I really liked the squeezable tube it comes in and it is quite controlled for the amount of product required. This foundation goes on quite crumbly and requires quite a lot of work to spread it out for an even application. It didn't keep me matte for very long and was transferable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I was given this foundation as a trial product in shade 24 Golden Beige. This foundation is a bit hit and miss for me. The shade is a good match for my skin tone (half Asian) but I realised I have to use a light touch with this. Apply too much and you look like I got mess by the end of the day. Coverage was decent, only slightly oily in the t-zone at the end of the day. I don’t think I would recommend this product only because I feel that you need to pay attention to how much you apply.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It is a decent foundation, It is lightweight and mattifying, it has a good coverage and doesn´t give that cakey look. However, it was not long-lasting for my type of skin (combination skin), only some hours I would say. It looks better and lasts longer using a primer first. I am a bit disappointed about the long lasting effect...maybe it will have better results for other type of skin or weather.
