I have 2b-2c hair that is very dry and tangled easily and this product is a must in my hair routine. This hair mask also goes perfectly with a hair oil for extra soft and shiny hair. I also get compliments of how good my hair smells when I use this product. Definitely worth purchasing especially for its affordable price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from totally worth it! this hair food it’s totally amazing and so worth it. i have wavy-curly hair that is long, thick and dry and it does wonders. for the days where i can’t be bothered with my hair, i just dampen my hair a little and run some of this through and it looks like i have just washed my hair. i also love using this product to style my hair and give my curls some extra definition. its also great as conditioner but isn’t as hydrating was what i would like (for someone with normal hair type it would be amazing as a conditioner). however it is great as a hair mask before and after conditioner- depending on what you are after. it is also super affordable and always seems to be on sale at woolworths or coles. it comes in a big container and lasts ages, even for me who has a lot of hair.

With a beautifully and bursting sweet scent the hair food is a light mushroom colour, I love the medium to thick consistency of the Smoothing Macadamia Hair Food. While in the shower to use this as a conditioner/hair mask after shampooing I apply around the size of a 20c piece to my mid length and ends and leave this in while I’m washing my face and body etc. After rinsing this out my hair felt really nourished, smooth and soft. It makes my hair very easy to style and run my brush through my hair. I also love using this in my hair after I have washed it as a leave in conditioner and a great way of using it I have discovered it is fantastic at keeping my flyaways at bay Especially when I have a pony tail which is most days I add a pea sized amount to my fingertips and run it over my hair, keeps my hair looking neat, healthy and moisturised. I would recommend this hair food to those with dry, thick and frizzy hair like me.

Trying to find products that are budget friendly can be a challenge with this type of hair. I love the banana mask the best in the range. Leaves my hair soft with no frizz and smells pretty good too.

But i f you have fine hair i wouldn’t use too much of this cream. A little goes a long way. After i shampoo & condition my hair, i apply this cream a generous amount (because i have curly thick hair) and apply serum to keep the frizz down.

I use it more like a leave-in, with the addition of all my other hair products that I use after a wash day and I've found the inclusion of this has definitely improved the condition of my hair. Whilst it keeps my hair hydrated, be mindful that it has a tendency to become greasy if over-used.

I use it after washing my hair with an oil based shampoo bar. For me, this routine results in beautifully moisturized, easy to detangle hair, that no longer breaks off so easily. It can be used as a regular conditioner, a deep conditioner, or as a leave in. It has a thick rich texture, so a little goes a long way. Highly recommended!

I saw them on special for $7 and bought a Macadamia one, and I’m happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I washed and conditioned my hair as usual, and then applied and left it in for as long as possible. It smelt amazing. It left my hair feeling super soft, and the gorgeous scent lingered for ages afterwards. There’s plenty in the huge tub for multiple uses, so it’s excellent value, especially if you can pick them up on sale. I’ll absolutely and definitely be repurchasing this again.

Since then, I used this product twice a week as a deep conditioning mask leaving the product saturated on my hair lengths for about 30 minutes wrapped with a shower cap. It transforms my hair tremendously and makes my hair soft again! With a lower price point, I would say this product really works wonderfully. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

I also don't need as many styling products when I use this. It smells amazing!! The tub is also pretty big and pretty cheap which makes this product even more amazing and it seems to be on sale often in supermarkets. I plan on using this for a very long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Divine smell and soft hair I absolutely adore the Fructis Macadamia Hair Food from Garnier. The smell is heavenly and the ingredients are so nurturing for my hair. It has beige colour and a pretty thick consistency, so that when I apply it to my hair it feels very moisturising. It can be used as a conditioner, mask or leave-in treatment and for my thick and unruly hair I find it works great as a leave-in treatment. I just run it through my hair when it is almost dry and allow it to sink in, which it does need a minute or so to do fully. The packaging is simple with a large tab with a screw-on lid. It does mean that I dip my fingers in every time I need to scoop some product out, which is not ideal, but for the price point is easily overlooked. I would prefer a different package, but that is the only con for an otherwise great hair product.
