My kids are GF and these have allowed them to still have the luxury of hot food on a cool day. Keeps the food at a great temp for lunch time. The removable handles mean as my kids grow the thermos can grow with them. The handles on the side plus the lid handle make it easy to open for little hands. Sizing is awesome and just right. The spork if comes with fits nicely in the inbuilt holder on the thermis but my kids take thier own spoon or forks as the supplied one is too short for them to get all the food from the thermos bottom. Would love to see a foldable spork optiin added to rectify this issue. Love love love the fact that every part of this thermos is able to be pulled apart and cleaned thouroughly. Been many years since ive been this happy with a thermos. Cant wait to try it in summer for cold stuff.

I usually prepare food in the morning and put it in the jar immediately, the food is at right temp in lunch time. It is easy to open. My 5yo son can open it himself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this so much! I love this so much! My little boy started Prep (Foundation) this year and was adamant to take his favourite pasta to school for lunch. I was looking for a cute thermos with a wide enough opening to allow him easy access to the food and one that would keep food warm until lunch time. We tried a different one previously while he was in kinder but my son said the food wasn't warm enough by lunch time. So I was obviously dubious thinking none would, but decided to give this one a try. It works perfectly and we're so happy with it. It also works with cold food, keeping yoghurt cold and fresh for 6+ hours. Pros: Large opening for filling/eating from Easy open lid Leak proof Keep food hot for 6 hours Keep food cold for 6+ hours Reminders: Pre-heat with boiling water prior to filling with hot food Make sure food is piping hot prior to filling Cons: The fork is a little bit pointless (blunt) for 'real' food; we use a cake fork which fits in the holder nicely :) Misc: Ample room for a 1+ cup of cooked pasta and sauce; fits 5+ cocktail sausages/chicken fingers and veggies like asparagus. Good for a 4-7 year old with a big appetite. May not be adequate for older children/adults on it's own.
