The formula is smooth & creamy which makes for easy application. The wand aids in ensuring the product doesn’t clump on your lashes ensuring full, long and luxurious lashes! Definitely recommend this product! You can easily change the effect of the mascara depending on how many layers you apply, meaning it is versatile as a natural day mascara and can be built up into a heavier look for the evening! The only negative I’d say about this product is the fact the formula clumps on the bristles however this is only a minor issue as the product still applies smoothly on the lashes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good mascara [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I like this mascara as it reminds me of the Marc Jacobs velvet noir which has a similar feathery brush and thick formula. It was long wearing a and didn’t smudge and lengthened my lashes really nicely. However it can be really messy and clumpy if you don’t wipe away a lot of the excess off the wand before applying.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Front Runner in the Rimmel Mascara Range [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Rimmel Scandal'Eyes Volume on demand mascara is one I'll be adding to the repurchase list. I found this mascara provided me with full, separated and luscious lashes. Myself and my daughter were asked if we had had lash extensions after using this mascara. This is a great addition in the Rimmel Range as I have always found their mascaras too subtle and very smudgy due to wet formula. I did not have any flaking or smudging even through a very hot and sweaty time in summer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great mascara at affordable price [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mascara definitely gave me volume and with the curvy brush type I was able to separate and coat every lash for a perfect finish. The only downfall of the product was after a few hours of wear, it rubs off onto my under eye makeup leaving me with panda eyes by the end of the day - which is not a great look. Great mascara at an affordable price, just look for the waterproof formula if you don’t like the panda eye look.

I quite liked this one, but I found the brush to be quite large, I prefer the smaller bristles, I found the large bristles don’t give me the long lash I prefer. In saying that I would most definitely buy it and use it again. Was a nice colour, didn’t smudge or run or go clumpy which was good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good in a pinch [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't usually use mascara, but I was pleasantly surprised with the huge brush and it applied product fantastically on my short lashes. The separation on the lashes wasn't great, but I do have very short lashes and the formula clumped a little. It lasted well through the day and it was easy to clean off. I didn't like the red bulky packaging personally but I do think it would easy to find in your bag! Overall not a bad product for the price point, and I think Rimmel often have great buys for >$20 range.

However, as someone who looks for volume and length in my lashes I found it was a bit of a let down for me. The formula is quite dry and as a result I can see it becoming quite clumpy after being open for a week. The packaging felt really cheap and flimsy. The brush is okay, but I expected fluffier lashes given it’s size. I probably wouldn’t repurchase again - especially for $18+ AUD.

I would not purchase this as it was not the right mascara for my lashes

It went on easily, was a nice black, and it defined my eyelashes nicely. I found it a bit wet, so it smudged before drying, and it didn't give any extra volume. I'll use what i have, but i would repurchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Solid mascara but not a holy grail product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Despite being advertised as a voluminous mascara, I found it to have a more natural effect (note: I like a rather dramatic lash). It is reasonably buildable but ultimately more lengthening than voluminous. It was however, very long lasting and did not smudge or transfer throughout the day. My regular cleansing routine (for non-waterproof mascara) did not take it off properly. I had to use an additional eye makeup remover. I don't think this is an issue but just a heads up. Overall, I didn't hate it but I didn't love it. Solid mascara but not a holy grail product.

I applied two layers on my lashes and found it gave me darker lashes, made it look longer but it didn’t curl for me. It did stay on for a few hours but I did get panda eyes from wearing it.

It also took a while to dry which cases me to smear it a couple of times by accident. Overall it is all right but it’s not that dramatic.

Scandal'eyes initially made my lashes look great - though as some other users commented, either the formula, the wand, or the combination of them both made it be a bit clumpy now and again. Making application either take longer than it should, or requires a bit of extra effort. The main issue for me, was that I ended up smudges around my eyes due to the fact I have hooded eyes, and obviously some other oiliness or something going on. Note, normal mascaras usually don't succeed for me, and I have to use tubing mascaras to not result in a panda eye situation. So my less than stellar experience probably won't translate to others.

It has a tapered, soft bristle brush that makes it easy to evenly apply the mascara to the lashes. I quite liked this mascara, but found that it did transfer a little immediatly after application and while it was still setting. I also experienced a little smudging on the lower lashes after a few hours. Overall, i think this performs really well as a top lash mascara by providing considerable volume and length while still looking and feeling natural, but would opt for a different mascara for the lower lashes.

Overall I found that it is quite a decent mascara however it took multiple coats to reach the desired volume. Once I reached the desired volume, the product didn't budge throughout the day. The mascara didn't transfer to my eyelids which is a massive plus as this is something I have often experienced with Rimmel mascaras. It is quite an affordable product and would definitely recommend for anyone on a budget.

You can use a different part of the brush for the corners which i find harder to apply. However, the formula isnt the best. I found that it did not hold the curl all day, my eyelashes began to droop and then i would have black smudges under my eyes, not ideal.

I have appreciated their products because they are affordable and have a good quality. This volume promising mascara left me a bit indifferent though. With this mascara, you can build your own volume for lashes by applying as many coats as needed. I was expecting not needing to apply more than two coats an oh boy was I wrong. First two coats were barely notice and that is why I wasn't a fan of this product. Who has time nowadays to apply 5 coats of mascara in the morning? If the product promises volume, then I am expecting it to be delivered rather sooner than later.  I did love the wand though, it was easy to apply the mascara with it. Once the mascara was on, it didn´t smudge or flake and stayed on for the whole day. I wouldn´t recommend it to someone who is looking for voluminous lashes though, instead it is more appropriate for a minimal, barely there make up lovers.

I have quite long eyelashes but need more volume from my mascara. This mascara claims to have a volumising formula which allows buildable coverage. After my first use, I was so disappointed with this mascara. I found the formula quite thin and it left my lashes looking quite spidery. I tried building the layers but I just couldn't achieve the bold, fluffy look I get from some other volume mascaras. I found myself having to go over the top with another mascara and relegated Rimmel London Scandal’Eyes Volume On Demand to my bottom lashes only. I don't recommend Rimmel London Scandal’Eyes Volume On Demand. You can achieve the same results with any mascara at any price point.
