We have been using since 12 months old and she struggled to open but now does it with ease (20months) and gives her a great sense of indepdence. I cut the tip off the end so there is no valve anymore but still find it rarely leaks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Water Bottle I have these for both my 3 year & 4 year as a transition away from the B.Box Sippy Cups when they changed to the new style sippy cup (mid 2019) which my children hated because of was a larger straw. These water bottles contain a decent amount of water, particularly important if we are out and about for the day. Sturdy too!! These have been dropped from a toddlers mouth onto tiles & concrete (accidentally or if my Sassy 3 year old has done it, it would have been intentional). The handle suits little hands to carry around as well, so no more hearing "mum can you hold please". Would recommend

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great kids drink bottle I bought this a month ago and would recommend this bottle. I bought it for my one year old daughter. The bottle/straw seems easier to clean than the other bbox straw cups (straws get mouldy over time). I do use a straw cleaning brush. it also holds larger volume of water which is useful when out and about. My only minor complaint is the button is a little hard to open for little hands. Once the lid is open sometimes you have to manually push the lid back so the straw is fully exposed to drink from. Overall very happy with it. Would also consider the insulated one for hot weather.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average bottle Initially thought it was a good bottle, however after daily use at daycare, and checking it daily, the clip to open the lid sticks and has to be forced open now, so my daughter has to ask for her bottle to be opened, and the bottle scratched up very easily.
