Infant Probiotic Drops, From Birth

Nestle NAN CARE Probiotic Drops for Infant Colic Relief contain probiotic L. reuteri DSM 17938. Multiple clinical studies have shown probiotic L. reuteri DSM 17938 helps to reduce crying time in colicky infants by 50% or more from 1 week (A.P. dos Reis Buzzo Zermiani et al. Therapies in Medicine. 2021; 63: 102781). Colic is very common with infants and this can generate emotional stress for parents (Lucassen PLBL. et al. Arch Dis Child 2001; 84: 398-403). Up to 20% of infants suffer from infantile colic (Savino F et al. 2013. PeerJ PrePrints 1:e64v1).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yea nah, difficult bottle design. Only tried it once though, and saw no difference...and the last few ml are so hard to extract out of the bottle....very inconvenient design. I think I'll give it another go if they change the bottle design...because having a crying baby in the background and taking 20 minutes waiting for the drops to come out is a pain (there was still about 2 ml out of 5 ml left).

This probiotic was the only thing that helped my colic baby who got relieved within the same day of use and so far haven’t had anymore tummy pain. It looks like it’s expensive but actually lasts for quite some time and it’s definitely wirth the money.
