Directions

Gently massage in circular motions onto damp skin morning and night. Pay particular attention to the face and neck and avoid the eye contours. Rinse thoroughly and pat skin dry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Elucent's Even Tone Exfoliating Cleanser at the Best in Beauty event along with its night time moisturizer. I think this is a lovely, gentle exfoliating cleanser. It has a mild, warm fragrance. It comes in a generous-sized tube and lasts quite some time as not much is required. It has very fine micro beads hence is gentle enough to be used daily. Cleanses the skin really well but with makeup or sunscreen, a double cleanse would be required. With such lovely ingredients, it helps brighten the complexion and I found it to be moisturizing as well. It helps remove the dead skin cells making way for the next skincare routine and helping in optimal absorption of skincare products. My friend, who has recently gotten into the habit of skincare, visited me and tried this cleanser. She loved it as well and couldn't stop touching her skin and commenting on how soft and clean her skin felt!

Elucent is part of the Ego skin care family and so you can use these products confident of their safety and efficacy. I found this product to be gentle despite its exfoliating function. It has vitamin B3 (nicotinic acid) and I have noticed that my skin is less tight and red since using this cleanser. Go gently with massaging it into the skin and there should be no troubles. I was also pleased to experience the emblica fruit extract which has brightening properties. This may have been the pleasant tingling I felt.

I have been looking for a product like this for the longest time - a non-abrasive, exfoliating cleanser that does not cause me to break out. I personally do not have issues regarding face pigmentation or an uneven skin tone, but I have been using this cleanser every day, morning and night and have experienced lovely, smooth skin after each use. Pairing this with its accompanied night cream boosted the hydration of my skin, leaving me with a soft, smooth and supple face. This cleanser is fragrance-free and is of great value. I have experienced better results with this than luxury brand skincare products, so I most definitely think it is worth it.

I was a bit wary of using an exfoliator twice a day but once I tried it, it really is gentle on your skin. The cleanser has a fairly runny consistency and you can feel some very small exfoliating particles. I didn't notice a strong scent in this cleanser and after washing away the cleanser, I did notice that my skin felt smoother. A good basic cleanser that is perfect if you like feeling refreshed by the exfoliation.

I was a slightly hesitant at first application as I have quite dry and sensitive skin that can be prone to redness. Following my first application, I was surprised by the tingling sensation -but I felt reassured that it must be working! I found that it cleansed my facial skin and didn’t dry or irritate it as I had feared it might. I’ve been applying it for 2 weeks now and my skin now looks a lot clearer and much brighter lately -since using this product. I will defined add this to my routine and continue to purchase this again in the future! Would I recommend this Even Tone Exfoliating Cleanser? Yes, for sure!

The exfoliater isn’t too harsh and doesn’t strip your skin. My skin felt lovely after and looked refreshed and smooth. I haven’t noticed a difference in my pigmentation but my skin is looking a lot better. It has brightened my skin and left it looking refreshed especially after using the elecunt moisturiser afterwards. I would recommended this product and buy it again. The product goes a long way as well which is great. I think it is great value for money.

I'm pleased to say that I found the cleanser to be gentle and had no ill effects from its use. Having said that, because my skin tends to be reactive, I won't be using it every day. I'm not too keen on the fragrance but its quite mild and rinses off without the lingering smell. My skin is very dry and dead skin builds up quickly. This product has helped my skin to feel a lot smoother, my moisturisers are soaking in more effectively, and my skin looks more hydrated. I haven't noticed a difference in tone yet but that may improve with more time and use of the cleanser.

I use an exfoliator a couple of times a week, however usually have trouble finding one that isn't too harsh on the skin. Most products either don't have enough exfoliating ingredients to do the job, or contain ground seeds which feel like they're shredding your skin. The Even Tone Exfoliating cleanser deeply cleanses your skin, however isn't at all harsh or irritating. I found that my skin was perfectly smooth after use, was glowing, and didn't show any signs of redness which I always have after exfoliating due to the harsh ingredients. I'm a big fan! This product has opened my eyes to the different kinds of exfoliants you can find.

The Elucent even tone exfoliating cleanser is like a 2-in-1 that it helps to cleanse the skin and exfoliate at the same time without over working the skin. The formula seems gentle as the beads are tiny and dissolved when I massage to my face. I found it comfortable for my dry-sensitive skin type, as it felt cleansed, skin felt soft and hydrated after use. I don’t normally use a physical exfoliant as I prefer a chemical exfoliant but since this was gentle for my skin, I would use this weekly or in rotation with existing exfoliating products that I have opened. You can use this cleanser daily or when your skin needs to be exfoliated. For my skin type, I don’t feel comfortable exfoliating my skin everyday, as I find that it can be abrasive and might cause my skin to flare up. It works well to cleanse skin from the day’s pollution and sunscreen.

I haven't used a combined exfoliator and cleanser before so I was excited to try this one from Elucent. It's got a milky/creamy consistency. Compared to cleansers I normally use this one doesn't lather as much so 1 cleanse was enough in the mornings but I noticed that after wearing spf during the day, makeup on some days and just the oil that's on my skin at the end of the day because I have combination to oily skin, a double cleanse using this cleanser wasn't enough. So on the days where my skin feels quite yuck when I get home at night I cleanse using this along with another product. This is a very gentle cleanser which is also not the best at removing makeup like foundation from my skin and pores. My skin does appear brighter and smoother after cleansing with this but that's all that I've noticed so far. Although I do like it I also think that maybe this is too gentle for my skin.

Firstly, it has a really pleasant smell which is subtle. It is also really easy to apply, and it goes on smoothly. I must be honest, I do find it a little runny, which often means too much comes out. But the good thing is that a little goes a long way (I feel like this cleanser is going to last forever!) After I use this cleanser, my skin definitely seems a little brighter. It leaves that nice taught feeling too. Have I noticed a reduction in pigmentation? No, not yet anyway. But I am keen to persevere. After all, results don't happen overnight. Thank you BH for giving me the opportunity to trial this product. I would recommend it to others.

It contains small exfoliating beads that can remove dead skin cells and vitamin C and vitamin B3 to help even skin tone and brighten complexion. It does leave your skin refreshed. However, it is quite gentle on the skin which may not be sufficient if you want a deep cleanse. It certainly doesn’t cause any irritation so it would be perfect for those with sensitive skin. It is gentle enough to use every day as it won’t dry up the skin. Keeps it hydrated and soft.

I like using exfoliating cleanser as part of my skincare routine and super keen in trying this out. The consistency of the cleanser is a lot runnier than expected and a little goes a long way. The feels really nice on the skin and the small exfoliant is prefect that it doesn't feel harsh on the skin. After washing the cleanser off, my skin feels really soft, smooth and hydrated and it doesn't feel like a layer of skin has been stripped out.

The fragrance is nice, very light. While it says it is an 'exfoliating cleanser', the exfoliation is so very gentle, I found I could easily use this daily without any irritation for my skin. I didn't feel it was all that good in removing make-up but I did feel that it lightened some light 'age spots' I have on my face already. So for that, I have to rate it well as it seemed to deliver on it's promise of visibly reducing pigmentation

I have been using it almost daily on my mature combination skin, usually in my morning shower although occasionally in the evening. I don’t have pigmentation on my face but I do have some on my arm so I’ve also been using it there. The cleanser has a slight gritty feel from the gentle exfoliating beads but much less than some exfoliators, in fact you can hardly see the beads. It is white with a slight pleasant smell. I think it must be runnier than I expect as a few times I have squeezed out more than I meant to. It is easy to rinse off but I usually use a toner to make sure I’ve removed all the beads. My face feels good using this but as my skin has no major issues it’s hard to see any big improvements. I do feel like my arm looks better and feels nicer than the other arm where I haven’t used it but I’m not sure anyone else would notice. It is nice that it doesn’t seem to be drying out my skin as some exfoliators can. It says you can use this morning and night but I feel that would be too much, especially if you have sensitive skin. I’ve also used this in my post-run shower when my face is hot and flushed but it has been gentle enough not to cause any issues. I wouldn’t necessarily repurchase this as I like to keep trying new things looking for a miracle! However I have no problem recommending it and if I was looking for an exfoliator and I saw it at the right price I might well buy it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LadyLola from Soap free exfoliating cleanser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always use an exfoliating cleanser and this one from Elucent did not disappoint. This product is presented in a 150g plastic squeeze container which is sensible and easy to use and store in the shower and perfect to throw in your bag for that lovely freshly cleansed feel after a gym workout or travel. The cleanser is also dermatologically tested and suitable for all skin types and I had no problems with my sensitive skin. I really liked the fresh scent and how the cleanser felt on my skin. I used the cleanser in the shower in the mornings and it feels lovely, leaving my skin feeling very smooth and also moisturised not parched and dry as its soap -free. At night I cleanse again and had no problems with removing my makeup but I do wear a very light foundation so not a lot to remove. It gave a nice clean slate so I can apply my serum and night moisturiser. Overall I was happy with using this cleanser and the price was decent as a little goes a long way. I haven't noticed a huge difference to my pigmentation but expect there will be more of a result with ongoing use.

This elucent even tone exfoliating cleanser professes to visibly reduce pigmentation. This is for all skin types. It is applied to damp skin morning and night. It is gently massaged into the face and neck, avoiding the eye area. It has a slight gritty feel. It’s easy to rinse off, it is quite a thin consistency. Your skin feels nice and clean afterwards. I haven’t noticed any brightening effects on my complexion. This might change with continued use. It contains a combination of antioxidants and active ingredients that are said to reduce pigmentation and even out skin tones, making the skin brighter, smoother and younger looking. I’ve been using it in conjunction with the even tone Night Moisturiser in the same range. I would have preferred a longer time to trial and review this.

My skin tends to get dull and exfoliating cleansers help to freshen and bring radiance to my skin. This one did not dissapoint. It is creamy texture first and then as you add water it gets foamy. Mild scent. It has very mild lactic acid. It helps to cleanse my skin really well. Enjoyed using this, my skin felt brighter after some time use. Because it is like a treatment/cleanser I like to cleanse off my makeup before using this. It works so well as a double cleansing system. My skin gets so soft after using this.

I love my cleansers. A mousse cleanser and an oil cleanser. I did not need any other cleansers. Then, beautyheaven let me trial this elucent cleanser as part of the Best in Beauty Marketplace event. I was wary. I don't like cream cleansers. I especially don't like grainy exfoliating cleansers, so I was pretty sure I was not going to like Elucent's Even Tone Exfoliating Cleanser. But I tried it anyway, and...... I loved it! It's applied on damp skin and although it's exfoliating it's hardly grainy at all, barely noticeable. Once rinsed off my skin felt soft and in no way tight at all. Smooth and lovely. I loved this cleanser!!!! Elucent says this will reduce pigmentation over time and leave skin brighter and smoother. I believe them. I recommend this cleanser to everyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by clearcrystalwater from Fantastic For Removing Waterproof Sunscreen [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Slightly grainy in texture that moves smoothly all over the face (and neck) easily. It is quite a fluid cream base so I find that just a slight dampening of the face is all that is needed just prior to use. Then I massage this all over and it does feel good and thorough as it cleanses and removes off some surface dead cells etc. I find this fantastic to use once or twice a week for me but I started off using it morning and night everyday, which I found to be a bit harsh and I'm not sure if it was this cleanser or because I'd had a dental anaesthetic a couple of days prior to starting this that made my cheek (on the side where I had the dental needle) more prone to feeling sensitive, but I did end up pulling useage of this great cleanser back to a couple of times a week instead of twice a day. I found that my sensitive cheek went away and also I started using a calming serum on my skin which I think helped soothe the sensitive spot down immensely. Now that the dental visit was a few weeks ago, I think I could try to increase use of this fantastic cleanser again. I just had to tweak useage of it for a while there because of personal events. Anyway, it's safe to say that if you also get a bit sensitive after a dental visit (and the anaesthetic given) then be wary that this possibly could heighten the effect of the sensitive area. So it could be good to slow down use of this cleanser while the area is also effected by the dental anaesthetic recovery period. Other than that, I love this smooth feel and gentle thorough exfoliation that this cleanser gives my skin. I'm not sure if my sunspots are more even toned or anything, but I am sure my skin is smoothed by it. Also my skin does feel purified and I do think it appears slightly brighter also. I will keep using this product in my routine a couple of times a week and especially after I've used a waterproof sunscreen that day. It's fantastic for lifting and refreshing the skin after wearing the waterproof sunscreen and it makes it feel that it definitely removes it all and I love that about this product. So I can see myself using this more in the summertime/tropical holidays when I wear a waterproof sunscreen every day. On other daus when I just wear a usual high spf I don't need to use this as often but on the topic of SPF I would definitely recommend a very high one to use while using this as you don't want to expose the fresh new skin to UV and undo all the good work that this exfoliating cleanser. This cleanser has a super slight chemical scent to it, but it's quite faint and I expect it is just from the ingredients. There is no florally/perfumey scent to this product.

Loved that it kept my face feeling smooth & soft by removing away unwanted dead skin cells. I have been regularly applying every day & night for last 3 weeks & have not had any bad reaction. A single squirt went a long way & all that I needed to cover my damp face. I have not heard of the Elucent brand before and so glad the Best in Beauty Marketplace event gave me the opportunity to trial these delightful new products. Made in Australia & from the well know Ego Pharmaceuticals, the same makers of QV range.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Blessed_Queen from Even Tone Exfoliating Cleanser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ELUCENT EVEN TONE EXFOLIATING CLEANSER PURITY AND BALANCE A very generous 150g of this product which has been dermatologically tested for all skin types and made by the well known brand Ego. On the first night of use I unscrewed the top of the tube to take the foil off the tube. I then screwed it back on and squirted some into my hands. What I found immediately was that this product seemed a little watery. I dotted my forehead, nose cheeks, chin, neck and decolletage and started massaging lightly from the decolletage in upward circular motions, applying it all over to my forehead avoiding my eye area. As I was using, this product whitened (think slight lather) and was just glorious to use. There are very fine granules in it so I went easy. It has a very very faint scent which is just lovely. Upon removing it in warm water and a face cloth, I was surprised to find my skin felt a film of moisturiser. It felt like a film of moisture was protecting my skin. This product leaves your skin feeling very hydrated. Nothing abrasive about it at all. Night two onwards, I now shake the tube and squirt a 5c size piece size on my hand and repeat the above mentioned steps. A little goes a long way and the residual, instead of wasting it, I use it on the back of my hands. I did not experience any tingling sensation. I am addicted to this product. Day 5 into usage people have started to comment on my bright skin. Day 10 the very sun damaged areas on my face have faded by about 25% and I no longer wear makeup to cover uneven skin tone. This product has helped the elasticity of my skin also. Just wonderful. I must mention that the morning following use I did not feel as though my skin needed extra moisturising, although I follow on with my daily routine. Packaged in a minimally designed but sturdy box which contains all the information required about the product. Inside you will find a tube with a tamper evident seal. The product itself is a thin consistency, with a milky like appearance and very tiny exfoliating beads. The gentle scent is a nice addition. Personally and for ease of use, especially in the shower, I would have preferred this in a pump bottle. You only need a small amount of product which can be massaged into damp skin creating a gentle lather which cleanses and hydrates the skin. The product contains glycerin to soften and hydrate the skin, Vitamin B3 to reduce the appearance of inflammation and fine lines, and Emblica Fruit Extract which is high in Vitamin C, an ingredient which brightens the skin and helps fight free radicals. Having used this for 2 weeks, I have noticed a slight improvement in the look of my skin and will continue to observe with time.

I was pleased to trial the elucent even tone exfoliating cleanser, it’s such a great alternative to using soap, as soap dries out your skin. I have the cleanser in my shower, it’s easy to use, and you don’t need much, it gently exfoliates at the same time as cleaning your skin. Avoid your eye area.My skin feels clean, looks brighter and smoother, and has a more even tone. Ego only use safe and reliable ingredients that are good for us and the environment, made in Australia with strict quality control , so we can feel safe using this product.I’m really pleased with the elucent even tone exfoliating cleanser, I have been using it with the night moisturiser and I’m happy with the way my skin feels and looks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jupiter from Gentle and doesn't irritate eyes [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cleanser is part of Elucent's even tone range and comes in a generous 150g snap-bottom tube. Seeing the product type of 'exfoliating cleanser', I was expecting to have to be careful with this cleanser and not use it every day. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how gentle it was. It has a creamy texture, there is a very fine foam that almost looks like an emulsion with very tiny bubbles if you look for them, and these very tiny beads that are almost unnoticeable that you could mistake as some grittiness. It is a rinse-off product, and leaves my skin feeling clean but not stripped and hydrated. It doesn't irritate my eyes. It's not one for removing a full face of make-up, but it does a good job removing daily face sunscreen. I can safely use this everyday, even on the days my skin is feeling a little sensitive, as long as I don't try to aggressively rub the beads in. In terms of ingredients, the surfactants are Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Lauryl Betaine. Glycerin and Sodium Lactate provide hydration and are high up on the list of ingredients. It has niacinamide, a superstar ingredient for brightening and anti-aging, oat kernel extract for soothing properties. There is also Emblica Fruit Extract, a natural source of vitamin C which is an antioxidant. The 'beads' are actually Cellulose Acetate which is of natural origin, so there is no danger here of any presence of polyethylene micro-beads. I can't really attribute any brightening effects to this product alone, and don't expect to since it is a rinse-off product. However, I can see how it works well in conjunction with the rest of the even tone range. I do like it as a face cleanser.

To me an exfoliating product is to be used every other day but a facial cleanser is to be used daily. When I read more about this product, it is recommended for daily use, morning and evening so I was so excited to try it. The cleanser has a lotion-like texture and when I apply it on my face, it feel very gentle on my face. Unlike some exfoliating product, this cleanser doesn't have the large particles that scrubs harshly on the skin, which puts me at ease to use it daily without damaging my skin. After rinsing off the product, my skin feels clean and fresh without feeling dry. The moisture remains on my skin which is amazing as some cleaners strips the hydration from my skin leaving my skin feeling dry after use. After one week of use, my skin doesn't have the dullness that it used to have. Affordable price for daily use.

No strong fragrance. This is not a cleanser to use as only cleanser if wearing makeup. As a second cleanse yes. Or only cleanser if not wearing makeup or heavy zinc sunscreens. I think as it does not disrupt skin's Ph, it leaves skin soft and normal after washing. Big amount of product in the tube, also good value. All I can notice while using it is that it is gentle, non stripping and a great basic cleanser. Does it exfoliate? Do not know. How to know this? My skin is smooth , but this also may be the case as I use skincare that may have been helping with this.

I am impressed with the smooth texture on my face after using at night, after I dab my face with a make up remover pad, with a bit of water applied. That alone would make this innovative product worth it. Thank you for being available to try out, from my recent attendance at BeautyHeaven's Best in Beauty Marketplace. It is a bit runny, yet ever so gentle on the face. Would I buy it after I have run out? I do not think so. Why? Because it does nothing to settle down a few spots of hormonal acne on the chin. It is a good face wash, in what is a saturated market. Still I am grateful for the opportunity to try it out, and if you are desiring a soft and gentle cleanser; then you have found what you are looking for on this page.
