General Information

Experience our deepest, darkest tan yet. This lightweight and hydrating bronzing mousse allows you to choose your depth of dark; simply apply with an Applicator Mitt and rinse off after 4 hours for our iconic dark tan or after 8 hours for an intense but natural-looking, extra dark tan that’s lasts for days. Ideal for a special occasion, pre-holiday or as part of your weekly beauty regime.  

Warnings

Do's and Dont's: Carry out a patch test24 hours prior to use. Wash palms after use. Self tan may stain. Do not apply to broken or irritated skin. Stop if irritation occurs. Do not get in eyes, if you do rinse well with water. Avoid contact with lips. Store below 30C/86F.
Sun safety warning: This product does not contain a sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn. Repeated exposure of unprotected skinwhile tanning may increase the risk of skin ageing, skin cancer and other harmful effects to the skin even if you do not burn.

Ingredients

Aqua (Water/Eau), Dihydroxyacetone, Caramel, Ethoxydiglycol, Glycerin, PPG-5-Ceteth-20, Propylene Glycol, Coco-Glucoside, Dimethyl Isosorbide, Phenoxyethanol, Melanin, Parfum (Fragrance), Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters, Sodium Metabisulfite, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Citric Acid, Tocopherol, Linalool, Benzyl Salicylate, Caprylyl Glycol, Decylene Glycol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Citronellol, Limonene, Geraniol, Coumarin, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Hydroxycitronellal, Sodium Hydroxide, CI 14700 (Red 4), CI 19140 (Yellow 5), CI 42090 (Blue 1).

Directions

Step 1: Exfoliate 24 hours prior to use. Immediately prior to application, moisturise any dry areas including elbows, knees, ankles and feet.
Step 2: For best results, apply using our Tan Applicator Mitt in long sweeping motions, starting at the ankles and working your way up. Then for your back, turn the mitt back to front and start applying in the same way.
Step 3: Wait until touch dry before getting dressed.
Step 4: Rinse off after 4 hours for our iconic dark tan or after 8 hours for an intense but natural-looking, extra dark tan.
Step 5: To prolong and maintain your tan, moisturise daily, exfoliate regularly and reapply as desired.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great colour I wear fake tan on a weekly basis and no one knows that I’m wearing fake tan. I’m actually naturally very pale. This is my favourite by far. I would recommend to leave it on for 6 to 8 hours (not 4) over night and wash the bronzer off in the morning. It does give off a darker hint of colour then the other tans by St Tropez but the colour is still very natural.. not orange at all! I find it lasts 4 days perfectly if moisturising then starts to go a little patchy at day 5. I always exfoliate before applying tan and apply it with powder free gloves or a mitt. I don’t use this tan on my face as it is quite dark.. I like to use the face tanner. This tan doesn’t smell bad either.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing colour for an event The colour is absolutely amazing (very rich bronze) and looks great on the skin but unfortunately doesn’t stay rich and dark for longer than 2-3 days for me where as my ‘loving tan’ isn’t as striking of a colour (more natural, olive tone) but lasts for a week easily. It does fade nicely though. A more affordable colour dupe would be the Hawaiian tropic ultra dark or Bali body ultra dark but these ones do not fade as nicely or look as smooth on the skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice long lasting colour I find St Tropez the best self tanner, it goes on and also fades the most evenly. I usually get the dark mousse but thought I'd try extra dark. This colour is quite dark if left for full 8hrs, best used with a tanner mit, use very sparingly on your hands and feet otherwise they'll end up super dark

It’s sooooo dark and when you’re fading it fades evenely! So happy with it! Thank you to the girls at chemist warehouse for recommending it to me!

The tan is very green based when applying and was super sticky, even the next morning when I went to rinse it off. Considering the price, and other brands out there that are cheaper, would not be buying again

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Didn’t work for me at all. Didn’t do anything it promised (I’m an experienced tanner and left this on to process for 10 hours and it left a light tan at best) and twice the price tag of others with better pigment. Super disappointed
