I have sensitive skin so moisturisers that contain SPF usually leave my skin tingly and a bit stingy - especially if I work out and start to sweat. This product didn't have that effect, so for me it's a winner. The SPF definitely protects and the cream soaks in nicely without leaving a greasy feeling. I was able to put my make-up on straight away - there was no need to wait for it to soak in first. I felt protected and hydrated all day after spending time in the sun and in air conditioning.

Most products i try with SPF tend to clog my pores or leave my face feeling greasy and as though its suffocating. I have super sensitive skin and was worried that this would make my skin break out in a rash, but to my surprise my skin is in the best shape it has been in for years.

It is now my new go-to product that I use every day. Any form of SPF usually irritates my eyes and skin and I often break out but sunscreen is so important to use every day, especially on your face but I could never find a product that works as good as this. After washing my face I use this product all over my face and neck, let it soak in for a few minutes then apply my makeup as per usual and amazingly it did not affect the texture and look of my makeup at all, in fact, it stayed on longer than usual.

This product suited both my needs, and was great to use after my daily routine of cleansing and toning. Highly recommend for people who are short for time in the morning, but also just for everyday Australians who need protection from UV rays/sun damage.

Its not as moisturising as the PM formula I find my dry skin requires another moisturiser on top, it also doesn't feel quite as nice on the skin as the PM, there is a subtle white cast which fades out after a few minutes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent for winter months This is Cerave's face moisturiser for AM. It comes in a 52ml tube. It has SPF15 broad spectrum protection from a mix of Homosalate, Meradimate, Octinoxate, Octocrylene and Zinc Oxide - i.e. both organic and inorganic sunscreen filters. Like other cerave moisturisers, it has 3 ceramides and hyaluronic acid and is fragrance-free and non-comedogenic. Both the AM and PM face moisturisers have the addition of niacinamide. It comes in a pump, which is probably an indication of how much to apply to achieve labelled sun protection. This face lotion is very pleasant to use, it's light but hydrating, absorbs quickly and does not interfere with make-up. There is no white cast even though there is zinc oxide in the formula. It keeps my face moisturised and comfortable. At first I thought this wasn't good enough with SPF 15, but it's turns out that it's in the colder months in Australia, the UV index can become lower than 3 which means sun protection is not strictly necessary. So I've been happily using this in the past month and will continue using it throughout the winter months. Whilst this is a nice all-in-one product for the colder months with good ingredients and is very pleasant to use, if you already have niacinamide in your other skincare products, it may be better value to just use the normal Cerave moisturising lotion, which is about $15 for 236ml and layer a nice face sunscreen on top.

I do feel a little insecure with just SPF 15 protection especially in summer, and save this for the colder months when the UV index is low. Whilst this is a nice all-in-one product with good ingredients and pleasant to use, I feel that it's not for me as I prefer a higher SPF face sunscreen layered over the normal Cerave moisturising lotion, which is about $15 for 236ml. I also get niacinamide from other serums in my skincare routine. I think this would be good for those who want a very basic skincare routine.

The consistency of this moisturizer is not bad. I have tried other moisturizers with spf together although they were good I do prefer this one product. This moisturizer just works better for me and my skin type this might not be for every skin type or to other peoples liking. I love the way this makes my skin look. I really didn’t expect this moisturizer to be this good it’s great on my skin and does the job

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Eyes can be sensitive to the SPF I bought this product a week ago to complement the excellent serum and eye cream duo that I have been using for 6 months. However, I noticed a stinging in my eyes each time I used it and after eliminating other obvious causes of eye stinging, realised it was the cream. I would attribute the stinging to the SPF ingredient in the cream. So, if you have sensitive eyes, this is something to watch out for.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for Dry Skins One of the first products I tried from the brand. I love that it comes in this pump as it was easy to access the product. I really enjoyed using this as a light, moisturising lotion with a low spf count. It's great for normal-dry skin types and worked fine for me when my skin wasn't acting up. It has a lightweight and easily absorbed lotion. It didn't leave a greasy feel or irritated my skin. The only thing I'd like to see improve is offering a higher spf lotion. I found that I would only use this around the house and would much rather prefer to use a moisturising spf 30-50 when I stepped outside of my home.

I find that if I rub it in, I get crumbling product? I don't know how to explain it well. When I pat it on to my skin, it sits nicely and absorbs well enough.

It's quick and easy to spread around the face because it's such a runny product. It has spf. It seems to blend into the skin very easily and that might be to do with the fact that it has adjustable pigments in it and also why there is only a couple of shades in the range. Glow serum to a smooth skin

I found that wearing it under make up left my skin looking rather oily so if you’re naturally oily, this might not be the right product for you! But it’s great for WFH times like we’re experiencing now.

It does glide onto the skin pretty nice. I really like the pump bottle as it is easy to use and I don't worry about it leaking in my bag. Another bonus is it doesn't go onto the skin too white from the sunscreen.

It doesn't feel greasy or chalky after application and is easy to apply. It is a perfect base for makeup and absorbs quickly ,my make up lasts all day with this as my base. I usually apply an extra later of sunscreen with a higher SPF on top of this lotion but it still feels light. It is hydrating, feels comfortable on my skin and makes my face feel moisturised all day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightweight daily moisturiser with SPF [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cerave AM moisturiser is lightweight and non-greasy when used and I find it has been working well with my foundation (no fluffs or clumps). The combination of ingredients is quite unique with a mixture of ceramides, hydraluronic acid and niacinamides all working cohesively to achieve better skin. After a few weeks of use I haven't noticed a significant difference in the texture of my skin however I love the idea that it works by adding more much loved ingredients into my skincare. It is SPF 15 which for myself personally is enough for running errands but for a day out I find I need to use another moisturiser in top (if only it was SPF 50!). It also comes in a pump bottle which I love for ease of use. Overall, would definitely recommend for this moisturiser for anyone looking for an affordable day time cream.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A basic moisturiser I really love the original PM Cerva facial moisturising lotion. Very similar in texture and consistency. I love that CeraVe use quality ingredients such as ceramides, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide- a lovely cocktail to replenish and nourish the skin, keeping it hydrated throughout the day. This lotion is also great for people who don't love strong smelling and chemical-free products as it is paraben-free, fragrance free, allergy tested, oil-free and non-comedogenic. No break outs or rashes in sight. The one downside of this AM formulation, however, is that the SPF is too low. SPF 15 needs to be at least SPF30, especially in the Australian sun. Perhaps this is something CeraVe could work on. If the SPF was higher, I would have given this product an extra star.
