[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I won the Palmolive foaming hand wash in Vanilla and Sweet Almond in the Glosscars 2019 prize pack. I already use their regular foaming handwash but this is the first time I’ve used their designer range. I’m a big convert to the foaming handwash. It doesn’t make a mess, the kids love it (a little too much - we go through it so quickly) and you don’t have to stand there for long when refilling a bottle. This 400ml refillable pump bottle is made in Thailand by Colgate-Palmolive. The plastic bottle has pictures of vanilla pods and almond blossoms on a plastic film wrapped around the bottle and whilst it is pretty the downside is I can’t see how much soap is left in the bottle. At first I thought it had a coconut fragrance but then I realised it was the rich Shea butter fragrance and I could detect a slight hint of vanilla. You really don’t need a lot, as I keep telling the kids, half a pump is enough. I like the fragrance but as yet you can’t purchase the hand soap refill in Vanilla and Sweet Almond so I’ve had to refill it using a different fragrance. The scent isn’t overpowering so doesn’t overtake perfumes and the soap itself isn’t drying or cause other problems for my or my family’s skin as long as it’s rinsed off properly. The only issue I have with foaming handwash soap is that after a while the pump mechanism stops working, so I just need to purchase a new pump bottle. I would definitely repurchase the brand and fragrance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft and non-drying [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this foaming hand wash from Palmolive as part of my recent Glosscars prize pack and I have been really enjoying using it. The vanilla and almond scent is absolutely delicious - sweet yet gentle and not overwhelming. A really beautiful scent combination. The hand wash comes out of the pump bottle as foam and you only need a bit to wash your hands properly, so the bottle will last a while. It is non-drying on the skin and leaves my hands feeling soft and clean. Love the packaging too - the floral print on the bottle is very cute and the pump is easy to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Violet & Eucalyptus Variant [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this in the Violet & Eucalyptus variant and I love it because I'm a bit of a violet scent mad person. I have heard you either love it or you hate the smell of violets and I'm one to love it - always have been ever since I was a little child. There was always something divine about discovering the sweet natural scent in that little flower in the garden and now I just love it for all-time. This handwash encapsulates that scent and the beautiful white foam that comes out of the top from the pump-top is full of this amazing garden-flower scent of violets. I will keep buying this beautiful handwash over and over. It doesn't dry out my hands at all while I'm using it and it helps to keep my nails nourished too - no flaking nails with this formula. It's hard to get hold of a violet scented product (probably because it's not universally popular like say a rose scent is) and this is like finding gold in the supermarket for me. I hope they always keep making it!

It smells amazing and my kids love the fact it’s foamy. It never leaves your hands feeling like it still has soap on them! It cleans and refreshens hands and I’ve found it isn’t as harsh on skin as I thought it could be! Super product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Some Palmolive scents can be poorly blended, but this hand wash smells lovely! There is more vanilla than almond scent. If you unscrew the lid & look inside the opaque bottle, the hand wash is a yellow liquid. When you pump the dispenser, the hand wash comes out as a foam. There's no need to lather your hands with water to make it froth up. Like most foaming hand washes, it's easier to rinse off than regular hand wash. Foaming hand washes leave my hands softer than other hand washes, although, I'm not prone to dry hands. REPURCHASE? Only on sale. I usually buy whichever hand wash refill is on sale. Unfortunately, this hand wash doesn't come in refill bottles; however, I'll keep my eyes open in case Palmolive change their mind. Made in Thailand from local & imported ingredients.
