Our kit provides 100% grey coverage, giving your hair up to 10x more moisture* and 2x richer colour**. The application is easy thanks to our non-drip crème formula, suitable for all hair types. Our Triple Care Colour ritual cares for your colour, cares for your scalp and cares for your hair. The protective colouring cream is enriched with Pro-Keratin for long lasting colour. The gentle scalp post-colour shampoo delicately cleanses the scalp and hair by gently rinsing away excess residue. Formulated specifically to be used right after colouring your hair. Directions

1) Add the colouring cream to the developer and shake well to mix.

2) Apply the mix to your hair, starting from the roots then throughout the lengths and ends. Leave in hair for 30 mins.

3) Rinse your hair until the water runs clear. Use the Caring Gentle pH Shampoo to remove any excess residue.

4) Apply a halzenut amount of the Lightweight Nourishing Mask. Leave in for 3 mins then rinse your hair. Use the mask once a week until your next colour for soft, shiny, lively hair.

The hair colour was very easy to mix and apply, with the application bottle included in the box. The colour develops in less than 30 minutes and rinses away well. The included post-colour shampoo and treatment work well to leave the hair soft, smooth and shiny. I found this hair colour covered my greys well and the shade looked very natural. It's a very easy to use and effective at home hair dye.

I would like to suggest that, this product needs to add extra tap to seal, cause sometimes losses the conditioner or others inside, the conditioner is the best part of this product. I need to mention about the gloves, they are getting too small for normal fingers. I like to see the improvement.

Gone are the days where I can afford to go to the salon every two months so I spread out my salon visita and handover my interim hair colour treatments to L'Oreal Excellence. It's incredible the results you can get at a fraction of the salon price and a 'hair pick me up' always feels great. My husband sometimes asks if I've been to the salon - how good is that? I need a dye that doesn't strip the hair too much as I'm always working against the grain to combat dry hair - this does a pretty good job, leaving my hair soft and manageable.

Tone is uneven and not one colour where grey regrowth starts. I'd prefer a darker colour for more even coverage.

I now like to save money and time to dye my own hair. It's a good product, easy to use, however, I still could see some grey hair after dying.

Once washed the roots took the colour really well but the rest of the hair only changed colour slightly and my golden hair could still be seen. The shampoo and leave in conditioner smelt great and left my hair feeling so soft and light. Great for grey hair coverage but not for an overall colour.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Don't color after using Magic Root Coverup I have had really good results using four prior times. Today, I colored after using L'Oreal Magic Root Coverup. The two areas where the spray was used remained silver gray! I even left the color in for the extra 10 minutes recommended for resistant gray! A note needs to be made that hair should be free of this temporary spray color.

Part of what made it worthwhile paying the premium price was that you got decent quality gloves that fit my hands easily and dont tear. These new ones are TINY, i couldnt even get them on either hand and im just an average Australian woman. And please get rid of the shampoo, i have plenty of that in my shower already. Bring back the serum instead

Today I used the "new" one and am very disappointed that the gloves seem to have been downsized to the piont that I could not even get them on. I am not a large person but had to dye my hair without the protection of the gloves. L'Oreal, please go back to giving usable gloves!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Previous satisfied customer unhappy I have been using this product for about 10 or 12 years - not natural brown, but 5.6 Auburn. The product now has a strong amonia/bleach smell - not noticed previously The colour does not last as long as it used to. One of the best things about this product was that it took less time for the water to run clear than all others, and that is still the case. I will have to go back to trying other brands now, to find one that lasts and doesn't have that strong smell. I have previously recommended this product to many friends but not any more. Please advertise when you go back to the old recipe so I can come back.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Useless Gloves I bought the same product as usual and found shampoo instead of the protector liquid. Then I tried to put the gloves on. Hopeless!! I tore one and was more careful with the second, but had to cope with it only half on which caused dramas as the colour was applied. Please quality control the gloves with real women and I dont have large hands.

Oh, and it become more expensive as well.

The cream was too thick and difficult to get in the bottle. After 4 washes and extensive rinsing the colour was still dripping everywhere. The product L'Oréal took off the market soaked properly into my hair, coloured well and rinsed out easily but of course it had to be taken off the market. Seems that anything good these days gets taken off the market and we are left with the rubbish Excellence line.
