General Information

Rise and shine with our 2-in-1 Exfoliating Coffee & Coconut Masque! This cream based masque is perfect for a normal to dryer skin type, with Vitamin E it works to replenish the skins moisture levels. A blend of Aloe Vera, Coconut Shell and locally sourced coffee beans (from the Coffee Cart that visits Sukin HQ in Melbourne) is added to exfoliate the skin when removing, to leave it feeling energised, polished and silky smooth!
TIP: Follow with a facial oil or serum, as your skin will soak up all of the goodness after being masked!

Coffee Scrub Masque
Wake Up Your Skin With A Combination Of Locally Sourced Ground Coffee Beans, Aloe Vera & Coconut Shell.

Ingredients

Water (Aqua), Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Glycerin, Coffea Arabica (Coffee) Seed Powder, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Jojoba Esters, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Shell Powder, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Coco-Caprylate, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Cetearyl Glucoside, Xanthan Gum, Lactic Acid, Fragrance (Parfum)*, Phenoxyethanol, Benzyl Alcohol. *Natural Fragrance

Directions

Apply to damp face and neck. Relax and allow to penetrate for 15 minutes and then gently rub off in a circular motion to exfoliate skin. Wash off with warm water and wash cloth

It feels alot creamier than I expected and smells lovely. It doesn't upset my sensitive skin which I was a bit worried about with the coffee. Definitely will buy again. I love how Sukin products are natural but inexpensive and the packaging is nice too.

Smells absolutely divine with freshly ground coffee and offers a light exfoliation which left my sensitive skin smooth and glowing. Highly recommend this facial masque as a treat to use once or twice a week!

You can feel the small beads sinking into the skin and after sitting for 20 minutes I will use an exfoliating brush in circular motions to work it into the skin before washing it off. After washing it off my skin feels so smooth and post shower I will moisturise and my skin will feel so fresh and amazing. I also love the packing super easy to use and the sizing is good as it will last for such a long time as only a small amount is needed each time.

Housed in a generous 100ml screw top jar, it has a creamy base mixed with evident coffee grounds. I found as a exfoliater, I prefer more abrasion, the coffee grounds are sparse compared to the cream. I like to use this as a masque. Left to dry on the skin, the mask becomes dry and thick which I rub off for more exfoliation. The result is soft comfortable skin thanks to the coconut oil in the formula. I like that the formula is paraben free.

The texture is incredibly soft and smooth, it's medium thickness and spreads very easily over the skin. I found that the exfoliating bits didn't really exfoliate to the extend that I wanted but oh well, after scrubbig for a bit you leave it in your face while you finish showering for ultimate skin softness! The smell isn't too intense and doesn't linger which is great for sensitive people.

It is so gentle o the skin especially sensitive and acne prone. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great exfoliating mask My skin type: oily/combination, acne-prone. I'm a big fan of Sukin face masks, so I was keen to try this when it was released. It is packaged in the same tub design that other Sukin masks come in. The consistency is not as thick as a clay mask, and it's easy to apply. It has large granules which I assume is the ground coffee/coconut. This mask does not dry out like a clay mask - which makes it less drying for the skin, and easier to wash off. As you wash it off, massage your skin to feel the exfoliating grainy texture of the mask. The smell is fantastic - exactly like coffee and coconut. After using this mask, my skin feels smoother, and it still feels smooth the next day. My enlarged pores on my nose look cleaner. Even though I am more used to using clay masks, I would recommend this product and plan to repurchase it.

I have oily combination akin and usually avoid physical exfoliants like this one, but one of the ladies at work raved about this so pf course I had to try it. The granules of coffee oand coconut are ground quite fine and don't scratch at all on the skin. I found the mask really creamy and thick, making it feel quite lux and soothing. I was careful not to press or rub it in though, on applying or rinsing. After 15 minutes, my skin felt so soft and looked glowing. It left my skin with the right amount of moisture. I really like this mask. I use it once a fortnight and it's very easy to use and smells way too good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gentle mask Masks are important in my skin care routine- I always find my skin is ultra clear and radiant when I am frequently applying masks. This mask in particular smells divine- the coconut and coffee hit you and it smells like dessert! It is slightly exfoliating but I find it to be quite moisturising. I apply a thin layer- a little goes a long way, it isn't a thick mask. After 10-15 minutes it has soaked in so I think it is best to rinse it off as soon as that happens to prevent your skin from drying out. I use a face washer to take off my masks anyway, so the exfoliating part doesn't matter too much to me. It leaves me face feeling bright, fresh and moisturised.

I am all about masks - I love them and am always on the lookout for new ones. I especially love that this one is also an exfoliant so it does a double action all at once. Once gently massaged into the skin I let it sit for around 10 minutes before rinsing it off. The gently scrubbing exfoliates the skin really well and after using it my face felt super soft and clean but not stripped of moisture. Another great product from Sukin, perfect for people with sensitive skin as it's gentle.

The consistency of the mask is quite creamy and full of coffee grounds and coconut shell for exfoliating. The colour of the mask is a light browny colour, the scent smells predominately of coffee. It is easy to apply, does not dry at all throughout the duration of wear and is very easy to rinse off with just warm water. My thoughts on the product: This mask is a definite treat for coffee lovers! I found it very easy to apply, it is very creamy and quite thick in consistency, it goes on smoothly. About the size of a 20c coin was plenty for a full face application. The coffee grounds and coconut shell give a decent exfoliation without feeling at all rough, scratchy, harsh or abrasive. I actually found this to be quite moisturising whilst on the skin, which I wasn't expecting at all. It feels very soothing and hydrating on the skin after applying. The coffee scent is very nice, quite stimulating. I applied the mask after cleansing and left on for 10-15 minutes (it will not dry out at all during this time, the mask stays 'wet' throughout the entire duration) before lightly massaging the face for a minute or so and rinsing off with warm water. The mask is very easy to remove with just warm water, it can get a little messy due to all the ground coffee so best done in the shower. After removal of the mask my skin felt so soft and actually quite moisturised, skin tone looks more even and skincare products seem to absorb better. The final verdict: I really like this mask, I wasn't expecting it to be as hydrating as it is, that was a very pleasant surprise! A definite must have for coffee lovers and ladies looking for a gentle exfoliant that won't irritate the skin.

I applied massaging it gently onto my face and neck and did exactly what the label suggests: I relaxed and allowed it to work its charm for 15 minutes. I felt NO tingling sensation, on the contrary, the light coffee smell was delightful... After that I rinsed gently (without rubbing it too strongly). My whole face and neck felt really smooth and my complexion was immediately clearer. I looked and felt really refreshed. It will be my weekly Sunday relaxation treat from now on!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pleasant I was very excited to try this product for two reasons: 1) because the coffee and coconut scent sounded divine; and 2) because I liked the sound of being able to save time in my skin-care routine since this product acts as both a face mask and an exfoliant. The product comes in a small recyclable pot and has a thick, creamy texture. As with all skin-care products which come in a jar, it is essential to have clean hands before dipping into the product to prevent contamination. The mask has a very pleasant scent (I can smell both the coffee and the coconut) and the texture spreads really nicely and evenly onto the skin. Since it is not a clay mask, it does not dry down or harden but instead stays fairly creamy. When it was time to wash it off, I felt the coffee granules doing their job and nicely exfoliating my skin. My skin felt very smooth by the end. I am giving this product three stars simply because I didn't notice any changes or benefit to my skin, even after using this product for a while. That being said, it is a really nice experience as a little self-pamper session!

I have tried various other Sukin Masques and I saw this Coffee and Coconut Masque. The smell is not overpowering, I was hoping for a rich coffee smell and I did not get one. The masque looks like cookies and cream ice cream though. So I found that amusing.
