1. Start with a clean eye area.

2. Apply tape at the outer corner of your eye angled towards your temple.

3. Begin drawing the line from inner corner to outer corner. Use the tape like a ruler and draw the line along the edge of the tape - don't worry if it bleeds onto the tape since it will be removed.

The 0.05mm brush is just perfect and makes 'winging it' easier than ever. Overall it's a great product that I'll use for night-time adventures!

I usually don't prime, I have two powder eyeshadow shades and this accentuated the eyelash line very beautifully. It feels like a nice art pen and makes an excellent addition to my collection. Perfect liner to create a nice, simple & clean eye line look.\nThe colour is pigmented and even though the colour fades a little bit throughout the day for me because my eye lids gets a bit oily & watery (because i wear eye contacts too!), the colour does not smudge all over my eye/face, which is awesome. \nOverall, I enjoyed wearing this liner and i have no problem recommending it to friends & family. \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was really impressed with this - I love the look of liquid eyeliners but usually find them hard (and messy!) to apply. This liner does exactly what it says on the packaging, the fine pointed tip really does allow you to get thin precise lines. I found it easy to hug my lash line and keep my liner thin and subtle, which is how I like it. The easy control even gave me the confidence to try a little cat's eye flick which was nice. It's a lovely intense black and seems to stay in place well once on. My only criticism is I don't think the lid to the pen fits well, it doesn't 'click' into place like my other liner which makes me wonder if it will dry up easily. That said, I have a high end liquid liner pen of a similar design, and I think I got better, cleaner, more precise results with this, and little if any product is wasted. I'll be buying this in future if the lid issue isn't a problem!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Winged eyeliner is my jam and liquid liner pens are my tool of choice. I was so excited to try this one out and Maybelline did not disappoint! The felt tip is the perfect length and has the right mobility (not too stiff but not as mobile as a brush tip) which makes achieving a wing super easy. I like that the tip isn't too thin either but still allows for a precise, sharp application. The formula is nice but isn't super black so that's where the 1 star was taken off. In saying that, this eyeliner does have great lasting power and dries to a lovely matte finish which is what I look for.

The tip is quite fine and the product flows out quite evenly making it easy to create a crisp line. It can be a little fiddly to create a winged look but with a bit of practice this product can get you there! The colour is quite pigmented, creating a solid black defined line but this can be quite dramatic so if you are looking for a softer eyeliner this might not be the one for you. It would be great to see this product in a range of shades!

I found it very thin and as it dries down, to a matte finish, it doesn't feel heavy or crusty on my eyelid like I find with some eyeliners. In removing the product I was using coconut oil and found that to work well. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a eyeliner.

So trying this I was ready to be disappointed ..... but I wasnt ! It went on so smoothly, was a beautiful crisp black and felt lovely and light when applied . The tip is so thin , making even more detailed looks easy to achieve . I was thrilled that when dry it did not move ! No transferring on to anywhere it shouldnt !  Such value for money too . Would highly recommend this product to others .

The tip is as precise as advertised, and it didn't 'drag' on the eyelid as some eyeliners do.\nI found it to be very long lasting - it survived multiple seperate days and nights out.\n\nHowever, it's not as pigmented as I would like, I find the colour turns a bit grey - but I do like the 'blackest black' possible.\n\nAll in all, I will keep reaching for this. It's really easy to apply a precise wing, and it doesn't smudge during wear. Hopefully Maybellene brings out a blacker version in the future which I would definitely purchase.

The formula is also forgiving as it doesn't smear when fixing up mistakes with a cotton bud. Only downside is that the product did give me panda hours after 6+ hours.

I do not have the steadiest hands and therefore creating a cat eye or even a straight line always ends up being a disaster every time. \nHowever I really liked the design of this liquid eyeliner pen. It did help to give a nice precise thin line. The tip of the eyeliner is nice and fine. So overall I am quite happy with this eyeliner.\n

I normally prefer a brush tip on and eyeliner pen, however the flexible felt tip on this pen makes for an easy application. This eyeliner is both long wearing, and relatively easy to remove (two traits that don't often go together!). My only concern is that the cap doesn't seem to click onto the pen firmly, and I would worry about it coming off in my makeup bag and the pen drying out. Overall, I would recommend this product for someone looking for a high quality black liner at a drugstore price point.

The longevity of this product is also amazing, I am able to wear this liner to work for 9 hours and it still looks fresh by the end of the day. I noticed that I received many compliments on my eyeliner when I used this liner.

I normally stick to a very thin liquid liner applicator but this one has a thicker applicator which can make it more difficult to apply. Other than that, it was a matte black eyeliner that didn't smudge. I also found out it was waterproof so that would definitely come in handy! It stayed on my eyes for several hours and still looked just as good as when I applied it. Would recommend this to people looking for a new liquid eyeliner that enjoy a bit of a thicker applicator! :)

The eyeliner didn't smudge until later in the evening (I wore it all day to the office and the gym), but I'm not sure if that's because I wore a primer. overall this product was easy to use, easy to remove and had a pretty good longevity.

In generally the wear is quite good and I haven’t experienced any smudging whilst wearing it. It also comes off really easy with regular makeup wipes. Would recommend :)

This product doesn't smudge, and just glides on. It's also very easy to take off and best of all it leaves you with no panda eyes!  Also having such a thin pointed tip means you can apply as thin or as thick as you like and have more control over your wing.

Whilst the formula isn't the most long-lasting, the eyeliner does make for very easy application across a wide variety of different eye looks.

I have bought this on multiple occasions. The tip makes it easy to apply smooth lines! I Sometimes found i had to go over the line twice to get the eyeliner as dark as i wanted, but i think it also depended on how i stored it. This eyeliner is a really great product and would recommend this product for sure. LOVEEE IT

It washes off well even though it lasts without smudging throughout the day. The length of the eyeliner pen makes precision easy, whether it’s a thick or thin line that you are after. It doesn’t irritate the eyes, when applied or flake off by the end of the day. \nThe cons are: it doesn’t last very long if you use eyeliner everyday, so even though it’s reasonably priced you end up spending more in the long as you need to keep buying new eyeliners. This is the reason why I give it 4/5 stars. \nI would recommend this product to anyone who is just starting out in wearing liquid eyeliner as it’s so easy to use, and to someone that doesn’t want to hunt around for a good liquid eyeliner, as this is sold in your local supermarket.\n
