I don't wear a lot of eye shadow normally but the Maybelline New York Burgundy Bar Eyeshadow Palette will definitely be on high rotation in my make up bag! Firstly, I really liked the packaging and size. I was also impressed with the colour range in the one palette; they are pigmented and blendable. I started with the recommended colour combinations and liked the way it sat. It was easy to apply and blend, and I believe the shades would suit a range of skin colours. It was great that there were numerous different combinations to experiment with, and I found a minimum 3-4 that I would use regularly. I found the product was long lasting and still quite visible after hours of wear and it didn't settle into my eye creases. The packaging also means it's easy to store and pop into your make up bag. I would definitely recommend this eyeshadow palette, especially as an autumn/winter go to (because of the colours).

I’m not one to do these colours personally but there is enough of a mix to make some beautiful combination of tones.The texture of the eyeshadows are lovely and creamy and the pigment is strong making for a striking result. Only downside would be that id rather see a good mix of matte and shimmer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amber and rose gold are tones of the moment, and for delivering on a trend, this palette gets it so right. The texture and pigmentation of these eyeshadows out-performs the price tag. The Burgundy Bar is a neutral and warm option for day-to-day, with the quality and silkiness to build the colours for night. The mixture of matte and metallic is ideal for creating a combination of looks - I managed to create several using this one palette. Because the colours and are very soft and easily blended, you can skip a brush and your finger if you are in a rush or at work. The colours can be romantic, when applied as a soft wash, or built-up with a metallic edginess for some sex appeal and drama at night. The colours are appropriate for spring/summer, and autumn/winter. A great, high-quality, gorgeously coloured all-round. So far, this would have to be my favourite pharmacy eyeshadow palette.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE THIS!!! This palette is my perfection. The colours are amazing and vibrant. Perfect for my blue eyes and brunette hair. The shimmer of some of the colours in contrast with the matte is just beautiful. They play off each other so well and the combinations are stunning. The shadows are buildable so perfect if your after either a subtle or more intense look. I am still experimenting with the shades and have yet to come across one I don't really like. The staying power was perfect. I only really wear eye shadow for occasions and this lasted the hours I was out still looking perfectly applied. Tip - for a deeper colour I would maybe suggest priming the eye lid first. The colours intensify a bit more this way. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun, affordable palette with numerous colour combinations. Loved it!

The consistency is beautiful, very pigmented and buttery which the quality does not reflect in the price at all. A high quality product such as this, I would be expecting to pay three times more than the RRP if it was branded under a different name. I found the colours very versatile and could create many different looks depending on the occasion. The only thing I'd change about this palette, would be to contain a few more matte colours as a full blown shimmer eye can sometimes be a bit too full on for every day day wear. The staying power was fantastic, there were no issues with it lasting for a whole day. The colours blended seamlessly into one another which once again truly reflects the high quality of the product. I'd be very interested to purchased a palette of the same formula but in neutral smokey shades. Fingers crossed Maybelline release some more palettes of this type!

Having a dark Indian skin tone , sometimes some palettes have colours that don't suit me but this burgundy bar is Perfect for my skin tone. All the colours complement my brown eyes so much. I am in LOVE.\nThe shades are buttery soft and so PIGMENTED. They blend so well.\nI have used this palette for all occasions and even wear it to work everyday. It is suitable for all kind of looks from party wear to subtle office wear.\nThis has to be my most FAVOURITE palette as of date.\nFor all the BROWN EYED Beauties this palette does not disappoint.\nIt has some matte shades too and overall the shadows do not have a fallout.\nI have oily eyelids and I found that this shadows do not crease on me and lasts throughout the day which is amazing.I cannot sing enough praises for this burgundy bar.\nIt is one I will cherish for a long time . 100% satisfied with all the colours and the quality of the eyeshadows. It is on par with an expensive eyeshadows yet it has a budget price. \nMaybelline I am Happy.\n\n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Maybelline New York's Burgundy Bar Eyeshadow Palette has to be one of my favourite palettes I own!\n\nThe colour combinations, I feel, are endless ... but if you do need a little help with creating a look, all you have to do is turn to the back of the packaging - you will find a little guide teaching you how you can use the shades on your eyelids.\n\nThe shadows are really pigmented and apply to the eyelid with ease. I like to use an eyeshadow primer; but if you didn't have any or don't like to use a primer for any reason, you would have no issue getting the shadow on your lid. For me, the eyeshadow lasted all day, without fading and did not leave crease lines on my eyelids.\n\nThe shadows are very blendable, and can be used wet or dry. The palette also comes with a duel ended application brush. I feel this brush is great for on-the-go touch-ups, but for a full application I prefer to use my full sized make-up brushes. \n\nThe attention drawing shades are just so beautiful; and are great for both day time and night time looks. I would hands down purchase this again; and at such good price point, I wouldn't have to think twice!\n

All the shimmer shades were absolutely stunning, wouldn't say the same about the matte shades though. Love the variety of the shades and also the colour combos available at the back. So nice to have a little guide when you're not feeling as adventurous. Two thumbs up from me.

I am loving the single shade look at the moment so I didn't do too much blending, but the few looks I tried using the palette were easy to blend and the colours complimented each other perfectly. I am so impressed by the value and efficacy of this product for the RRP.

It's perfect for either a day time or night time look .I have been disappointed in the past with other Maybelline eyeshadow palettes however this exceeded my expectations. I'd recommend this for everyone from makeup beginners looking for any easy to use palette to pros who are just looking for new colours to add to their collection . It's got something for everybody

The palette has a range of colours to make your look go from day to night in just a few seconds. The shadows themselves are highly pigmented easily blendable and are so soft and creamy to apply! The colours will suite beginners looking to try out new shades and experts wanting to add some pop! The colour range will suite any eye colour and defiantly give you that amazing finish to any look you are trying to create! Will recommend to others! \n\nPros: Amazing colour range, creamy texture, easily blendable, great pigment, the shimmer! \n\nCons: mine unfortunately got broken in the mail a bit! So am worried about packaging! \n

The included brush is handy, and is good for smudging the colours for the best smokey eye. Definitely would recommended, awesome quality and value for money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love both the colours & texture of this eyeshadow palette - highly pigmented (giving the same effect almost as an intense MAC pigment) and yet highly buildable if you prefer an ombre eyeshadow effect. I'm getting this palette as a Christmas present particularly for all of my blue-eyed friends as the plum shades really make blue eyes pop (although would suit all eye-shades)! The secure palette packaging makes you feel safe popping it into your make-up bag for on-the-run application (won't easily leak or shatter) and the texture of the eyeshadow is almost creamy (with intense colour that stays put once it is applied). The product is easy to apply with an eyeshadow brush or your fingers (if you're short on time or brushes). The variety of complimentary shades included in the palette also really assist with experimenting/creating different colour combinations that always seem to work beautifully. I have even pressed some of the darker colours over my liquid liner to 'set' my winged liner which adds an extra pigment effect and makes it last all day. Five stars!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's overhyped Just bought this. It has 12 shades, 2 mattes (light brown and dark brown) and 10 shimmers. The shades are mostly rusty gold's with a few pinks and one pinky purple. There is no true purple. The mattes were a bit gritty and the formulation is a bit difficult to apply. The shimmers were better but the colours don't really pop. Also when you use a wet brush, the texture changes into something almost creamy. Try it Good for everyday look. Little fallout. Medium blendability. Can create many different looks on its own. Good for travel or holiday.

On the back of the palette there is colour combinations for 2,3 and 4 shades and where to apply them, perfect for the less experienced who don’t want it to show. \nThe pigment is amazing, there are some shades where I had been too heavy handed and had to remove and reapply, not a problem I’ve ever encountered before. I applied eyeshadow in the morning and set about my day, by mid afternoon I still didn’t need to touch up, even after a full workout and hours in a hot steamy atmosphere.\nSome of the lighter colours are great for opening up the eye without being too obvious that that is what you’re trying to do and some darker for a more dramatic look. A great budget friendly palette.\n

This palette gives you all the colours needed to get the perfect winter eye! So many on-trend colours all combined into one affordable palette. This pallette can be used for all skin tones as the colours aren't to dark or light. the best thing about this pallette is that it can be used for any occasion whether it was for everyday use or a wedding.

The colours in this palette are absolutely beautiful and perfect for both everyday wear and evening glam wear. I only wish they had more matte shades however the ones they do have a very wearable and flexible in that they're perfect transition shades for every skin tone. I'll be using this palette all through autumn as the shades are just perfect!

I have other palettes in this range including the Blushed Nudes and the original The Nudes, but I think this is the best palette from the range so far. The shadows are highly-pigmented and blend well together, I especially love the burgundy shade as it suits my warm complexion, though the only downside to this palette is that it only has two matte eyeshadow shades, and the rest have shimmer. So if you're someone who prefers matte eyeshadows, then this palette may not be for you.\n\nI highly recommend this palette to anyone who wants to try out eyeshadow palettes that has red and bronze undertones, but at an affordable price. \n
