Got referred to manufacturer which was impossible to find at first. After a long search found replacement stops. Price of crutches is ok, but durable, no not really

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I bought these 5 weeks ago and use them occasionally post foot surgery. They are comfortable and solid however the tips need to be replaced every week. It seems to be a due to poor design.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rubber tips and handgrips fail and no spares I am a 71 yo man with a pacemaker so I'm no great athlete. I weigh about 70 kg, so I'm hardly likely to overload crutches. After about 3 weeks' use, the handgrips developed holes at one end and became uncomfortable, but they didn't deteriorate much after that. However, after only 6 weeks the tips had worn much thinner than new, and on one crutch the open bottom of the thin aluminium tube punched through the tip so that I was "walking" on bare metal. I went back to the CW store where I had purchased them. They do not sell replacement tips or handgrips. This is like having to replace your car when a tyre fails or is worn out! The CW store exchanged the crutches for new ones, and I asked them to be sure that the distributor was shown the failed set. I can't find "Wagner crutches" online.
