Rated 4 out of 5 by from WOW! What a beautiful Highlighter. The pigment is very intense and beautiful. I applied some with my finger on my cheekbones, and bridge of my nose. The colour pay off was immense. It is a beautiful colour, the texture is incredibly smooth and soft. I found this product is pigmented enough to be worn alone.  I was very happy with this amazing product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I enjoy this highlighter every day and never had a problem once. This is the most amazing powder highlighter I've ever used. It creates an amazing shine that looks great especially in pictures. You get a lot of product and despite my constant use I have yet to even create a dent in the pan. As soon as you put it on you can instantly tell you're glowing in a very heavenly goddess glow. It's such a cheap priced highlighter but it's AMAZING quality. I definitely wish Maybelline release other colours and continue creating other highlighters in this formula. It applies on a make up brush easily and you just have to glide it on your face for it to come on. Never had a problem with chunky highlight or powder everywhere.

Unfortunately this product did not received 5 stars as there is only one shade readily available. If you have deeper toned skin, this product would be 100% for you, although the gold was definitely not my cup of tea. If it was a champagne hue - it would definitely get 5 stars from me!\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Maybelline master chrome highlighter is highly pigmented and applies, builds and blends well. \n\nI used the molten gold shade and have fair skin so found the shade wasn’t the best highlighter colour for my skin tone and the make up looks I go for which tend to be on the cooler end of the spectrum but it did add some depth and warmth and would be great for a night in low lighting.\n\nI think it’s a good highlighter for the price and to have in the collection to change a look up. \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is definitely a must have highlighter. It's extremely pigmented and doesn't have a lot of fall out. It last literally all day long though blood, sweat, and tears. The colour is lovely and it would complement any skin tone. Since the highlighter is so pigmented it can double up as an eyeshadow as well. You can also pat it over your lipstick to help your lipstick stay all day long and give it a really nice glow for the summer. This product is so versatile and everyone should have it in their makeup bag for the summer.

When you build it up, it results in a gorgeous metallic finish that looks beautiful and expensive on the skin. Used softly it gives a gorgeous golden glow. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a new highlighter. I think it would suit a range of skins tones as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is a highlighter with a brilliant payoff and is great value!\n\nThe Master Chrome highlighter is really easy to apply, it is a very finely milled powder that feels almost creamy. I applied it directly to the skin with my fingers first, but found it a little hard to blend out. I found it applied best with a fan brush over foundation. The formula was a more glittery than I would like, however the shimmer particles are very small so you could get away with it as an everyday highlighter. The gold colour is probably a little dark for me, as I have pretty fair skin (MAC NC15).\n\nYou only have to apply a little as it is really well pigmented, although I think it could be quite easy to go overboard with this highlighter. When applied over foundation it looked fab and caught the light on my cheekbones beautifully. I was surprised at how long it lasted, I wore for over 8 hours and still looked great.\n\nI do tend to wear more natural looking makeup so the Master Chrome highlighter is probably a little too much for me for everyday, but I love it for a going out makeup look. I also think it would look lovely as an eye shadow.\n\nI would definitely recommend if you have medium or darker toned skin and love a bold highlight.\n\nPros:\n- Brilliant formula\n- Great colour pay-off\n- Long lasting\n- Well priced\n\nCons:\n- Not great on fair skin\n- Easy to go overboard\n- Packaging looks a little cheap\n

I'm a convert for sure! Packaging is cute and it can be applied with a highlighter brush or just using your finger!

This product can also by used as a shimmery eyeshadow. The colour would suit any skin tone and helps create a finished makeup look. I would highly recombined this product to anyone.

The highlighter was great over foundation or alone and worked perfectly with my existing contouring products. For a ‘drug store’ highlighter I would definitely recommend trying it- maybe even over expensive competitors!

I was pleasantly surprised that upon application, my skin had a natural glow and I liked that I could build it up for evenings. Highly recommend this to anyone!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was amazed at how stunning this looked on my skin! It isn't a shimmery or chunky highlighter in any way - it's truly does look like molten gold! I have quite fair skin so I have to be extremely cautious with how much I apply, but I can make it work by mixing it in with my bronzer for that sunkissed Summer glow. It's a very smooth powder and I didn't find it to emphasize any uneven texture on my skin which is always great. If you're after a blinding highlight that can be seen from miles away, wetting your brush will definitely intensify it for a nighttime look. A part from the shade not being quite right for my skin tone, I think it's an absolutely beautiful highlighter!

This Maybelline highlighter not only looks reflexive in the container, it worked on liquid foundation perfectly and catches light beautifully when applied onto my face as well! However, the bronzy gold was a bit too warm for my fair skin tone, therefore it did slightly emphasise the texture especially on my cheeks, but I would definitely recommend this to warmer skin tones for any occasion!\n\n

I found this was a great everyday one, was subtle , gave control over how much to use, able to gradually build up to the desired amount. I’m quite pale, it was a really nice natural way of adding a bit of colour without anything else. I also tried it with a full face of makeup, and found it gave a nice gentle touch of glow - perfect for work.\nWent on very nice, and lasted quite well through a bit of heat and outdoor activities. \nOverall- I was very impressed and would recommend.\n

It is a really nice colour where it wasn’t too dark or too light for my lightly tanned skin but I’m not sure how universal it’d be for others. It isn’t as finely milled as other highlighters so I wouldn’t over apply it cause it could end up really chunky.

It lasts all day and applies so nicely. Has a buttery consistency and isn't powdery at all. Great price, would recommend, It did emphasise texture slightly.

In addition, there is also a while lotta product in the tin so you are definitely getting a lot of bang for your buck.\nMy only complaint is that it doesn't come in more shades. I am far to fair skinned for this colour, which would work better on bronzed, olive or golden skin tones. In particular, this would be a great highlighter on Asian skin tones due to the gold and warmth. However, because I loved it so much, I am now using it as the most amazing golden eyeshadow. Win!\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This highlighter was a really nice products to wear during the day / at work and wasn’t too in-your-face glittery.  I find that sometimes highlighters can look almost dirty (if they are too bronzed in colour) but this one is quite and good for day time make up. This highlighter sat easily with my foundation and didn’t look caked or unnatural.  I would recommend this product for a low key daytime glow. \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was lucky enough to be given this highlighter as part of a review and for a drug store brand, this highlighter performed as well as a high end brand. \n\nPigment and reflection were pearly and perfect, consistency was very buttery and not powdery at all, which surprised me. No fall out when using the product with a brush, which I used to applied to my cheekbones, top of my nose and Cupid’s bow. \n\nAll in all, it did emphasise texture a little but it lasted well throughout the day and I’d happily recommend this as it’s a great product for it’s price point. \n

Must say the highlight isn't as finely milled as other highlighters, but the colour pay off for this product is great. Very much worth the money. Would recommend!

It is very pigmented and gives a really bold golden highlight, so I would not recommend this product if you like a more subtle glow that blends into your makeup like I do. This product is definitely more suited to night time use (it might be a bit over the top for everyday use) but is quite long lasting. I think this product would suit darker skin better than lighter skin- I would consider re-purchasing this product if it came out in a lighter shade.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's a super intense buttery pigmented gold shade that would show up as a highlight on darker skin tones to me but since I'm very fair I don't feel it highlights very well. I can use this as an eyeshadow or lightly as a bronzer topper but it's nicer on the eyes. It contains a lot of multi dimensional glitter which is not finely milled enough for my liking. It has some fallout too. Perhaps the sparkle would better suit night wear. I just don't reach for it much though.

I trialled the molten gold 100 of this product for 2 weeks, and would recommend it to those who do use these products.\n\nAlthough it is advertised as a highlighter, this product has versatility. I have very fair skin, and the darkness of the shade allowed for it to double as a bronzer with a heavier application. Application was easy and seamless, without affecting my foundation.\n\nCons - I would have opted for a lighter shade as there was a fine line between highlighting and bronzing that was hard to maneuver at times. Also, the product is a little overkill on the shimmer for my taste.\n

Great for night time glow with its shimmer and sparkle. I have oily skin and even so found that it didn't make it look like an oil spill across my face. Would definitely recommend!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I don't use a highlighter regularly as I have an olive skin with a very oily face so using a highlighter usually makes my face really shiny. \nI agree with the others that the packaging is not the best and the lid can sometimes be hard to open.\nThe product is not overpowering and gives you some shimmer but I find that it transfers to your clothes so easily. I do like that you don't have to use a lot to get the desired effect. It's okay for me but not the best.\n
