General Information

Elastoplast Wound Healing Ointment helps to support the healing of minor superficial wounds and damaged skin. Using the healing ointment can reduce the risk of scarring whilst being suitable for sensitive skin.

Elastoplast Wound Healing Ointment helps to support the natural healing of minor, superficial wounds like cuts, abrasions and scratches as well as first and smaller second degree burns. Elastoplast Wound Healing Ointment can be used at any stage of the healing process on superficial open wounds and damaged skin. Elastoplast Wound Healing Ointment creates a breathable film that protects the wound from external influences while preventing the wound from drying out. The Elastoplast Wound Healing Ointment is very skin friendly. The gentle formula is dermatologically tested* and is suitable for babies, children and sensitive skin. Elastoplast Wound Healing Ointment is free of colorants, fragrances and animal-derived substances (vegan). The ointment can be combined with Elastoplast plasters such as Fabric, Plastic, Sensitive and kids plasters.

I wanted to start going makeup free as I had moderate acne and was sick of my makeup looking awful during the healing process. I use a prescription antibiotic and benzyl peroxide medication for my acne which usually eats through the pimple and can leave a burn mark which can take awhile to go away. I honestly couldn't believe keeping a wound wet would help it to heal faster as I always thought the opposite but this ointment not only worked on healing acne marks but my marks were gone in two days! I was so happy and amazed I wrote to Elastoplast to thank them for such a wonderful product! I know they say this ointment helps to heal two times faster but that is definitely an understatement. It's more like five times faster!

Then I woke up one morning with a scab on my face from a fall. Used this and two days later, I could use makeup again with no signs of any dry scab. I love this stuff!!
