General Information

INTENSIVE FIRMING SERUM

The light gel-cream rich in natural actives, will gently firm, refine and leave skin feeling smooth. Pure Ribose, Acacia Gum and Rosehip Oil work to improve skin elasticity and reduce the signs of ageing after 14 days, with Cocoa Butter to lock in moisture and help protect skin from environmental conditions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Naturally Firming Serum I recently bought a bottle of Sukin Purely Ageless Intensive Firming Serum. This lovely citrus smelling serum is housed in a cute glass bottle pump bottle in a petite 25ml which I am going through really fast. The white gel like serum spreads and absorbs easily. Initially it feels quite moisturising and balmy but then dries down to a matte film. This makes it ideal to wear under sunscreen or make-up. In hot humid weather the moisture may be enough but I feel I need to put a moisturiser on top especially at night. For that reason and the quite tiny bottle it lost a point for me, but I am enjoying this product. My skin does feel firmer and more toned which is why I wanted to try the serum as I feel I am getting a bit 'jowly'. I'll keep using this serum and look out for sales to make it more economical.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely serum This was recently passed on to me by a friend who found it wasn’t quite for her. However I am really enjoying this serum so far and find it feels so lovely on the skin. The scent is delicate and very pleasant, and once the serum dries down and absorbs (which doesn’t take long) there is no sticky, oily or tacky feeling. It feels really hydrating and soft but also is extremely lightweight and a little goes a long way. I only need two pumps for my whole face and neck and I can see this product lasting me a fair while. I can see myself repurchasing this when it runs out especially if I start seeing visible results. So far I think it makes my skin look less dull and I can feel it slightly firm my skin, but I am not sure if I can say yet that it is as effective as it claims to be on the label. However, I do love Sukin as a brand as the majority of their products all work really well for me. I also must say I love the cute amber glass bottle this serum comes in, and the marooney-burgundy coloured label which makes it look really luxurious.

The day after the first time i used it the night before, my skin was very plump and smooth which prompted me to buy he entire range. it's lost it's efficacy but perhaps I need give it more time though overall I've seen improvements and will repurchase.

I usually use a different serum for morning and night and it´s been great being able to use the same serum at the start and end of the day. I love that it is a natural product. It is like, a lot like a lotion and it is very light and not thick or heavy so perfect for wearing under moisturiser and makeup for the day. At first I was a little skeptical as it isn´t as heavy a serum as I would use at night, but every morning my skin is very hydrated and looks bright. It has a very subtle scent, I hardly smell it at all, a sweet natural-herb smell. It's worked so well I also bought one for my best friend who is also loving it. The packaging is also really nice - it's sturdy, the pump works well. The price is great for a serum of this quality.

It's great to use at night with a few drops of Rosehip oil added to it or in the morning before my day cream. I find using a serum before your day or night cream helps keep skin smooth and moisturised.

I was looking for a product to hopefully prevent that for me so I decided to give this serum a go. The packaging looks and feels sturdy and doesn't feel cheap. The pump is handy because you can control how much product you use. The scent is pleasant and not overpowering. It smells like most of the Sukin products do. You dont need a lot to cover the whole face, which I love because you know you'll get your money's worth. Instantly after applying, the skin looks and feels firmer. It soaks into the skin well and doesn't feel greasy. I have only used this product for a few days but I can already see a noticeable difference! It also makes the skin feel super soft

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not what I expected I brought this at the recent sale at Priceline it’s not what I expected in consistency it’s a white light cream it does go in quite good I use it after cleaning my face a good moisturiser and oil is needed after it because my skin is dry naturally I haven’t been using it long enough to tell if it does in fact firm up my skin but I have hope for this product I feel the price could drop a bit or I’ll just wait for when it’s in sale

I've been experimenting with facial oils, but found many of them heavy. They are frequently uncomfortable and lead to breakouts on my acne-prone skin Then I came across this serum while perusing my local Priceline store. I use natural skincare wherever possible due to sensitive skin, and have enjoyed Sukin products previously This serum is light and has a gentle fruity scent. It is easily patted into the skin, and quickly absorbed. I usually use two pumps, one for my face and one for my neck. I've seen a distinct softening in the lines in my forehead and an overall brightening to my skin. I have taken off a star, because I have found it to be less effective in improving the lines in my neck.

I also love the scent (typical Sukin smell), however this contains benzyl alcohol which I don't like on my skin so I don't think I'd purchase it. It is affordable though, so if you need a light serum then you might enjoy this.

It's a very light weight serum and gets absorbed very quickly, yet moisturising enough to be used alone. My skin felt softer and smoother after applying it, but I didn't see the firming effect (probably because I only used it for a few nights). Also it doesn't have added fragrance, so my nose is not used to it but it's great for sensitive skin.

This has a light lotion texture that my skin just continued to drink up.<br />I went through this little pump bottle very quickly because it didnt give me much moisture when just used alone. After using this my skin was smoother and felt softer to touch just a few minutes after applying the serum.<br />This also helped my over sun exposed skin, it took down a bit of the redness and reduced a bit of the flakiness and irritation.<br />I like that you can see how much is left in the bottle so you know when you are running low.<br />I would definitely repurchase this product again its a bargain for the quality ingredients you get, good work once again Sukin!

To be honest, I bought Sukin's Purely Ageless Intensive Firming Serum by accident, because the pacakging is just way to similar to the Sukin eye cream in the same line. So the first con is the pacakging: it's sturdy and hygienic in a heavy glass pump bottle, but it's way too similar to other Sukin products. I don't think I would've bough this on purpose, because I prefer brightening treatments for my oily skin over hydrating and anti-aging treatments, but I figured I can try it during winter. Luckily, the consistency is relatively lightweight, as it is similar to some of the lotions used in KBeauty, it absorbed well, and didn't clog my pores. The serum was definitely moisturising, but I didn't notice any changes in smoothness and firmness. The best part of the serum is the scent: it's gentle, sweet, and so calming!

The serum is white and of medium/thick consistency like a gel/cream and has a pleasant smell but I found it a bit too strong for my liking. I apply this morning and night after cleansing and toning and it absorbs well and doesn't leave any residue on my combination skin and then I apply a moisturiser. After using this for about 1 month I've noticed my skin is well hydrated and appears firmer and brighter. I look forward to seeing more results as I continue to use this for a longer period of time.
