Apply shampoo generously to wet hair. Massage into a creamy lather, and help conserve water by turning off the shower while you lather. Rinse off thoroughly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Good Cleansing Product, Smells Amazing It has been year since I last used Herbal Essences, although I have many friends who swear by it. However when I was given the opportunity to trial the new product I thought it was time to give my teenage old faithful a revisit. The first thing I noticed when I received the products was the new, more mature look packaging. The new packaging gives a more luxe look to the product My hair is medium thickness, shoulder length and very tangle and breakage prone. The latter can probably be attributed to my love of being a platinum blonde with straight hair. As such, the wrong product can play havoc with both my texture and colour. Throughout the trial I continued to use toning shampoo once a week and the Herbal Essences Shampoo and Conditioner twice a week. The shampoo is a cream colour and quite thick. It works up a great lather. After using just the shampoo I did feel my hair was left quite dry, but it did also feel very clean. The scent is quite strong but pleasant while using the product. It is hard to describe but to me smelt summery and uplifting. The scent also lasts between washes which I found fantastic. I did not notice a significant difference after the first wash but after a few washes I notices that my hair was less frizzy and shinier. I am also finding that I am no longer having to wash my hair every second day without fail – I am able to go three days without feeling oily or frizzy. The product is also lives up to the claim of being colour safe – no fading or brassiness from use of this product Overall I am very pleased and will continue using. I can’t wait to see what other products Herbal Essences bring out next!

Rated 5 out of 5 by iconic from Clean and fresh wash Herbal Essence's Bio:renew Coconut Milk Shampoo is suitable for anyone from those with thin to thick hair, with a scent that isn't too overwhelming. The bottle is packaged very simply and I quite like that its a flip up cap which is nicer than their other designs as this means water doesn't get into it unlike when the caps are on the base of their bottles. Prior to this trial, I actually was very fond of Herbal Essence's Hello Hydration range in the coconut scent- which is very similar to the scent found in this shampoo. However, I find that the smell in this one is not as strong as that one which, to me, is a good thing. After washing my hair with this shampoo it felt like it cleaned very well and I was concerned that it actually striped moisture but this is not the case (it just cleans really well and doesn't have any extra fillers like excess dimethicone to make you feel like its also hydrating your hair). I think coupled with the conditioner, it really hydrates your hair and keeps it fresh.

I love everything that reminds me of the tropics, especially since we are so far into winter now, and coconuts are definitely a favourite to put me into a tropical holiday frame of mind. The scent on this shampoo is strong and sweet and fruity. It smells great through the wash, but the scent doesn’t hang around once you have washed it out The shampoo claims to be hydrating. I found that it did help a little bit with winter dryness, although by no means a miracle cure. My hair feels pretty soft though, and is less frizzy (although initially I was using too much product and it made my hair super frizzy, so go gentle on it). It contains antioxidants as well as aloe and sea kelp. But what I like most is what it does not contain, ie parabens. It is colour safe which is great for my coloured hair. The bottle is very sturdy which means I am not always knocking it over in the shower. The caps are on the top of the bottle which is so much better than the bottles you have to store upsidedown. They are simple bottles with a flip top cap and wide opening. I love the simplicity of the bottles, it is well designed to ensure the product is easy to get out. The brown bottles aren’t particularly striking, but they are appropriate for the scent of coconut This shampoo ticks the boxes and is good for an everyday, low priced hair routine.

This shampoo is very easy to use and it works really well to make my hair feeling healthy, hydrated and shiny. Herbal Essences Coconut Milk shampoo smells amazing. This is one of my favourite things about this product. I love coconut scents and this one is just perfect and not too overpowering. The bottle has a really nice black colour which looks really nice in my bathroom. I used this shampoo in combination with its bio:renew conditioner and I can say that I am very happy with the results – clean, shiny, hydrated and healthy hair. Thank you Beauty Heaven for letting me be part of this trial team. I will definitely continue using this product and recommend it to all my family and friends as well.

It reminded me of the fragrance of my Le Tan sunscreen and I loved it. The shampoo cleaned my hair and scalp really well, took away all the product build-up and my hair still felt soft to touch which was great. It gave me the squeaky clean feeling without stripping the hair of moisture. I didn't feel the need to wash my fine hair daily when using this shampoo as it even tamed my dry frizzy ends to a great extent and did not make my scalp oily. I feel I can avoid washing my hair for 2-3 days if I want without a dry shampoo as the oil doesn't start to show up on the scalp. I anyways wash my hair every 2 days as I don't want too much product build-up but I feel, with this shampoo I can go an extra day without washing them The consistency of the shampoo is creamy and it is white in colour. I didn't have to use too much product so I feel a little goes a long way when it comes to this shampoo The bottle looks really luxurious sitting in my bathroom cabinet and I love the fact that it has a flip cap which is easy to open but is still tight to avoid spillage. The plus point of this shampoo is the fragrance as it leaves my bathroom smelling great. Also, the fragrance stayed in my hair throughout the day and I could smell a hint of it the next day too.

Great seeing a company promising a product without parabens, with pH-balance, and safe to use on coloured hair. Kudos also to offering a green product through a credits program! What does it promise? Soft and free-flowing hair through antioxidants, aloe and sea kelp. Like it's sister-product, it claims to help "purify and protect against what your hair gets used to over time." I shampoo every few days, unless there's serious ickiness. The lid is very easy to open and click shut, but easy to confuse with conditioner through bleary shower-eyes so be careful here. The shampoo itself is a runny white lotion and has a weaker, truer coconut-like fragrance. Instructions are to apply generously, lather and rinse. It didn't leave that awful squeaky, dried-out feeling that so many other products do, so I'd like to believe it left behind a 'barrier of nutrients' like mentioned in its introduction After washing out, I applied it's like-product conditioner. After towelling and air-drying my hair it experienced some serious curl, which to me is proof of high hydration. After drying and into the next few days it still felt nourished and didn't get as greasy as it normally would. I'm delighted with the results, and recommend this bottled coconut cream!

I found with using it a couple of times a week, my hair felt stronger and smoother, it was softer to the touch and it had a noticeable shine to it as well. The shine boost was noticeable from the first use, and the strength just keeps improving each time I use it which is great. My hair was in terrible condition before and now it feels more like healthy and strong hair It's a great sized bottle, I have long hair at the moment and I would get many uses out of the one bottle which is great. It also has a lovely scent to it, strong enough that you can enjoy it while showering but not so strong that it is overwhelming at the same time This is a product that I would happily use time and time again, and I will be repurchasing this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jmr4306 from Wash and wear, hydrating shampoo I am very picky with shampoo but found the Herbal Essences bio:renew Coconut Milk Shampoo to be fantastic for normally my fine, limp hair. My hair can be quite course if I don't blow dry it however with this shampoo and conditioner combo I was able to wash and go and my hair looked great. The shampoo lathered really well without needing very much product and rinsed clean without much effort. I found one shampoo to be enough when with other shampoos I need to wash twice. Even without conditioning my hair left noticeable less dried out than with normal shampoos. The shampoo was really creamy but left no residue in my hair. The scent is beautiful and reminds me of a tropical island holiday. Overall a really easy experience if you're short on time but want to have nice looking hair with minimal effort. Highly recommended!

I've always been a big fan of Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner so when I found out this trial was for their newest range - Bio: Renew Coconut Milk Shampoo and Conditioner, I was over the moon! And I wasn't disappointed when I got my hands on them either! Both the shampoo and conditioner come in a bottle that reminds me of their older bottle styles with the flip top lids, I like the packaging also, the black makes them instantly get my attention as most hair products come in brightly coloured packages so I feel like they will stand out in the shelves for sure. As the product suggests, they both smell like coconut which is one of my favourite scents ever, and as I used them, they reminded me a lot of the Hello Hydration shampoo/conditioner scent (which was my favourite before this stuff came along by the way!). Now let's get into the shampoo and my thoughts - it has a nice creamy texture and foams up nicely when I apply it to my hair, I have bright purple hair and tend to find shampoo washes the colour out a lot and I was actually surprised that not a lot of purple was mixing in with the "foam" as I was scrubbing my hair like it does with all other shampoos I have used in the past, so that's definitely a huge plus for me. On the bottle it actually states that it is a "colour safe shampoo" so I'm really happy to see it's living up to the claim. My hair felt clean with only one wash with the shampoo also, again having brightly coloured hair, I don't wash my hair often (generally once or twice a week to avoid having to colouring my hair so much) and obviously the oils build up over that time and I've found a lot lately that with other shampoos I've needed to do a shampoo twice therefore losing even more colour, but with the Herbal Essences Bio: Renew Coconut Milk Shampoo, I have only needed to do it once and my hair has felt clean, which means I can use less product! Yay! I feel that my hair has had less frizz since using this range also, not that it's something that either the shampoo or conditioner say they help but I've definitely noticed a difference! This range has really exceeded my expectations and I can confidently say that I will be switching from my current shampoo and conditioner to this new range 100%! Well done once again Herbal Essences! I love it and cannot wait to share my thoughts on this product with all my friends and family.

The size of the bottle is very generous and I quite like the shape of the bottle as it's easy to hold. The flip top lid makes it easy to open with wet hands. I also like the smell of the product which was mild and light and I think it is a very unisex fragrance suitable for both males and females. It gives a rich frothy lather which foams up in my hair well, giving me a clean scalp and hair after using it. It does not leave my hair and scalp feeling dry or irritated. Although the deep brown bottle does look nice in my bathroom, I do wish I could see the product through them, so it's easy to see how much product is left in the bottle. Overall a very pleasant shampoo to use which I would use again as it's not stripping and drying to my hair, plus I like how my scalp feels clean from using it.

Applying to wet hair the shampoo lathers up really really nicely! This shampoo makes it so easy to was your hair, sometimes I find that I have to double shampoo but not with this product, one wash is enough to clean my long hair. I find that my hair lasts about two-three days before I have to wash my hair again so that's really good. Its got a good lather and it also washes off really well. This does not leave a residue on my hair or leave my hair feeling really dry or brittle, its very weightless and leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth The smell of the shampoo is just beyond words OMG it smells like a summer vacation is a bottle! and the scent stays on my hair for days. I love the packaging of this bottle. It is so easy to hold with wet hands and very easy to open and close when you're using it. I think that's really important because i'm very guilty of dropping shampoo while trying to close the bottle.

I noticed a difference in my hair after the very first use, The shampoo lathers up extremely well and I noticed I had to use less of this shampoo than I do with other shampoos. The scent I really enjoyed, it had a lovely subtly natural coconut smell and in no way did I feel it was a fake chemical smell. After using this my hair instantly felt clean and fresh. I really like the black packaging on the bottom , the clip to open the bottle is easy to open and the right amount of product came out when squeezing the bottle. Overall I rate this product a 5 out of 5 and am extremely excited for it to be released in supermarkets as it'll be making it my staple go to everyday shampoo from now on.

Love the dark brown bottle with white colour fronts and hints of bright colour features. I cant wait to see the WHOLE range in store ! I have been using this product for 2 weeks now and the product claims that it brings user's hair back to life in just 21 days and i can definitely see this result! As my hair looks more healthier especially at the end and it's becoming very strong! Furthermore,it leaves my hair super soft and hydrated as it does dry out my ends. The Shampoo has a hint of coconut scent mixed with floral but the smell does not stay on my hair but does not bother me because i usually wear my perfume daily to work. To be Honest, I believe Herbal Essence is the best at formulating amazing scents in their hair products using minimal chemicals (as this product also claims 0% parabens, gluten, and colorants). I am pretty impressed with this Herbal Essence Coconut milk shampoo as it provide such high quality product for such affordable price. It has definitely exceed my expectation and will definitely go back to it ! Overall, I am very pleased with the results.

The packaging comes in a dark browny black colour bottle, it comes in a 400 ml bottle its eye catching with a hint of blue, and the bottle is strudy for the shower floor without the bottle tipping or knocking over It is a creamy opaque pearly white texture, it smells so delcious and coconutty. It feels very luxious on my hair. The shampoo foams up quickly making it easy to wash and lather my dont need to use alot about 20cent piece would be enough for long hair past shoulder length. My hair smells fanastic after use! My hair is usually dry and damaged feeling after a few uses it my is feeling silky soft and smooth it feels like salon quality shampoo. I would definately purchase this

When I first saw what I was trialling I was really excited especially when I saw the words "coconut milk". I've always known about the benefits of Coconut but it seems as though it's being talked about more and more because of all the benefits it has. Seriously there is nothing coconut isn't good for! It's hydrating and nourishing for just about every part of your body. It's filled with good fats, has a natural form of SPF in it (SPF 8 I believe) and best of all it smells amazing! Even though we are nearing the end of winter and starting to head towards spring, thank God, my hair still needs a good amount of hydration but nothing too heavy to weigh it down. I noticed that if my hair isn't hydrated enough it gets really frizzy and full of static which is super annoying. The Herbal Essences bio renew coconut water shampoo comes in a generous sized 400ml bottle with no parabens, gluten and colorants. The bottle also looks a lot different compared to the other ones they have. It looks a lot more mature and professional. It is a hydrating shampoo so it is for those who have normal to dry/very dry hair and it is said to be safe for those who colour their hair as well. Opening up the bottle you got a wonderful aroma of coconut but not your typical coconut scent as I know some people aren't a fan. It isn't sickly sweet, but more of a light coconut fragrance that is blended with notes of vanilla and white florals creating a perfect balance. The shampoo is creamy and lathers really nicely giving my hair a good clean. It leaves my hair soft, hydrated and bouncy without weighing my hair down. I could see and feel that my hair and scalp were clean and my hair wasn't as dry before. I had less frizz and when I would blow-dry my hair it always looked so amazing. Sleek and smooth with incredible shine! I have been using it for over a week now and I'm really liking it. It leaves my hair smelling amazing and the shampoo is gentle enough to use for everyday. For someone that uses lots of heat styling products I need a hydrating shampoo to keep my hair strong and healthy and the shampoo helps with that!

Rated 5 out of 5 by emagic from Pleasant and lovely This shampoo is highly effective at purifying which gets rid of excess build up and oil, hydration, moisturising, softening and soothing. It has an ideal creamy lather and has a nice subtle scent of coconut. I would like the scent to be much stronger though. I'm impressed it has antioxidants, aloe and sea kelp. I haven't seen any other similar products out there with such a good combination. The bottle is quite heavy and big but not too big. It's still okay to hold. I like the bottle's simple leaves design though it could be made more interesting with more detail and colour. The description and directions on back are simple, clear and easy to read. I appreciate it's more safe for myself since it's PH balanced and has 0% paraben. I also appreciate it's made in a plant that matches electricity with renewable wind credits. I most highly recommend to all.

It is a deep cleansing shampoo that gets rid of product buildup without stripping hair of moisture. I love that it has no parabens and it really protects my coloured hair. It smells amazing, like coconut oil on a tropical holiday and the scent lasts in my hair. It has a really creamy consistency and lathers up well for a great wash. It leaves my hair really shiny and smooth and it feels silky and soft after styling. It’s a great price for the results so excellent value for money, it’s actually up there with more expensive salon brands. I have very thick hair and this shampoo really worked for me. I would recommend it

This is not a shampoo that I would use more than once a week and ordinarily probably no more than once a month. As someone with very curly dry 3c hair this would be too stroppy for a regular wash. But when I feel like I’m overloaded with product, have been exercising a lot, swimming, and feel like no matter how much I wash my hair just isn’t taking product, if you need to reset this is a good bet. A great inexpensive shampoo, cleanses and resets without completely stripping everything. The scent is nice and coconutty without feeling too cheap or cloying!

From opening the parcel and seeing the bottle and packaging design, to the scent, how strong the shampoo is & how well it busted through the excessive oils and dirt/dust build up all the way to how my hair felt. More floral scented than coconut, but nonetheless, smelt amazing. Lathered well. Didn’t leave my hair feeling like wire/straw, but did dry my scalp out a little. Would definitely recommend as a once or twice a week wash for people that are have oily type hair. However wouldn’t recommend to anyone that is suffering from an already dry scalp. Personally I would buy this again myself ☺️

I used both the shampoo and conditioner for a few months and I am in love with the wonderful coconut scent (reminds me of summer). My hair is wavy, thick, long and tends to be a little dry and this shampoo added moisture without making it feel greasy. The texture is rich and creamy, which works into a beautiful lather and rinses out without leaving any residue, making my hair feel soft and smooth.- and the clean scent stayed on the hair. This shampoo was so gentle and the scent so enticing that even my husband loved it. Another thing that is appealing is that it has no parabens and includes sea kelp and aloe. I have noticed a difference in my hair and will be purchasing the the Herbal essence coconut milk shampoo ( and conditioner) again. I recommend this product.

It's summery and fresh and sweet all at once yet not overpowerful. You only need a really small amount of shampoo and it lathers up beautifully. It leaves the hair feeling clean, fresh, soft and smooth and it definitely helped keep the fly aways at bay. We used it on thick hair with waves and thick hair with curls and it controlled the curls and left them nice and soft. I would recommend this product as a great cheaper option for sure. Our whole family really loved the smell of this shampoo and the conditioner to the point that it was always oooohhh'd and ahhhhh'd over each time we used it!

For me it was a little too overpowering...My 20 year old loved the smell though. It has a good consistency without being too runny so you are not wasting product. As I double shampoo it lathered well after the first wash and my hair felt clean without being too dry. It was easy enough to wash the product out of my hair. Despite the original overpowering smell of coconut it did leave my hair with a nice perfume. I was using this in conjunction with the conditioner which resulted in a nice shiny finish. I would recommend this shampoo/conditioner set to others looking for a well priced product. I would keep an eye out for it at supermarkets when it comes on special.

The product had a wonderful Smell of coconut, vanilla, aloe vera. Once the product is washed out of your hair, the scent does not imprint onto your hair. The texture of the shampoo is silky smooth and can easily be squeezed out of the bottle. This product would be fantastic for those who want to try and alternative shampoo that is free from; animal cruelty and products, parabens, colourants, mineral oils, phthalates, DEA, paraffins. The shampoo easily removed dirt and oil from my hair and recommended to use the conditioner to hydrate your hair

A little goes a long way and is easily spread though the hair. It foams nicely and left me feeling clean without my hair feeling stripped. I would have preferred a little more shine in my hair afterwords but otherwise this is a great alternative to more expensive shampoos. The bottle top is flat which makes it perfect for storing upside down when it gets empty, genius!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who cannot use supermarket products due to extreme hair loss I still have this a try but it made my hair super dry and I felt a film on my hair. I suffer from alopecia so I very cautious when using different products. My daughter tried it and loves it she has super thick frizzy hair and it has left her hair feeling soft and given it shine. Her hair it looking and feeling really healthy. It also smells so good it’s not too overwhelming. Would definitely recommend if you have frizzy thick hair as it’s worked amazingly on my daughter’s hair.

The smell is lovely, and not too strong but still enough to remind you of somewhere warm and tropical. The texture was nice and creamy. The shampoo was easy to wash through my hair and the conditional was thick and easy to get all over my hair. My hair felt nice and clean after washing it, but not dry which is a must with my dry hair. Over all it was a good shampoo and conditioner for the price point.

It had a lovely smell of coconut that I tend to reach for when i get the choice. It was great. I liked how the shampoo lathered. I am one that shampoos twice and was impressed at the lather it made on the first wash making it incredible on the second wash. It also was easy to rinse out and had a lasting smell for a decent amount of time! I did get some compliments from friends and family on the smell. It was a good sized bottle as well so I think it will last quite a while.

Smells so good and isn't so overpowering!! My hair felt hydrated even after the first use! I used this with the Herbal Essences Bio:Renew Coconut Milk shampoo and my hair feels soft. It's been a long time since I used herbal essences brand, so thought I'd give this a shot after receiving a trial. I used the shampoo and the conditioner every second day for my hair, as when I started with it my hair was dull, dehydrated and brittle and this shampoo/conditioner has been helpful in aiding that, my hair doesn't snap when brushing it now, it no longer feels dry. I recommend for dry/coloured hair. Not so much on normal hair as I currently have a ombre hair colour. I noticed it using this on my normal hair and it was too heavy.

I have just used the vegan shampoo & conditioner, my hair feels like and like silk , the ends feel so smooth, I will definitely be buying this all the time now. My partner and i have wild curly hair that isn't always easy to control but my hair has been so soft with no frizz. I love the tropical vibe the bottle gives off also. When opening the bottle the amazing scent that comes out leaves me excited to wash my hair and feel like I am in a tropical oasis. It is not overpowering but gives that holiday fresh scent that I love when washing my hair. When applying this shampoo the lather is nice and even and is easily rinsed out. I always do 2 shampoos and on the second it washed out just as easy leaving my hair feel squeaky clean and fresh. Once dried my hair was increasingly shiny. Considering I have bleach platinum hair I was amazed how soft and glistening my hair was. Typically I tend to buy salon quality shampoos to maintain my hair, however after 2 weeks of using this product I am converted to a more affordable and just as good quality as the expensive products I used to use.
