Directions

1) Add the colouring cream to the developer and shake well to mix.

2) Apply the mix to your hair, starting from the roots then throughout the lengths and ends. Leave in hair for 30 mins.

3) Rinse your hair until the water runs clear. Use the Caring Gentle pH Shampoo to remove any excess residue.

4) Apply a halzenut amount of the Lightweight Nourishing Mask. Leave in for 3 mins then rinse your hair. Use the mask once a week until your next colour for soft, shiny, lively hair.

It did not smell strongly of chemicals. It was easy to mix, and the comb attachment for the bottle was a nice addition to help with application. The shampoo and hair mask included were wonderful. Smelt great and left my hair clean and soft. Would definitely recommend L'Oreal Paris Excellence Creme in whatever your preferred colour!

Whilst thankfully my hair does not feel damaged, so the protective additives clearly work, it was a complete waste of time and energy.

Afterwards washed and dried and directed. I took photos of before and after. I did notice that there is a bit of a red tinge to the colour. It has hidden my greys to which I'm happy but thought it would be a lighter brown than what it is. Over all I'm happy with the product and what it does.

I was pleased with the grey coverage and it is a great quick home colour to use if you need a quick fix. I did find my hair was a little dry after colouring though which is the downside of home colouring but when you need to colour your hair and you can't get to the hairdressers because of other priorities (like young kids) this home colour does the job. Just make sure you have some hair treatment to use following your colour as it did dry my hair out a lot.

Was very easy to apply and I love the fresh scent as it wasn't overly strong or smelling of ammonia. The colour is lasting well without fading and it has covered the few greys I had.
