Rated 4 out of 5 by from Used by hospitals I use Medela as they were the brand used at the hospital (NSPH). My baby has taken to them really well and has no problems drinking from them. I find that the teats occasionally turn inside out if she drinks too rapidly from them, but I have noticed this with other brands too. The teats are softer than other brands which I like.

Upon receiving them, I can see that they are medium flow, unsuitable for my newborn. The description needs to have this information in it. I then bought newborn teats, which are advertised as suitable for any medela breastmilk bottles. They do not fit, as they are a standard base, not a wide base, which was also not clear in the description of the product. The size of the base and the flow of the teat needs to be clear in the description of each medela product.

I know my sister in law had an oversupply from birth of her daughter and needed this size for pumping. But I’m yet to have reached for these bottles and we’re almost 7months in. So Stick to the 150ml
