The micellar cleansing water works like a gem, as it does help remove excess dirt and makeup off the face and feels amazing after hours, leaving with no irritations. Would totally recommend this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Miss19 from For those with sensitive and dry skin I am a huge fan of micellar water and I have used the original Garnier version several times as it is reasonably priced and makes removing my makeup so much easier. The newest one that has come out onto the market is the Garnier micellar cleansing water for delicate eyes and skin. This product is geared towards those who have sensitive skin and/or sensitive eyes and want to use a product that won't cause any stinging or any sensitivities. My skin can get quite sensitive at times due to prescription products that I use and my eyes are sensitive as well. I have to be careful as some micellar waters have made my eyes burn and sting which is why I was excited to trial this product out. The formula for this micellar water seems quite similar to the original one but this one is 'water in oil' while the other product I believe does not contain any oil. The bottle is very similar except this one is blue in colour and the consistency of the water seems quite similar. I poured it out onto a cotton ball and used it all over my face which was full of makeup. As it contains oil I was worried that my face might feel greasy while using it or that it would leave residue behind so those were things I was going to be keeping an eye on while using the product. I used it exactly how I normally would, starting from my forehead and then down to my cheeks, nose and chin. It helped dissolve my foundation and made removing it so effortless. I could see the micellar water just wiping it all away, leaving my face clean and makeup free. The micellar water was really hydrating and I didn't feel any oiliness with it either. My skin felt hydrated and soft! I always remove my eye makeup last as it's the messiest. I grabbed a new cotton ball, added the micellar water and placed it over my eye to get the product onto my lashes and soften the mascara off. That way I wouldn't have to put too much pressure on my eye when wiping it off. The micellar water was gentle and I felt no stinging or burning sensation. My eye makeup came off pretty well. It did require several cotton balls as it normally does but it did get the job done. It didn't leave me with panda eyes and my makeup was completely removed. The micellar water can be used on its own but I like to always follow up with a cleanser. Even when you're not wearing makeup you can use the product as a toner to soften and hydrate the skin as well as removing sunscreen.

Having previously used Garnier’s Micellar cleansing water, I had high expectations for this new product, and I was not at all disappointed. The bottle has a similar design to their previous products, made of clear plastic, which is especially effective as it allows you to see the separation between the micellar water, and the oil - and it’s also a really good reminder to shake the bottle before use! The water is easy to shake onto a cotton pad, and the bottle advertises that it has 200 uses in it - although I haven’t used it the many times yet, a little does seem to go a very long way, which is cost effective. Furthermore, it is soft on the skin, and effortlessly wipes away any and all makeup. It even passed the ultimate test of removing my post-night-out waterproof eyeliner and mascara with two swipes! Not only is the water highly effective in removing all traces of makeup, but it is also moisturizing, and would easily replace a toner for those who are looking to cut down their face-care collection. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an easy and skin-friendly way to remove makeup, whilst simultaneously nourishing your skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jovana c. from This blue coloured water (cornflower theme here going on, as it is in the formula as an "extract") with micellars does work well in dissolving the dirt off the face: spf, makeup, city grime. Even though it claims that it can be left on after removing impurities off the skin, I highly recommend to remove it with second cleanse. It contains silicones (not oil, there is no oil in this formula) and if you want best absorption of your good skincare, removing all of this is necessary. Plus the water is perfumed and contains colouring. Did not irritate my skin though. It is a water in oil micellar water and it is suitable for those who have sensitive skin. When it comes to removing makeup, the micellar water does a great job. I pour some of it onto a cotton ball and then wipe it across my face. It helps to remove everything, including eye makeup. The only thing I did not like was that it left my skin with an oily residue. I always follow up with a cleanser anyway so it didn't bother me too much.

First of all the price point of this product is wonderful, you get 400ml for less than $20 which is a bargain compared to some other product I've used. This product does exactly as it says and removes makeup, better than any other product i've used. Mascara and waterproof make-up literally just slides of with minimal effort. It really feels like it scrubs your pores free of any build up. The only down side i found is it does feel oily on the skin but i cleanse and wash my face afteruse so it isn't really an issue for me. I'm also prone to hormonal breakouts which i was worried about considering the oil component in this product but was pleasently surprised, this did not aggrivate or worsen my skin in anyway which is a major bonus. I will continue to purchase this as my make-up remover.

It has a strong scent I don't know how to describe but I'd prefer it if it had no added fragrance. It says to leave this on but it is quite oily and leaves a very oily residue so I wash it off. Overall, it does a fantastic job at removing stubborn makeup.

It’s simple to use, I use makeup pads for application and it removes all traces of dirt, makeup , oil and grime. It makes makeup removal quick and easy, who doesn’t love that? It’s economical and lasts for quite a while, so great value for money. I have sensitive skin and it’s great for that as it’s super gentle yet will remove even waterproof mascara. I would buy this product again. Love it and highly recommend it

I did not disappoint me but I have a slight impression that the original water in oil ( orange) is a tad more effective at removing eye make up. Nevertheless, Delicate eyes and skin is definitely gentle and does quite a great job removing make up. Some mascaras might be trickier to get rid off but I guess this is normal with any other make up remover. The plastic bottle is big but handy. We get 400ml of a product, which is great and lasts ages. All we have to do is to shake the bottle to mix the oil into the liquid and we are ready to go. The oil this time is blue in colour. I am glad there still is a slight scent to the product even though it is targeted for those with sensitive skin. I love my skincare products to have some fragrance. As a contact lenses wearer I can agree that this make up remover is gentle enough and does not irritate the eyes. Once again Garnier releases a great product. Well done.

You can see the difference between this product and the original micellar water. With the oil product floating in the top of the water, give the bottle a shake to mix together and apply to cotton pad. I found it to remove waterproof mascara easily and with minimal wiping, even with a scent in the product I found no irritation on the eyes. Great product in removing all makeup and leaves the skin feeling clean of impurities and fresh afterwards. Great for use before you start the day and after a long day wearing makeup. I would recommend this product for all skin types, and those who have sensitive skin or eyes. I will continue to use the product The bottle is a large size for a makeup remover. 400ml - 200 uses, which is great value for money.

I love the fact that it has no scent as well because that can be a problem for me in some skin care. The packaging is really nice, and I feel like this will last a long time, because it is effective and you really don't need to use much at all. I enjoy using this product to freshen up my skin, as its very hydrating and makes me feel like I'm doing something good for it. It never stung my eyes, which some micallar water do, even though they claim to be gentle. it's a good change up for the usual micellar water as this one really takes the dirt and grime off and you really do feel quite cleansed after using this great cleanser!

Rated 4 out of 5 by ktkoo from Really gentle and effective but strong scent I was lucky enough to trial this for BH, so thank you! I’ve used about 3 different micellar waters previously and this was definitely the most gentle on my skin, it didn’t irritate it at all. Even my eye area wasn’t angry after use so that’s a big plus for me! I used the micellar water on cotton pads after 2 engagement parties where I had thicker makeup on. It did remove it effortlessly but I still felt the need to cleanse first to remove the top layer and then finish with the micellar to really cleanse any residual makeup. But my lighter day to day makeup was ok to remove with just the micellar water. The biggest downside to this product for me is the really strong scent. I personally prefer unscented or neutral scents so this was too perfumery for my taste. I’d certainly recommend this for anyone with sensitive skin but wouldn’t purchase myself just because I can’t stand the scent.

If you’re like me and can’t resist shaking the bottles of separated liquid in the beauty isle to see how they look, this will keep you pleasantly amused. So, I’m always fascinated by products which combine two different events and are activated before use as they generally look cool in the bottle and are fun to shake and watch resettle. So it’s a yes from me for packaging and entertainment. Plus you always feel like it’s going to do something special when you can see that there is obviously different liquids that activate once mixed, kinda like being your own mad scientist, right? In terms of the actual product itself, once shook, I applied to a makeup removal pad and used to cleanse my face. It was super gentle on my skin and easy to glide over it without the harsh or dry feeling of others. It made my akin feel smooth and clean, provided I had used it quickly. Once you shake the bottle, you need to apply it straight to the pad and apply as I found that unlike other products with seperate liquids, this one separates back to its original form super quickly. If I didn’t shake it between using one pad and another, it definitely maintained a more oily consistency. However, it didn’t leave my face feeling super oily, but I definitely noticed the difference. The smell is super pleasant and the size of the bottle is super generous. I would definitely use this regularly, I would just advise having a little practice to know how to get the right consistency. I feel that if you didn’t shake it between every pad, you would very quickly run out of the pretty blue liquid on top. It is definitely a yes from me, I didn’t have any sensitivity or eye burning from the product and my skin can be quite sensitive. If you’re interested, definitely give it a go.

This cleansing water has become part of my normal routine especially for the morning. In my routine I use a pretty aggressive cleanser at night and was looking for a light cleanser for the morning. This fitted perfect into my routine, it was removing the bacteria and oil from my face without stripping the moisture from my skin. This allowed me to not have to add a moisturiser to my skin in the morning before makeup in the morning and helped with oil control over the course of the day. The product has a smell which I found okay but very sensitive skin may and contains a blue oil which separates after use very quickly. I was very impressed to also find that the bottle is 100% recyclable which is very good for the environment as you also don’t need to use water with this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Lizabella from Great but not perfect. I was lucky enough to be selected for the trial team for this micellar water, designed for delicate eyes and skin. I was excited to trial this, as I do have sensitive eyes that sting easily. It claims to easily remove even waterproof makeup without rubbing. The product comes in a clear bottle, with mostly clear liquid and a purple layer at the top. You shake the bottle to mix the two layers, and disperse on to a cotton pad to use. It is strongly fragranced, however this doesn't appear to irritate my eyes, and doesn't seem to last on my skin. It easily removes all makeup EXCEPT waterproof mascara. I found that I had to rub my eyes quite a few times and this then did cause irritation. I don't often wear waterproof mascara, so this isn't a huge concern for me. I really like the way my skin feels after using this micellar water, it doesn't feel sticky or slimy, and actually feels moisturised. It's the first micellar water I've used that doesn't leave me feeling like I need to wash my face afterwards. I tested using my Face Halo after using the micellar water to see if there was any makeup left over, and there wasn't, which is a huge tick. I'd recommend this product provided you're not expecting it to remove waterproof mascara, and you're not sensitive to fragrance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by PerfectProductPrincess87 from A very pleasant and effective way to cleanse skin I used this product in the mornings (as I don’t shower in the morning, only at night) and I also used it during the day after exercise or whenever I felt the need for a freshen up if I didn’t have time for a shower. I was very excited to try this product as I had heard about it for a while prior and was always curious but never bother to purchase it. I found it to be very deeply and easily cleansing for my skin. It easily removed makeup without stinging my skin or eyes and I was surprised with how much extra dirt and grime it removed, particularly when I tried using it on my chest and shoulders. It smelled very pleasant and left a lovely soft smooth feeling to my skin without any residue which helped makeup glide on beautifully afterwards. My face always felt extra clean and moisturised. I found myself using 5-8 cotton pads per use of the Micellar Water. Perhaps I didn’t need to use this many but I found they got dirty very quickly and I felt the need to use another one rather than continue wiping makeup and dirt around my face. I feel like I would go through a lot of cotton pads over time! I also found that each time I squirted/poured the Micellar Water onto a cotton pad I would get a small amount of spillage occurring down the side of the bottle. This wasn’t particularly concerning or annoying but would equate to a bit of wastage over time.

It didn't reduce the steps in my routine as I still felt that my eye makeup wasn't completely removed, but it shortened the amount of rubbing I would need using my oil cleanser. It left a slight residue on the skin, but this didn't bother too much because I would still double cleanser after using it. It has a really pleasant fragrance and was easy to use like Garnier's other micellar waters. I do prefer this one to the normal pink one as I felt it was more effective on things like mascara and liquid eyeliner. The colour is pretty cool as it's like a blue/lilac especially when you have given it a good shake. Overall it was a really great product and I will continue to use it regularly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jazlovestoskate from Does a good job but made my eyes water Garnier's new Micellar cleansing water in oil for delicate eyes and skin is a good addition to the range of micellar cleansers out there. It's a generously sized 400ml bottle that equals to about 200 uses and the floating oil in the water is reminiscent of popular similar looking products in the 90s! At first touch it feels just like water but with a very, slight moisturising oil and a lovely light scent thats not overpowering. To use simply apply to a face towel or cotton pad and rub your make-up off. I found that my eyes did water a bit when rubbing off all my make-up unfortuantly so tried to avoid taking my eye make-up off with it after that but it worked well for the rest of my face make-up. After using my skin felt very soft and moisturised, kind of like that baby bottom soft feeling skin! I would recommend it as a cleanser but would avoid getting it in your eyes as for me it wasnt suitable for eye make-up removal.

You just put it on a cotton pad and it takes of all your makeup and its really gentle. I kept using it everyday and was equally impressed. The only thing was that it left my face feeling very greasy it says you don't need to wash off but I did because it was way too greasy. I love how gentle it is on the face and how you don't need to scrub hard and the makeup comes off. I did notice that once I took my makeup off and then stepped it the shower I came out with mascara all around my eyes even though I thought I had taken it all off. So I am not sure why this happens. I like the smell of the product its not too strong and was relaxing too me. I wish there was another way to use it though as it is very wasteful using 6 cotton pads each time I take my makeup off. I am use to using the makeup remover towel which is waste free. All in all I am impressed and will continue to use the product but as this stage am not sure if I will repurchase. Thank you for the opportunity to test this product.

The packaging is of a nice colour and quite generous in size. I would say it is economical as only a little goes a long way. Lavendar liquid that smells pleasant and refreshing. I mostly used this cleansing liquid to take off my makeup amd when Ive been out. The cleanser feels gentle and very moisturizing on sensitive parts like eye lids,and eye brows.Removes makeup well and great for residual makeup eg masacra on lower lashes when you get out of the shower. I highly recommend as its great for a quick refresh during the day where you dont have to bother too much in getting your face wet. The lid is easy to open and I tilt it so very slightly onto a cotton pad. I find you only need a little dab for your eyes.Highly recommend and what would be good if it came in wipes form too for travel. Doesnt leave skin dry.

This product comes in a nice bottle and is quite easy to dispense out onto a make up pad. I firstly noticed that the product has quite a scent I am a little unsure about it. I have combination skin and it removed my makeup quite well. The only thing is when wearing waterproof mascara it’s quite hard to remove and I needed to press quite hard to remove fully. But removed other make up quite well just needed to have a good amount on the make up pad. The other thing I noticed was it made my skin quite dry after and I needed to apply a lot of moisturiser. Overall this is a great product that I would purchase and use again, it is a great price and easy to purchase. Give it a go!

As part of the trial team I used this micellar water in the morning to cleanse my face and at night to remove my makeup for several weeks. Overall, my view on the product itself - the liquid inside the bottle that is - is positive. However, for me the packaging turned out to be very limiting, to the point where I can't really recommend it based on my own experience. The product smells very fresh and soapy, which I find pleasant, but the scent is very strong - so if you are sensitive to smells, keep this in mind. I find the smell really pleasant and neutral and a fresh way to start the day. Once on my skin the product removed LOTS of makeup and dirt with ease, and left my skin feeling smooth, hydrated and clean. This is definitely the most moisturizing-feeling micellar water I have ever used; I skipped moisturizer on some days and my skin still felt really hydrated and soft throughout the day. That is a big, big plus for me! When I did use moisturizer, I feel like the micellar water helped my skin soak it up more smoothly, quickly and evenly. I have sensitive eyes and my skin gets very sensitive from time to time (this seems to be random) and this product never irritated my eyes or skin in any way, so I didn't have to be careful in how much of the product went where on my face, which is awesome. However... the reason for me that this product didn't get the fifth star, and I can't recommend it, is because of the packaging. Now mind you, it's not Garnier's fault that the cap on my product arrived in the mail broken - HOWEVER - with this type of product (which requires SERIOUS shaking on a daily basis) the lid just shouldn't be that breakable or fragile. There should be a second failsafe in the cap/lid mechanism in case one of the two locks breaks, or it should just be a screw-on top. Because with this product, once the very small pin in the lid that snaps it shut is broken, the product is virtually impossible to use. That's such a huge downside for a daily product that you would want to take with you when you travel, or with you in your bag to freshen up. In my case, using this product daily with a snapped off pin in the lid, the product went all over my sink no matter how well I pushed the lid shut (you should just be able to push the lid shut and it be sealed) because the lid itself is not airtight. This was such a huge, huge hassle and made me not look forward to using the product. Again, I realize it's not Garnier's fault if something broke off in the mail, however with a product that 100% HAS to be shaken before use to even be usable, there just has to be a way to keep using it even if the pin breaks off. The fact that the lid isn't airtight without the pin is really such a shame. Once they reconsider their packaging, I would recommend this product to absolutely anyone because it's so hydrating, it doesn't irritate, it smells fresh and it really encapsulates several skin routine steps in one go.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MrsRobinson from Gentle Makeup Remover This is a great make up removing micellar. I don't mind the smell, and at no stage did it irritate my sensitive skin or eyes. It is perfect for removing makeup including eye makeup - and I usually wear longwear foundation dusted over with powder and waterproof mascara. While the residue it leaves isn't what I'd call greasy, a residue very much remains, and it is not one I would be comfortable leaving it on my skin. However, for me a micellar is only ever a one-of-two steps of cleansing, and even using Bioderma I follow with a face wash, so this certainly isn't a deal breaker for me. (I just don't particularly like they mentioned "no residue" as I'm betting it will annoy anyone who buys it thinking that.) I find it less stripping than some normal micellars, better around the eyes than most and doesn't sting, and also don't have to rub very much, all of which means it suits my sensitivities very well. I'll definitely be considering purchasing this, especially when it's such good value, and only the price of my current eye makeup remover.

So I was actually really surprised this product worked as well as it did at removing my makeup and even with the added oil didn’t leave my skin feeling like it needs another actual wash. I enjoyed the smell and so far it is my favourite micellar water I’ve used.

It is a non-greasy, all in one solution that was so gentle; it leaves skin relaxed, feeling refreshed and beautifully hydrated. It comes in a generous 400ml size bottle, simply shake well and apply to face, eyes and lips with a cotton pad. No need for rubbing or rinsing and it is a product that I would happily recommend to others. I look forward to having this as part of my regular beauty regime and the quality is of the highest standard. It suited my sensitive skin perfectly and it did not have an over powering scent which other products can have sometimes. A great value for money micellar water and good for everyday use, I applied both morning & in the evening and found this worked best for me personally.

It was great at taking off my mascara but i did like to finish with rinsing it off after, something i dont need to do with the original. I love it as a precleanse treatment before i go in with my normal cleanser.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rachel B. from I am currently using the Garnier micellar water for normal skin, but I was keen to trial this version formulated for sensitive eyes and skin as I wear contact lenses. This product was very easy to use and as with the other micellar products in the range, removed makeup, even waterproof mascara, effortlessly. The only thing stopping me from giving this five stars is that I didn’t like the slight greasy sensation left on my skin after application (though this could be because I didn’t shake it well enough before using it). This faded within a minute or so, leaving my skin feeling cleansed, but as I have naturally very oily as well as sensitive skin, I was not keen on this. Due to this fact I I think I will stick to using the normal skin version. Though it is not suitable and for me I recommend this product for people who have skin which is easily irritated, as this product removes all makeup no matter how heavy, quickly and easily with no effort, pressure, or scrubbing required!

It definately removed my makeup easily and gently, however with my eye makeup I found it required 2-3 soaked cotton pads. \nAlthough it initially leaves a slightly greasy layer on your skin, this absorbs in well and leaves the skin feeling soft and clean, without clogging the pores or drying out the skin. \nThe only criticism I have is that I personally found the fragrance, while nice, a bit too strong. All in all though, I found this product lived up to its promises. \nI'd recommend it to anyone who has sensitive skin or who wants a gentle yet effective Micellar product. \n
