Directions

Use the CeraVe Foaming Cleanser for oily skin as the first step in your skin care routine. This oil free cleanser can also be used as a full body wash.
Rinse face or body with lukewarm water and massage the cleanser onto your skin in a gentle, circular motion.
Wash off the cleanser from face and body
For best results, follow with application of the CeraVe AM Facial Moisturising Lotion SPF 15 in the morning and PM Facial Moisturising Lotion in the evening.

Being a foaming cleanser I expected it to be quite a thin and soapy consistency, so was worried it might be drying. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it actually quite thick and the texture was halfway between a gel and an oil. It foams a bit but not heaps, enough to feel like it’s giving a good clean but still feels like it’s hydrating and not stripping or drying the skin. The smell is nice and the dispenser is easy to use. It won’t replace my chemical exfoliant cleanser but will use it for that first cleanse to remove make up before exfoliation. It’s a great price point for a second cleanser too and sometimes I even used it on my body.

I don’t have a lot of pimples but this honestly cleared up whatever I did have and kept my face feeling nice and clean. I like that you can use it 2 times a day so I tend to use an exfoliating brush to work it into my skin and pores, I feel like it works better like that for me. I noticed it helped me control my oily skin a bit too which is always a good plus. For my sensitive skin, it worked really well where with other brands sometimes Id break out for a bit starting the new product and then it would get better but I didn’t have that issue with this one.

It’s so gentle to use my sensitive skin has reacted really well with it. No irritation at all, visible improvements to my hormonal skin break outs and works an absolutely treat with the rest of my skin care products. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone looking for a new everyday cleanser. I kept mine in the shower and found it was also very effective at the end of the day to remove any build up on my skin from the day and also removing make up. I love this product and will be purchasing again!

The price is great for the size and the foaming cleanser is lightweight and really helps to get rid of excess oil off your face without leaving your skin feeling tight or dry. I use half a pump and mix it with water which helps to create the foam. I like to apply it all over my face in circular motions and then wash it off. Sometimes I like to use my facial brush with the cleanser for a deep clean. The cleanser contains ceramides, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide providing a gentle clean without affecting the skin barrier. So far I can see that my skin is looking great - clear, even and glowing. It also does a great job of removing makeup and sunscreen. I can see myself using this cleanser for years to come.

Very very gentle on the skin whilst effectively cleaning off all the dirt and grime from your day. I find it’s the perfect balance of cleansing but not drying out of the skin. For the very affordable cost, it is an excellent excellent product. Couldn’t recommend more. Will become a staple in my routine, and will be my go to cleanser going forward. The cleanser foams once you emulsify in your hands, allowing you to get that great ‘clean’ feel on your face, really feeling like it is taking your day off. After rubbing into your face, your face feels clean, clear and fresh but you do not get that ‘tight’ feeling you may get from some other cleaners.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A solid choice for foaming cleanser I'm now onto my second bottle of this foaming gel cleanser. Even though the label says for 'normal to oily skin', it's so gentle and non-stripping that my husband with dry skin prone to irritation can use it without any issues. We both use it on the face. This formula has 3 essential ceramides and hyaluronic acid, which are excellent active ingredients for the skin. It's also fragrance-free, sulfate-free, hypoallergenic. It comes in an easy-to-use pump dispenser bottle in either 236ML or 473ML. We liked the first bottle so much that we got the big bottle the second time. The cleanser creates a soft foam, it's unscented and doesn't irritate even when worked around the eye area. It effectively removes sweat and oil from the face and doesn't irritate my skin when it is in a slightly sensitised condition. It is non-stripping and doesn't leave your skin squeaky clean, which is a good thing, as it is keeping the skin barrier intact. It's also low pH which is recommended for facial cleansers. After rinsing, I can feel the slightly hydrating effect from the hyaluronic acid. This cleanser isn't great at removing stubborn/waterproof make-up or very water-resistant sunscreen. I'm fine with that as I expect to use a cleansing oil or balm first. This is just a great cleanser at a fantastic price point that's safe for most people. Highly recommended.

I have tried most foam cleaners and this one is the best by far across all price ranges. With an ëasy to use" pump bottle it foams instantly when mixed with water and leaves my skin feeling super clean without the dryness that other cleaners give. After use your skin looks fresh and glowing like never before. At a reasonable price of $15-18 and you will see what I mean a

I use this product after I take my makeup off and clean my face. I use is daily during the day and night. It's a very hydrating product and leaves my face feeling great. My skin is very normal to dry so if you have that skin type I recommend. This products gel feeling is amazing I love the way it applies to the skin and has a great impact on the skin. From the past couple months this product has made my skin less dry and my makeup is no longer patchy.

It is so affordable and such a little drop goes a long way. The smell is a little distinctive but overall I love it. It’s ALWAYS sold out at Walmart so I would buy online. I pair this with my Cerave AM sunscreen! The ingredients are not harsh but do leave you feeling clean! I would recommend this to anyone with oily skin. It can be comparable to the Murad acne cleanser too! I feel this is a cheaper alternative

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favourite CeraVe Cleanser This is my favourite CeraVe cleanser right in front of the SA cleanser. I have oily skin with dry patches where blemishes used to be and some scarring. I find that this cleanser washes away everything without leaving my skin feeling tight. I use this cleanser morning and night. At night I find that when double cleansing, all makeup and sunscreen is removed and my skin feels fresh! After using this cleanser I follow it up with the moisturising cream from the same brand and my skin has never felt better. This product is fragrance free which agrees with my skin sensitivity and it also agrees with my skincare philosophy. The great part is that it is not expensive. Even my husband agrees this is his favourite! I would highly recommend this product as it is very versatile in terms of skin types it can be used for. I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this!! This is my go to cleanser! I was previously using the ordinary squalene cleanser and thought it was doing a great job until this beauty was added to my routine. My skin actually feels so clean after use. I use this as my first cleanser on make up days followed by a marine cleanser and not a trace of makeup is left. On no make up days just this one is used. I have very oily skin and this has made a huuuuuge improvement on the shine I always get towards the end of the day. Even my husband who thinks skin care is a money trap has been using this in the shower!

I used CeraVe's other foaming cleansers, but this one has to be the best. The ingredient list is amazing, and the addition of niacinamide in this cleanser keeps my acne away. The price point for this product is great, making it a very affordable product for anyone on a budget. I use it only once a day, and it doesn't leave my skin feeling stripped or oily. I would definitely recommend this product/brand to anyone who wants to try something new!

It comes out of the bottle as a creamy but slightly watery texture. it has a foaming texture with a cleansing feel. it feels very smooth on skin and is very gentle cleanser and your skin will feel great after using. it is good at removing both non-oil and oil based products. I bought this with my own money and I don't regret it at all, it is great for its price and lasts for a long time. I bought mine at chemist warehouse and it was very cheap and it came in a big bottle.

My skin is not too oily i only get oil around my T zone and this cleanser is perfect for the combination skin as it is very gentle on the skin. i also love that it doesn't have any strong smell. because I'm kinda picky when it comes to strong smell cleanser.I have been using this Cera Ve cleanser since early 2020.I use it in the evening on face, neck and décolleté.very happy i brought this. It is a great everyday wash that doesn't have any of the harsh ingredients, would recommend to everyone!

This foaming wash cleaned my skin of all my leftover make-up as a second cleanse, or on the days I do not wear makeup just by itself. Leaves my skin feeling clean and not striped of all its oils. I will never need another cleanser because this one is amazing. It has no fragrance and doesn't dry out your skin, while making your skin beautiful and clear. I struggle with combination skin and this face wash has helped me balance these issues.

Lately, I have been breaking out from many different cleansers and this does the exact opposite of that! At first, I was quite skeptical because of the price but it is worth it! I have only used this product for 2 weeks (morning and night), and I have already noticed amazing results in my skins feeling, look and how I feel on the inside. Definitely recommend this product to anyone with combination skin, hyperpigmentation and acne.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked wonders I wasn’t sure about buying this product the review on chemist ware about this product not being up to people’s standards threw me Off but I purchased anyways because I have researched cerave online and know what ingredients are used and all I can say is that I couldn’t be more happier with it. it most DEFINITELY foams up and leaves your skin feeling clean and fresh not dried up at all will definitely but again when bottle finishes it’s made my skin look and feel fresh and hydrated I also purchased the cerave moisturizer it’s just a perfect combo really they done well with their products I have to admit
