[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Of all the liquid liners I've tried so far, I found the formula of this one to be the most opaque black and it went on very smoothly. I wore this out for a night and I did get a bit of smudging under my eyes but that was easily fixed. My only problem with this product is the tip used to apply the product. It's extremely flexible which is both good and bad. I found it very good for creating the basic shape of my wing and it was fantastic for lining my upper eyelid. I did find it more difficult when filling my wings in as the flexibility of the applicator can make it a bit difficult to apply. This is probably something you would get better at using with practice.

It applies very smoothly and it last all day - even on a hot and sweaty day! However, after a few uses, it felt like the very tip had begun to dry out and became increasingly difficult to create that perfect flick. Overall, I am happy with the product and a great budget buy!

I have hooded eyelids & was really pleased to find this dried down fairly quickly and did not transfer on to my upper lid. The colour is a beautiful jet black , which i also love. This lasted so long too ! It was absolutely waterproof , as it suggests in the name , so that was great , because my eyes tend to water sometimes and this did not budge. I wear contact lenses and have a tough time finding liners that dont irritate my eyes however I had no problem at all with this liner , so that is definitely a big thumbs up ! I would certainly recommend this liner , it is right up there in performance when i compare to other liquid liners I have that were much more expensive !

Rimmel London Wonder’Ink Extreme Wear Waterproof Eyeliner is a black matte liquid eyeliner that lasts all day long, and a dependable product. It comes in a black plastic tube with a cap. Is small enough to carry in your handbag daily if you want to touch up your makeup (but it lasts all day so you’re unlikely to need touch ups). The formula is matte and dries very quickly. It has a felt tip applicator so you apply with ease. The eyeliner tip is a bit thicker than some of my other eyeliners, but because the tube is easy to hold it allow you to be precise, just be a bit steady with your hands otherwise you will need up with a thicker look. If you struggle with using eyeliner, this a great one to use because it’s simple and easy to apply and the formula dries fast, so you don’t have to worry you will blink and mess up your eyeliner. It stays on all day, and doesn’t smudge even on hot summery days. I found it really easy to remove with some micellar water or cleanser at the end of the day, so not tugging at the eyes or anything. Love that it is also affordable priced, so this Rimmel eyeliner is a great daily wear eyeliner for me. Thanks ReviewCrew for helping me find a great eyeliner!

The formula is also a long-lasting intense black and you get good colour payoff. I have oily eyelids and found a bit of fading during the day but overall it lasted quite well even in hot summer weather. The product also removed easily at the end of the day with my usual eye makeup remover.

I like the length and shape of the applicator as it helps the application. I loved that I could apply it to the eye and keep going over to perfect my line without it clumping or drying up - smooth application every time. I also loved that it was smudge proof as I have an oily tzone, almost every eyeliner I wear gives me panda eyes on the top and bottom of my lids and I wore this all day and absolutely no signs of panda eyes or need to wipe or reapply more = winning !! Fantastic for everyone from beginners of winged eyeliner to the professionals. Highly recommended for those who like a dark black eyeliner that won’t smudge or transfer.

I was very excited to try this eyeliner- usually I have to be so careful with my eye drops so as not to smudge . I was not disappointed . Loved the thick liner, “proper “ black and it was easy to use. As with other waterproof products, an application mistake is a little harder to clean up , but it’s well worth it.

The tip is very soft, making it easy to spread along the eye. Wearing in light rain, there was no running or smudging. I would definitely purchase again but would stick to pencil eyeliner if you tend to mostly apply to your bottom lids.

I apply it in the morning and even after a gym class where I’m sweating like crazy it still stays put. The application is not as easy but I just tidy it up with a q-tip. Not bad for the price and for something that actually is waterproof!!

Personally I don't do wings so the thicker marker works to me. However the longevity isn't fantastic it doesn't last through work or a night out. But if you are looking for a affordable day liner this could be for you.

The product came off and took a while to dry after the application. I prefer to stick to my Stilla and Kat Von D eyeliner that I know is going to last all day. The application was the best thing about the product. It was smooth and glided easily. I would recommend the product for beginners who can’t splurge on high end makeup

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty good liner [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must preface this by saying that I don't normally wear liquid liner, so I can't really compare it to other products that are currently on the market. However, it was a really easy product to use. The colour was a nice, intense, solid black that applied smoothly and created a wing with ease. I can not comment on how many applications you can get as I have only used it a few times. I have very oily eyelids and the product lasted pretty well. There was some smudging at the outer eye where I had rubbed it, but I'm not sure that any liner would survive that. There was no transfer onto the hooded part of my lid which was a bonus. I have quite sensitive eyes and there is a possibility that this was causing slight irritation and watering but it was bearable. The price makes this product an easy recommendation to friends and family.

Having hooded eyes it’s tricky to find eyeliners that work for my eye shape, however the fine felt tip applicator made the application process flawless! I used the side of the eyeliner to make a “stamp” to map out my wings. The eyeliner has a matte finish however I felt like the black was not as opaque as other eyeliners in the market. Wear test: I noticed this eyeliner fades during the day and definitely isn’t as “black” after my 8 hour shift, I also find that the eyeliner smudges and transfers which is not ideal. I would recommend this eyeliner for beginners.

I am a big fan of Rimmel mascaras but haven't had a lot of experience with their eyeliners before. This product was ok, the colour pay off was good, however I found it got a little patchy and faded by the end of the day, though I do have quite oily eyelids at times. It goes on a little thicker than my normal eyeliner, but I do like mine very thin as I have quite hooded eyes. Overall it isn't a bad budget buy but I don't think I would rebuy it

I found the formula of this eyeliner to be very black and quite opaque. I found I did get some smudging throughout the day, and my eyes were more watery than usual due to high smoke levels during the wearing period, so under normal conditions this probably would not be an issue for me. If you typically have watery eyes this formula might not work for you. I enjoyed the brush tip for getting a precise point on the wing, but I did find it difficult to apply a thicker line in a controlled manner as the brush was not very stiff. Overall, it's a fairly average eyeliner, I'd probably grab it in a pinch but wouldn't hunt it down again.

First impressions good and practical packaging. When first apply the eyeliner on my eyes, I had noticed that you need to be very careful with the pressure you apply as the width of the eyeliner size will differ. The colour of the eyeliner is a true dark black which I love. Unfortunately I did not find the eyeliner waterproof as described. I was able to get about 2 hours of solid wear then the eyeliner would start to smudge and lose all colour. At the end of my workday I would come home with panda like eyes, not a good look. If Rimmel were re-work their waterproof side of the eyeliner, it would be a go-to for many people. This has a lot of potential with more improvements back in their labs. For my personally, I wouldn't recommend this product for someone that has oily eyelids.

I thought once it dried down it wouldn't feel so awful, but unfortunately it's stays feeling that way. It's also almost impossible to get a clean line as the tip is too thick. I thought being a bit thick and heavy it would at least stay on well during the day, however it does not. It smudges everywhere. Which is amazing considering YOU CAN NOT GET THIS OFF. I used makeup wipes, micellar water, my face halo, even olive oil to try to get it off. It just smudges around your face. Definitely will not be using this again and I wouldn't recommend it at all.

The application with the felt tip is quite thick, very black pigment which is great but when coupled with an uneven distribution of liquid it made my winged look very messy and difficult to get precise. When purchasing felt tip liquid eyeliners I personally look for a softer more malleable tip - this was rock hard which some might think makes it steady but again the product did not stick nicely to the felt tip so it created a mess. I would not recommend this to someone who uses this look daily, as we all know how frustrating it can be to perfect the winged look!

Firstly, the colour is a rich black that really makes your eyes pop - this I love! But I found the application messy as the eyeliner was a bit thicker than I prefer and when trying to clean the eyeliner off it smudged all over my eye. The product also didn't last very well during the day, the line did stay nice and strong but some of the product made it's way into the corner of my eyes leaving me looking a bit raccoon-ish! Not bad, but not my favourite.

I bought this product for the cheap price it is, thinking it would be a steal! but i was so wrong. i applied my eyeliner on the eye and when it attempted to take it off with misceller water and a cotton makeup pad-remover, it instantly made my whole eye black. long-story-short, this product is not worth the money ! don’t buy it if you don’t want an impromptu black eye!!
