Private Formula Vitamin Infused Micellar Cleansing Water is a unique all-in-one cleanser with suspended Vitamin A and E infused capsules to gently dissolve and lift away make-up and impurities without the need for rinsing.

Private Formula Vitamin Infused Micellar Cleansing Water is a soap-free all-in-one cleanser to gently dissolve and lift away make-up and impurities without the need for rinsing. Suspended Vitamin A and E infused capsules, gently burst and absorb on contact with the skin, instantly helping to nourish and hydrate in one easy step. Suitable for all skin types. For face, lips and eyes.

Does the Private Formula Micellar Water contain micro beads?
Absolutely not. The tiny milicapsules suspended in Dr. LeWinn's Private Formula Micellar Water are soft shell capsules made of natural materials, which gently burst and break down on contact with the skin and are absorbed during the cleansing process.  They are environmentally friendly and are not a water pollution hazard and do not put marine life at risk. The milicapsules contain Vitamin A & E and are composed of natural materials including lactose, cellulose, sucrose and corn starch. Microbeads however, are plastic beads which do not break down and infiltrate the water systems, causing a significant pollution hazard to marine life. We are pleased to confirm that no Dr. LeWinn's proucts contain microbeads of any nature.

Directions

Apply to a cotton pad and gently apply over eyes, face, neck and lips as required. Reapply until cotton pad becomes clear. Use twice daily or as often as required. No rinsing required.

USAGE ADVICE

To complete your skincare regime, follow with the Private Day Cream Moisturiser or Private Formula Advanced Night Cream and Private Formula Firming Eye Cream.

I ran out of my facial cleanser so I decided to squeeze about some into my hand and rub my face. I’ve actually been doing this day and night for about a week now and OMG my skin has cleared from all breakouts. I’ve been using my same toner and moisturiser as normal but this is what’s making my skin clear. I’m actually so happy with this product. I’ve got oily combo sensitive skin and this is great for makeup remover and cleanser. My skin feel super clean.

It's a slightly thicker consistency than water (but not quite a gel) and spreads easily with a cotton pad or fingers. Removes all makeup, concealer and waterproof mascara easily without any harsh rubbing and leaves my skin feeling really soft. I prefer to rinse afterwards, rather than leave it on. Best of all, it's made in Australia! Have read some of the negative reviews on this site and honestly can't understand how anyone could say it doesn't remove their makeup?

Especially nice in summer, it has thick consistency which leaves the skin feeling cool, hydrated and clean. It is sometimes easy to get in your eyes, however does not sting like other micellar waters. The big bottle has also lasted me many months, love the product.

Do not be fooled by the name "micellar water" is actually has a gel-like consistency but that means that it is so easy to apply it on a cotton pad and cleanse the face. I found it really easy to remove makeup. The makeup came off easily and did not require any excessive rubbing. The bottle itself is really big and it lasts a long time because only a small amount is needed to clean the face. After cleansing my face with it, unfortunately, it did not feel clean but sticky, so I had to use other products in order to get the clean feeling.

You just end up rubbing gel on your face. And as it isn't a liquid, you have to keep applying it, as it doesn't spread as you move the pad across your face. And even then, it does NOT clean at all. It does not remove ANYTHING off your face. This product is a major fail.
