Directions

Shake well before use. Apply a pea sized amount to the back of your hand and blend into your face using your fingertips or a brush. Start in the area you wish to have the most coverage and blend outwards. TIP: Try L'Oreal Paris Prime Lab Derm Primers before applying foundation to minimize pores and shine.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unfortunately this was not the foundation for me. I really liked the squeezable tube it comes in and it is quite controlled for the amount of product required. This foundation goes on quite crumbly and requires quite a lot of work to spread it out for an even application. It didn't keep me matte for very long and was transferable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I was given this foundation as a trial product in shade 24 Golden Beige. This foundation is a bit hit and miss for me. The shade is a good match for my skin tone (half Asian) but I realised I have to use a light touch with this. Apply too much and you look like I got mess by the end of the day. Coverage was decent, only slightly oily in the t-zone at the end of the day. I don’t think I would recommend this product only because I feel that you need to pay attention to how much you apply.

However, it was not long-lasting for my type of skin (combination skin), only some hours I would say. It looks better and lasts longer using a primer first. I am a bit disappointed about the long lasting effect...maybe it will have better results for other type of skin or weather.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This foundation comes out quite nicely, it's not too thick or too watery. It's quite pigmented but was a little hard to spread without it just smearing around.. less is more in this case unless you use a beauty blender and you can press it in for a bit more coverage without it streaking. The finish is nice, for all the spreading issues I had it dried to a powdery matte finish and it felt great. It made my skin feel quite hydrated and soft as well. I didn't really have much meltdown/caking throughout the day, it also didn't breakdown in patches. I definitely felt this foundation covered my redness and blemishes, but it clung a bit to existing pimples making them look overly dry. I also noticed I wasn't as oily in my t-zone by midday.\nIf you set this with a light dusting of powder to not over accentuate the matteness of this finish it can last longer.\nI would recommend giving this a go as a great priced foundation that wears well. I just couldn't avoid it settling and greasing into my skin too much. A plus it didn't break me out.\n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Packaging for this product is very travel friendly.\nWhen I've seen YouTube's use this , they love it.\nUnfortunately I have combo skin and from my own experience I found the foundation wore off around my mouth and chin 1 hour.\nI wore nice on the areas that don't move much.\nThe colour wasn't the best it oxidized more pick toned, when the colour was very yellow to start\n\n

However, I did not find this product to be particularly cake-y or drying. It sat nicely on my skin and did not cling to any dry patches. But it did not last very well throughout the day, especially when I was sweating on a hot day or if my skin was being particularly oily. \n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I liked this foundation.  The texture is rather thick so I had to work quickly to blend the product.  I found a good color match and this is definitely more matte than a standard foundation (I've got combination skin with an oily t-zone). But I didn't find it long wearing, and would need to touch up throughout the day.  I also felt the product didn't stretch very far,  I ran out quicker than I would other foundations but I didn't use it more than I normally would.  I found it applied better with a buffing brush than a makeup sponge. Overall I thought it was ok but did not repurchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I'm a big fan of loreal Paris products, they're affordable, they have pretty packaging and scent, they just look so good on my dressing table or bathroom vanity or in my makeup bag, and they work pretty much 99.9% of the time. Unfortunately, this foundation fell in the 0.1% of the doesn't work part of the category. It does have good points, including the brilliant packaging, which ensures the perfect amount every time, no wastage and fits nicely in my handbag, the price is very reasonable for the generous size of the tube and the finish is very matte, as the pack says and definitely lasts all day long until my double cleanse at night. But the things I don't like, which loses it two stars in my review, is the colour I chose, which was the lightest they offered as I'm super fair and pale, was too dark for me, which considering loreal usually is a spot on colour match for me, is disappointing. It also was very hard to blend, even when I used my fingers and finished with a brush, I still ended up with obvious tide marks that gave me a mask like finish, not what I want from my foundation. It definitely has good points, but those two bad points I have are enough to prevent me from buying it or using it again. Loreal, I am worth it, but not with this foundation.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from First impressions of this product where that the packaging is great (I love the squeezy tube) and it has a good consistency. Initial application using a brush was streaky. I have combination skin and found it clung to my dry patches making them more prominent. It also wore off quite a bit throughout the day. After a few more uses I would suggest application with a sponge as it wasn't streaky this way. I still didn't find it that long lasting and it continued to emphasize my dry patches. I would recommend this foundation for someone with oily skin, not combination.

The foundation was quite pricey for a regular plastic tube no pump. I selected the lightest shade but still was too dark. The foundation seemed very yellow toned than regular ones. I would reccomed other cheaper foundations such as DB 24 hour long lasting foundation more.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointing This new 32hr foundation replacement does not even come close to being as good as the old formulation. Within a few hours my face is shiny and in need of blotting and also separates on my skin. I do not have oily skin and yet this makes its appear very oily. I loved the 24hr Matte Cover foundation and it was my daily go to for years, staying matte all day with no touch ups required. Please bring back the old one!

I was only able to try the shade 'honey 30' as it was the darkest available to me and was no where near my skin ton which sits around mid range of any good foundation. In terms of wear and finish I found it to be too cakey and drying for my liking however it does provide a very full coverage. I have combination skin and this may be why it was too cakey however for a shorter wear time and different skin type it may be of use to other people. \n\n

I would not recommend this foundation - by the end of the day, the foundation was separating on face and no longer looked matte
