I received this product as a part of the trial team. I used this on blond hair to reduce brassy tones. I applied after using the Toni & Guy purple shampoo. It smells great on the hair. It applies well and you don't need to use too much product. The bottle is a good size 250ml. I like that its made from 50% recycled plastic. It contains purple dye, pearl extract and keratin which makes the product work well. Toni & Guy make good products and have been around for 50 years. My hair looked and smelled really nice after applying. I left product on the hair for 1-2 minutes. I really love the conditioner and would definitely recommend it.

I was still hesitant that this would work for me as I have used a few ('big name' and salon only) products to be left with minimal results in 'toning down' brassiness. I was lucky enough to be gifted this to trial. My first response after first use was 'WOW'! Brassy/yellow tones were neutralized to perfection and my hair was left silky smooth and shiny with a salon look. The fragrance is divine, it's light and pleasant. The bottles are easy to handle when showering and the 'press' top makes it easy to dispense the product and without waste.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for toning [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TONY&GUY 30 YEARS OF SALON EXPERIENCE PURPLE CONDITIONER WITH PEARL EXTRACT Thank you Beauty Heaven for allowing me to be part of the trial team for such a prestigious brand on my at home bleached, foiled and grey hair. This conditioner is a generous 250ml bottle. It has a lid which opens with the thumb press. I unscrewed the lid to a beautiful scent and looking at the conditioner the product is a light purple. The bottle has a purple lid and a very professional designed logo in purple on the entire bottle. It states it has pearl extract, and keratin, neutralising yellow and brassy tones and provides intense treatment. The product is a little thick so a little goes a long way. Once I had washed my hair with the Toni&Guy Purple Conditioner with Pearl extract I dryed my wet hair with a towel and brushed it with a wet brush. I applied the conditioner in front of a mirror, to make sure I had even coverage. This product I left on for 3 minutes as I could see it was not going to overtone. I washed out the conditioner, which left my hair soft and once blow drying, my hair was very shiny with no brassy or yellow tones but a very nice milky blonde. The tone was lovely, the smell amazing and the hair was surprisingly smooth and not course as it is with other products. Non abrasive at all however was shiny and smooth and once dried had milky coloured tone in between my foils, colour but no change on the greys as we know how stubborn they are however the mix was beautiful. A very nice toned milky coloured tone. I googled the product and this is such an affordable range which is very high quality and can be bought from many retailers. A winner for me and a product I will continue to use on my blonde, thick course hair which no longer looks yellow and electrocuted. 5 stars

With freshly dyed blonde hair I wanted to make sure I maintained the colour and everytime I was my hair with this shampoo people at work think its freshly dyed. Great product and great price.

It does leave my hair very dry though, so I've been on the look-out for an alternative. I grabbed some of this, along with its companion shampoo, when it was half-price at Woolies recently and I'm really glad I did! It's a beautiful silky conditioner and I only need the smallest amount for my baby-fine hair. Because my hair is so super-fine, I need products that won't weigh it down and this one fits the bill perfectly. It's not highly pigmented, it's more like a dark lilac colour than purple. It doesn't deposit a really dark purple tint to the hair (say, like the Organix "Make me Pastel" purple range does) but you don't always want that! I love that I can easily pick up this conditioner with my weekly shopping. It's regularly half price at both Woolies and Priceline too, so it's worth keeping an eye out for.

In conjunction with the purple shampoo this duo really does the job of leaving my hair shiny, brighter with no brassiness at all. My hair is much softer after using this conditioner.

I was pregnant at the time and not keen on having my hair dyed or refoiled due to the harsh chemicals, this shampoo and conditioner worked a treat waking up my brassy hair and giving it a ‘fresh foiled appearance’. I have blonde foils to hide my strawberry blonde hair so I need all the help I can get to eliminate very strong brassiness between hairdresser visits. I applied the product from the mid-lengths to the tips and left on for 2/3 minutes for additional hydration. I then combed through and found my hair detangled easily before rinsing well. My hair felt strong and hydrated without any brassy yellow tones. I found the conditioner easy to use with a great consistency and a pleasant smell. From a presentation point I like that both bottle designs match.

I really don't bother with purple hair conditioners as I have my favourite sweet-smelling conditioner and always follow my purple shampoo with that. However, being part of this trial team and experiencing the difference a specific purple conditioner can have on my hair has made me rethink my routine. This conditioner really softened my straw-like strands. I think the purple shampoo was more effective on the brassy tones than the purple conditioner, but it really did soften my strands. I would however have a good think about the choice of products in this purple range. To be honest with the price of the purple Toning mask being so reasonable, I would be more likely too skip the conditioner and just use the mask in place of the conditioner (remember my hair has been highlighted for so many years that it really craves this deeper moisturising effect more frequently)

I applied this directly after rinsing out the Purple shampoo in the same range. I squeezed out most of the water from my hair and applied the conditioner before distributing evenly with a wide tooth comb. A lot of purple hair products have strong, almost unpleasant smells but this is really nice and it has an upmarket scent. It's not heavy just light and lovely. The conditioner isn't super-heavy but it is very nourishing. I My hair is a little rough from dyeing it but I found it more manageable after using this. This conditioner is great for everyday use, if you need something heavier it's better to use the accompanying purple mask as your conditioner. Having said that, this is a great range and it's handy to have a quality blonde product available to grab while you do the rest of your supermarket shop. It's the finishing toner to neutralise yellows. Definitely this is a two-part event. You really need either this conditioner or the mask to complete the application, depending on what outcome you're trying to achieve; additional toning or added hydration. Highly recommend for anyone with blonde hair or highlights.

The packaging is easy to use, it has a pleasant smell and it felt quite conditioning. The purple didn’t stain my hands or the shower like some products can. I have dry hair so found I needed a bit extra moisture than this provided so preferred the mask for that.

It is a lovely, creamy and hydrating formula that really smooths out your hair. It is a pale purple tone, which I'm sure does some toning, but I wasn't able to notice any toning effects from using the conditioner alone (the shampoo does a much better job toning). The smell is really lovely, much like the shampoo, and I find the application quite easy as the consistency is relatively thick so it stays in the hair but spreads nicely. I'd definitely recommend this conditioner, but keep in mind that the toning effects are minimal.

In the past some conditioners have weighed my hair down making it look flat, not this conditioner makes my hair looks healthy and with some much amazing volume. Leaves my hair looking vibrant and refreshed even after one wash. The best purple conditioner if you are looking for something cost effective and great quality. I cannot believe how reasonably priced this product is for how amazing the product worked and made my hair look and smell. Definitely going to be a regular product in my shower :)

It was easy to apply and I only need a tiny amount to get a great result! The texture was a lovely consistency and the scent was quite pleasant. You could tell the bottle would last a long time. The applicator dispenser top was easy to use. What I liked about it, was as soon as I rinsed the conditioner off I could tell how easy it was going to be to comb through with no knots. Once my hair dried it was so simple to comb through and then style it. The shine that my hair showed was fabulous and even people commented and asked what products I was using. It was super smooth as well. The blonde was super clean removing all brassiness and yellow tones. This Toni & Guy product is totally recommended for all the blondes (or greys) out there that need that extra special shiny soft hair look!

I would leave it in for as long as possible for the nourishing effects. The conditioner had a lovely fragrance and made my hair smell lovely when it dried. It was easy to rinse out and my hair felt amazing and looked healthy once dried. It worked well in combination with the shampoo.

I was delighted to get the chance to try this one.  It is a good companion to the shampoo because it softened the hair after the purple shampoo which left the hair a little dry. The packaging is really nice and made of recycled material, I like the design of the bottle as it's very easy to use and control the amount of product. It is also good value for money. It has a strong perfume smell but not that chemical “toner” scent that a lot of silver hair products have. Having used the salon products-this is actually better.

It spread easily and was nourishing without weighing my fine hair down. The packaging worked well and was easy to open and close. I applied this to the mid lengths and ends of my hair after shampooing, combed it Brough and left for a few minutes before rinsing. My hair was left feeling really fresh, soft and shiny. It was more manageable and the tone was subtly refreshed. I didn’t live the smell of the conditioner. It had a slightly chemical smell and wasn’t as pleasant as the shampoo. No staining of hands, tiles or grout occurred. I would consider buying this conditioner but would love the scent to be improved.
