Directions

Shake well before use. Apply a pea sized amount to the back of your hand and blend into your face using your fingertips or a brush. Start in the area you wish to have the most coverage and blend outwards. TIP: Try L'Oreal Paris Prime Lab Derm Primers before applying foundation to minimize pores and shine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All my friends speak highly of L’Oréal Infallible Matte Foundation so I decided to try it. The foundation gives medium coverage with one layer and is buildable to full coverage if needed but I'm happy with medium coverage. This foundation doesn't look cakey, is definitely long lasting and holds the makeup in place throughout the day. However, I have dry skin so this foundation does give me creases after few hours every with hydrating primer as base.

The only problem is that I can’t tell if it’s breaking me out or not. I will have to continue testing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I wasn't sure if I'd like this tbh because it's what my mum uses and I wasn't sure how I felt about using the same foundation as her but I actually really liked it.  \nI only applied a small amount but I still got even skin tone and good coverage out of it and it's definitely buildable. \nI ran out of primer so I didn't use any obviously but in saying that I didn't need to, my skin looked smooth and pores either were "erased" or made to look smaller, also the colour matched me perfectly which was surprising because I usually find brands like this don't really have the right colours for pale skin. \nI also get scared of not using High end brands in case they break me out but that also didn't happen. \nIt's a really good matte foundation that lasts a long time before any oil starts to show.  \n\nI'll definitely be using this on the regular and telling people about it if they need a new foundation. \n

What made me love this product was it’s skinfeel. Unlike other foundations, this foundation stayed put, and feels like skin - it doesn’t come off on your fingers or feel powder-y when you touch your skin. It stayed matte, even on top of sunscreen. \n\nPackaging was good too - light and transportable for makeup on the go as well. The product is a little bit runny, so I did find I squeezed out too much product at times. \n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The L'oreal Infallible Matte Foundation has become one of my new favourites! I received the shade Porcelain which was a perfect match. The foundation came in a squeeze tube that made it easy to control the amount of product you would like to use and it had a slightly runny consistency. It blended so beautifully with a beauty blender and layered extremely well. I found the coverage to be medium but was buildable to a fuller coverage. The finish produced a soft matte look on the skin, it didn't cling to any dry patches, was not cakey and masked the appearance of redness/pores. It was so weightless and comfortable on the skin to the point where I would forget that I was wearing foundation! The longevity was amazing, it lasted up to 10 hours on my skin and only then was I beginning to produce oil. It did not transfer or fade throughout the day. The foundation suited my concerns as it was long lasting and matte, a perfect match for oily skin. I would recommend this to others with oily skin or those looking for a medium-buildable, long lasting matte foundation.

I live a busy lifestyle working 9 hour days then going straight to the gym after work and always go with my makeup on for a confidence boost. I didn’t think this foundation would last throughout the whole work day let alone through my gym session but boy was I wrong. The foundation was still going strong after a sweaty class. Think this is my new trusty go to

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great budget foundation. I have very pale skin and  find it very difficult to find a good colour match especially with matte finish as it can end up looking chalky. I was pleasantly surprised with the L’Oréal Paris Infallible 24H Matte Foundation I trailed shade 10 porcelain and the colour is a pretty close match first time. I used it straight from tube and did find it a little chalky however now I mix in a little facial oil and it creates a beautiful satin finish. I didn't test the full 24 hour staying power however it got me through the work day and that's good enough for me. I love the packaging, the tube is light so doesn't weigh down makeup/hand bag and it easy to dispense even the smallest amount of product which is great when you only want strategic coverage. I was so impressed I have now tried other L'oreal foundations and use BB cream for lazy weekend days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Okay so I absolutely ADORE this foundation. Holy grail for those of us who suffer with oily skin. For a Matte foundation it didn't look caked and it still kept a glow. It didn't dry skin out either. The coverage was perfect too. Covered imperfections and it still gave a natural look and didn't get oily and gross! It also didn't feel like I was wearing a full face of make-up which I loved. I wore it out for a day (it was warm) and it stayed on, didn't look horrible at the end of the day and my skin didn't need blotting papers.  I am converted. Loved it. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a medium coverage foundation with oily or combination skin. It was lovely. I would buy it for sure.

I usually prefer a matte finish but some formulas end up accentuating dryness. This one wasn’t drying at all! A little went a really long way and it appied beautifully with my regular foundation brush. It’s a great alternative to some of the more expensive matte foundations that have been my go-to’s over the years - I’ll be putting this one in regular rotation!

I have combination skin and get very oily on and around my nose. This foundation keeps me matte throughout the day and is very long lasting. It's a full coverage foundation without leaving me looking cakey. If you like matte foundation for a good price then this is the foundation for you. Very happy with it and will definitely purchase.\n

My skin looks super smooth and I love the matte finish, especially for someone like me who has quite oily skin. I’m not a high coverage girl either, so I like that medium coverage as well, makes me look more natural. All around very impressed with this product.

Some products cause lines and dryness to my skin in certain areas which is why I was very hesitant to try a matte product, however to my surprise, this foundation is now my go to. It creates a nice matte finish where I don’t need to use powder. It also felt really light on my skin which was amazing! I didn’t have to use a lot for it to cover my acne and redness. I had the foundation on for a good 7-8 hours and it lasted really well. No need for touching up and no lines around my mouth. I would recommend if your skin is combination or oily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this foundation!!\nI have found it hard over the years to find a cheaper long lasting foundation in drug stores and usually stick to higher ends. This changes that for me.\nThe colour range is decent and I found my perfect shade- that blends in and looks natural on my skin tone.\nThe foundation comes in a long squeeze tube which only delivers a small sufficient amount each squeeze.\nWhen applying this foundation you have to be quick because it dries quickly and matte, that said its quite easy and smooth to blend and rub in.  I find using a sponge the best way to use it as it helps to smooth the result.  While drying quickly this foundation gives a great medium to high coverage that turns matte. Less is more due to this but that being said I don't find this looks too cakey or overdone.\nThe medium to high finish ends up giving my skin enough coverage with all blemishes and pigmentation hiden- none of it comes through. While the result is matte in effect - there's also no drying of my skin and it doesn't sink into my pores and fines lines during the day!!   It looks matte but not flat. The matte effect lasts all day and I only have a touch of skin/ oil production at the end of the day. My skin is combination with the tendency to become quite oily on my t-zones- due to my skin prone to oiliness this is brilliant- many foundations still leave me oily and shinny by the end of the day.  Even on hot days or sweating moments I don't have excess oil or foundation sliding off my face. It sticks to your face with no transfer movement or wearing off.  At the end of the day- it is still on my skin!! Giving perfect coverage still. \nThis foundation is easy to wash off, doesn't clog pores or leave skin with breakouts or blackheads. I'm super impressed by this affordable foundation. Find the perfect shade and you'll love it to death!

It is matte however it doesn't look cakey at all and I don't even feel like im wearing foundation yet the coverage is still really good as I have some acne scars.\n\nBy the evening the chin area does get a bit shiny but not to the point where it's really noticeable and oily.  \n

I love trying out different foundations; from high end products to drugstore products and this is one that I've continued to buy over and over again. For a drugstore foundation, I honestly can't praise this enough.\n\nThe texture itself is somewhere between lightweight and medium with high coverage. It comes in a small plastic tube and allows you dispense as much or as little as you need, which is perfect as a little product goes a really long way. As it's a mattifying foundation, it does dry fairly quickly, but even still it remains easy to blend whether you're using a beauty blender or foundation brush. \n\nIt doesn't have an extensive colour range, but the 01 Vanilla shade is perfect for whenever I haven't fake tanned, The darker colours in the range just don't seem to match my skin colour whenI am tanned, however by mixing 2-3 shades together, I'm able to get the perfect shade for me.\n\nPROS:\n- Incredibly long lasting\n- Super affordable\n- Perfect mattifying formula\n- Makes skin look flawless\n\nCONS:\n- Can look cakey if too much product is applied\n- No clear section on tube to indicate how much product is left\n- Poor colour range (only 6 or 7 shades available)\n\nI absolutely recommend this product to anyone that will listen and have even managed to get four of my friends onto it. Love love LOVE this product!\n\n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have a few high end foundations that I wear occasionally, but this is always my go to, especially for work!\nI hardly need any product and it blends so nicely with such fantastic coverage.\nIt's a matte finish that doesn't really even need a setting powder (I do use one though). I apply my make up at 7am and by the time I get home at 6pm, I haven't needed to do any touch ups!\nI also think they have a great variety of colours for different skin tones

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Packaging: Ok this is how ALL foundations should be packaged! tubes are so much easier than a bottle to get out every little bit of product and so much more hygienic than a tub that you continually put your fingers into. the look of the tube is simple and direct without any need for over packing the wording. Colour wise it is striking and does pop out on the shelf rather than blending into the stands when you are looking for something.\n\nFinish: this is such a beautiful MATTE finish! it really does dry down matte, to the point that i very rarely will add a powder on top of this. i feel like the foundation is matte enough that there is no need to add an extra mattifying element. This foundation is a medium to full coverage foundation that can be built up a little. i love applying it with a damp blending sponge to give the smoothest finish. the finish is a little eon the powdery side and can transfer a little onto clothing but popping a quick setting spray over the top combats this perfectly.\n\nLongevity: This foundation is truly a long wearing foundation. i get a full days work out of it without it breaking down or my oils pushing through the foundation. i generally am able to touch my forehead out 3 hours after applying foundation and feel the oils seaping over my skin. after 12 hours with the Loreal Infallible Matte i can touch my forehead and feel soft, powder light, and fresh skin that doesn't feel oily or slimy. plus it looks fresh as a daisy \n\nHaving oily skin, i always rely on my powders and primers to keep my foundation looking matte and set all day. with Loreal's Infallible matte foundation I dont need to rely on those extra steps to keep me matte as it does it all on its own. one of the only foundations i have used that i can put it on at 6am and when i get home at 6pm it still looks exactly the same! LOVE\n

It is  my top 5 foundation of all time among Estee Double Wear and Double Wear Light and Dior Forever, has got very similar features and is generally lovely. \n\nInfallible matte:\n-         Has a decent variety of shades ( mine being 22 radiant beige)\n-         Has got amazing coverage, medium plus to full ( conceals blemishes and dark spots)\n-         is long lasting, great for Australia summer and nights out, no touch ups needed throughout the day\n-         blends into the skin beautifully ( best results in my opinion with a damp beauty blender)\n-         creates one of the most beautiful, photoshoped yet natural effect\n-         mattifies intensely ( although mattifying – rather light on the skin)\n-         won’t darken on the skin\n-         won’t look patchy, won’t look cakey\n-         great with silicone based primers or if we want more radiance with a hydrating primer\n-         doesn’t accentuate dry patches or fine wrinkles\nI never thought I would find something as close to Estee Lauder Double Wear but here it is! Wholeheartedly recommend for combination/oily skins. \n

They were not kidding when they said 24H-Matte for this foundation, can't say anything about 24 hours claim but I have worn it for up to 10 hours and it did not budge and was completely matte. I liked this foundation as its light-weight and still manages to cover quite well (medium coverage, which is buildable) and it stays put all day, I do have dry skin so I need to prep my skin well before using a matte foundation. Some foundation still highlighted the dryness on my face but this one does not cling to my dry patches nor does it highlight any dryness. The only con I noticed was the shade range, the shades were either too light or too dark to match me perfectly, so I chose a lighter one and bronzed it up so that it matches my skin tone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for oily t-zone but needs lighter shades My absolute favourite foundation that I have been using for the past four years. I have an oily t-zone, and this foundation mattifies the skin on my face and makes it look so smooth, and it's not cakey (I use this with a damp beauty blender). However, the lightest shade isn't actually light enough for my skin, as I am very fair, so I use it when I have fake tan on, or with lightening drops (Australis sell one). I recommend this foundation to those who aren't very fair skinned and who have an oily face that want a perfect matte finish.

However I do like a super full coverage and I would call this Medium although it is buildable and that's not a bad thing if that is what you are after. I always have one in my makeup kit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The L'Oreal Matte Foundation claims to be a matte foundation that is lightweight, yet lasts all day and can resist sweat, heat and humidity.\nThis foundation comes in a 35 ml plastic squeeze tube. A screw top lid covers a small hole dispenser.\nThis product is a liquid foundation but is on the thicker side. It has a scent that I can only describe as that typical makeup smell, it's quite light so I don't really notice it to be honest.\nI have applied the foundation with a brush, sponge and my fingers. Each method works equally well. It is smooth and easy to apply and blend. I get a medium coverage that is buildable to full. I only need a small amount, but when I have applied that little too much I haven't experienced a problem with cakiness.\nAs someone that generally prefers a more dewy finish, I actually like this matte foundation. It has more of a velvety finish rather than being flat. I can go without a finishing powder, but this foundation is light weight and performs quite well with a powder also.\n\nL'Oreal Infallible Matte Foundation is a fabulous drugstore foundation that has great coverage and is matte without being a heavy mask on your face. \n\n

I have oily combo skin, and this goes on so smooth and easy, I set with a light pressed powder and it don’t not move all day! \nGreat colour range selection, always on sale somewhere. Will always have in my beauty pile. \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is my usual go to daily foundation as i do have oily skin and i do like a decent amount of coverage and i think for the price this is a great product! admittedly the colour range is quite limited so i do tend to mix some of my other foundations in depending on what colour i'm at but otherwise a great drug store product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My first impression of this foundation is that it gives really good coverage, my blemishes have dramatically disappeared or minimised. I tried the colour sand and I am Asian and the colour was a good choice.\nThe foundation lasts well throughout the day and I definitely have less shine on my t-zone.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wow . I am impressed with this foundation! My skin can be extremely finicky,  what works one day can be a hot mess the next. However , this foundation I tried every day for over a week and it did not fail me once . It gave me a beautiful matte finish that was not at all flat , it still managed to give off a natural look to my skin which I really enjoyed. At first application I did find that it clung slightly to dry patches which was easily remedied  with applying a good moisturiser as a base first. As the day went on I actually found my foundation looked better , as it warmed into my skin . I'd say it's a strong medium coverage which is easily built to high coverage without getting overly cakey. Highly recommend to others. Also a little goes a long way,  so price point is very reasonable in my opinion.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was a great, light-weight fell but good coverage foundation. It didn't feel heavy or thick on, but I felt it had great coverage throughout the day and lasted a day at work. A great alternative to expensive foundations from department stores. Will b sure to buy in the future.
