Rated 5 out of 5 by fortune_favours_the_beautiful from Dreamy coconut conditioner As well as testing out the Herbal Essences coconut milk shampoo, I have tried the accompanying hydrate coconut milk conditioner. As with the shampoo, the coconut scent is the most striking and immediately noticeable aspect. I think the scent is a little different in the conditioner from the shampoo, with the conditioner being a little less strong and sweet. After washing both out of my hair however, there was no lasting scent that remained in my hair. This for me is a very positive aspect of the products, as it really distracts and annoys me to constantly get a whiff of scent every time my hair gets close to my face The conditioner is not too thick, and I had no issues getting it out of the bottle. It helps that the bottles can be gently squeezed, and overall I am very happy with the functionality and ease of use with these bottles. My only (minor) concern would be that the bottles are pretty identical, with only a small difference of colour on the stripe to distinguish the shampoo from the conditioner. That is, without looking carefully at the bottles they are easy to mix up As with the shampoo, the effects on my hair were to moisturise it a little and reduce frizziness to some extent. My hair looks nice and very clean after using these two products. It has not solved my dryness, but I think that it has helped somewhat. These are good products and I may well purchase them in the future once these have run out, whenever I feel the need to relax and embrace the spirit of the tropics.

I have been using this conditioner for more than a week now and I really like it. In combination with its shampoo this product leaves my hair looking clean, shiny and healthy. I was very impressed with results. This conditioner has a thick and creamy texture that spreads easily onto hair. I always try to leave it on for a few minutes to get the best results. The smell is similar to the shampoo, and this is one of my favourite things about these products. I love coconut scent and this one was just perfect and not too overpowering. Both shampoo and this conditioner come in a generous sized bottle and being Herbal Essences I know that these will be affordable for everyone. Thank you Beauty Heaven for letting me be part of this trial team. I will definitely continue using this product and recommend it to all my family and friends as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by neha.gamine from Love Herbal Essences Conditioners but this one surpasses them all OMG...I don't know where to start Packaging: Super luxurious, it looks so beautiful and luxurious sitting in my bathroom cabinet, does not look like a drugstore conditioner bottle. The cap is flip top and is very sturdy which makes me think it will be travel friendly Consistency: The conditioner has creamy, slightly cream gel-like consistency but is white in colour. It smells of coconut which I love, the fragrance is slightly different from the shampoo in the same range and I would have preferred the conditioner to smell exactly like the shampoo (more coconutty), but its okay. Results: I did not have to use much product, a little bit covered my slightly longer than shoulder-length hair (hair type: fine, dry hair with oily scalp) with ease. I left it for a minute and then rinsed it off. I did feel a little bit of residue (creaminess) on my shoulders and upper-back while rinsing it off but it didn't bother me as an extra 20 seconds wash cleared my back of the creaminess that was left behind. The conditioner made my hair super soft and manageable, couldn't stopping running my fingers through my hair as they were so soft and smelled great. Since I had used the conditioner along with the shampoo from the same range, the combination made my hair look shiny, healthy and beautiful, and to my surprise, it controlled the frizz to a great extent. I skipped applying my hair serum and still did not look like a fur ball which usually happens on the day I shampoo my hair. This conditioner has greatly helped in controlling the frizz and made my hair look healthy and super shiny and results were evident from the first wash itself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by gorjus from Revitalises sad hair The first thing I notice about this product is the heavy black container - great to store on the shower shelf or floor upside-down, and the stand-out label on it. It's lovely to see a company promising a product without parabens, is pH-balanced and safe to use on coloured hair. Kudos also to offering a green product through a credits program! What does it promise? Soft and free-flowing hair through antioxidants, aloe and sea kelp. When do I want this? Now! So, here we go.. I applied this straight after it's like-shampoo product. The lid is very easy to open and click shut, but easy to confuse with shampoo through bleary shower-eyes so be careful here. The conditioner itself is like white lotion and has a stronger, sweeter coconut-like fragrance. A little bit spreads a long way, and instructions indicate that it can be applied and removed immediately (I gave it a minute of setting time anyway). It didn't leave any greasy residue and the fragrance lingered longer than I expected. After towelling and air-drying my hair it experienced some serious curl, which to me is proof of high hydration. After drying and into the next few days it still felt nourished and didn't get as greasy as it normally would. I'm delighted with the results, to be honest!

While I really enjoyed using the Herbal Essences bio:renew Coconut Milk Shampoo, it was the conditioner that was the stand out for me in this trial. My hair can be quite course if I don't blow dry it however with this shampoo and conditioner combo I was able to wash and go and my hair looked great. My hair is slightly damaged at the end and tangles easily but was so manageable after using this conditioner. for the first time. The conditioner left my hair silky soft but not at all weighed down. I found my hair was less knotty after using this conditioner and had lots of movement and a slight wave, something I am usually need to blow dry to get. The conditioner was really creamy but left no residue in my hair and gave me results more like a treatment masque than a standard conditioner. The scent is beautiful and reminds me of a tropical island holiday. Overall a really easy experience if you're short on time but want to have nice looking hair with minimal effort. Highly recommended!

I've been using Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioners for many years now, occasionally branching out to try another brand but I always come back to what I know and love, when I was asked to be a part of this trial, I had no idea it was for Herbal Essences so once it was revealed, I was even more excited to give this trial a go than I was before I knew the product/brand! Herbal Essences new range is the Bio: Renew Coconut Milk Shampoo and Conditioner, it has absolutely no parabens which is great news for me as I have bright purple hair and most shampoo and conditioner tends to fade my colour even after one or two washes, after reading this on the packaging I was eager to put this to the test! Neither the shampoo or conditioner has faded my hair colour like other brands I have tried, I had a little bit of colour loss during the shampooing process but nowhere near as much as normal and nothing I was concerned about. Both the shampoo and conditioner state that they are "colour safe" and I can vouch that they both have contributed to my hair not fading so fast like it normally does. As I mention in my review of the shampoo, you kind of expect their products to have a distinct coconut smell and I absolutely LOVE it! It's very much like the Hello Hydration range they do, which has always been my go to until I tried this stuff, it's such a comforting and refreshing scent. The conditioner is thick and creamy and definitely hydrating. I found I didn't need to use as much conditioner as I normally do either which is a total bonus as I tend to fly through conditioner before I even make it halfway through a shampoo bottle. I really like the packaging also, it's like their old bottles - the flip top lid, it's just classic and I really hope they continue with this style bottle. I find the black bottles also very eye catching and I think they'll do great on the shelves standing out amongst all the brightly coloured shampoo and conditioners. The conditioner left my hair feeling so soft and nowhere near as frizzy as it usually is. I will absolutely continue to use these products, they are now my all time favourite!

This conditioner is fantastic its very creamy and smooths out all the knots and tangles in you hair so easily. This conditioner also has a thicker consistency so its coats the hair really nicely and is very moisturising!! I leave this conditioner on my hair for a few minutes before washing off and my hair feels so silky and soft, even after my hair is dry my hair still feels silky smooth. The scent of this conditioner is unbelievable it smells exactly like coconuts! These two product match each other really well, they bother preform really well and have a similar scent and consistency. The conditioner also doesn't leave a residue on my hair and is very easy to wash of leaving my hair and split ends taken care of. The packaging is also very user friendly, its very easy to open and close and the product is very easy to get out of the bottle even when they are starting to get a bit empty, i just cant stand never being able to get the last bit of product out of the bottle.

I found my hair was much shinier after use from the start, and the frizz level was far reduced so that was excellent for styling and also made it appear more hydrated The smell of both the shampoo and conditioner was lovely, subtle enough that you wouldn't get sick of it with regular use, but strong enough that you could be enveloped in the scent in the shower My hair also felt stronger, I didn't have any issues with using it and then blowdrying + straightening my hair, if anything it actually seemed to make it easier to style The bottle design was also lovely, large size which is excellent. I have really long hair at the moment and I would get MANY uses out of each of the bottles I would definitely recommend this to anyone, I think it would be great for many hair types. Mine personally is short, dry and frizzy usually and now I am thrilled with how it feels.

I have dry damaged thick hair and after using this herbel essences coconut milk conditioner I have noticed a huge improvement in the softness of my hair. As soon as i applied the conditioner I knew it was great, the scent is gorgeous natural smelling and my hair felt instantly hydrated and soft. I have found since using this duo that my hair lasts a lot longer in between washes and doesn't get as oily as it used to. My hair is also easy to brush after drying and wasn't knotty at all like it has been in the past using other brands of conditioners. The packaging is beautiful and I really liked the black on the bottle. This is my new go to holy grail conditioner, and since receiving I have disposed of all my other products, I am really excited for this to be released it stores,

The conditioner scent is very similar to the shampoo as it smells very refreshing with a hint of coconut combined with floral. The consistency is not very thick and i think it is because they want to achieve the texture similar to coconut milk but at the same time not too watery. The conditioner was easy and quick to distribute all over my long and thick hair. As soon as I apply it on my hair, my hands could easily glide through my hair. I usually leaves the product in my hair for at least 2 minutes to ensure the product sink into my hair especially the ends. I felt like i was using a high end conditioner from the salon due to the smooth texture and the wonderful scent. It leaves my hair feeling so moisturized and soft without any unnecessary weight which conveys the lack of chemical used in this product. FINALLY FOUND A PRODUCT THAT EFFECTIVELY REDUCED ALL MY FRIZZY HAIR ! ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS :) Surprisingly such high quality product with amazing result for a very affordable price!

I received the Coconut milk conditioner along with the shampoo to test out. The product is new to the Herbal Essences range and as stated on the bottle contains coconut milk. As most of us already know there are so many benefits to coconut so having that in our haircare products can really make a difference especially if you are suffering from dry hair. My hair is more on the normal side but it definitely gets dry at times, especially on the ends from all the heat styling that I do (even though I know I should cut down). Prevention is key and giving your hair the right products to keep it hydrated and strong is important if you are styling it everyday. For me it's important for the product to keep my hair soft, smooth and eliminate frizz which was what I was looking for when I tried out the conditioner. Unlike the other herbal essences products, the coconut conditioner came in a brown coloured bottle that looked more professional compared to the other super colourful and bright haircare products. It contains no parabens, gluten or colourants and is safe enough to use for dyed/coloured hair. Like the shampoo from the same range the conditioner contains antioxidants, aloe and sea kelp. It doesn't exactly say what the ingredients help with but I'm assuming it's for hydration and protecting the hair as antioxidants prevent damage. The smell is heavenly: a perfect mix of coconut with vanilla and floral scents and it just fills up your shower and leaves your hair smelling amazing. I couldn't help but smell my hair throughout the day. The conditioner is creamy and all you need is a small dollop. I applied it from the middle of my hair and worked my way down making sure my ends really got a good coating of the conditioner. It honestly cut through my hair like butter. It detangled my hair and left it super soft and manageable. Brushing my hair was a breeze. I could tell that the conditioner was very hydrating but not in a heavy or oily way. I could feel the difference because some oil based conditioners would make my hair limp and feel heavy. The conditioner helped tame any frizz I had, made my strands much smoother and shinier. I have been using it for over a week now and I will continue to use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by emagic from Nice and hydrating conditioner This conditioner is revitalising and is superior in hydrating, softening and smoothing. I love that it has added antioxidants, aloe and sea kelp. I haven't seen any other similar products out there with such a good combination. It has a very nice feel and texture and has a lovely subtle scent of coconut. The bottle is solid and quite large but despite that it is manageable to handle. The bottle has a simple design with leaves which could be made more interesting with more detail and different colours. The description and directions on back are simple, clear and easy to read. Since it is PH balanced and has 0% paraben it should be good for people with sensitive skin. I also appreciate that it is green friendly and made in a factory that matches electricity with renewable wind credits. I most highly recommend it to all who want all these benefits.

It’s great value for the price, especially as a little goes a long way. It detangles really well which is great for me as I have very thick hair that tangles easily. I love the silky creamy consistency, it spreads over my hair well and rinses well leaving my hair really soft and shiny when styled. It makes keeping my hair smooth easier and helps prevent frizz and flyaways. I love that it’s free from parabens and it smells divine, like coconut oil on a tropical holiday. I will buy this conditioner again and would recommend it

The conditioner was not as overpowering as the shampoo in regards to smell. Again the consistency was good without being too thick. It conditioned my hair effectively and left it with a nice shine. Being a curly girl I always leave a little conditioner in my hair to aid with moisture. The conditioner was not heavy and the residue did not weigh down my hair. I would recommend this to others that are looking for a reasonable priced product.

Free from animal, cruelty,free from all the nasties but while having a wonderful scent of topical beauty! The condition does a wonderful job at hydrating your hair, but be careful to not put too much in as it will leave a residue once washed and dried. I recommend using both the shampoo and the conditioner to get the best results and outcome. The price for both shampoo and conditioner is not an issue, the size of the bottle and how eco friendly the product matches what is charged!

The smell is lovely, and not too strong but still enough to remind you of somewhere warm and tropical. The texture was nice and creamy. The shampoo was easy to wash through my hair and the conditional was thick and easy to get all over my hair. My hair felt nice and clean after washing it, but not dry which is a must with my dry hair. Over all it was a good shampoo and conditioner for the price point.

I love coconut and this is very much up there in the products that does this smell well. It was easy to use the product on the ends and shafts of my hair. one thing is that I wish the bottles were more distinguishable from each other, maybe different background colour or lid colour. you have to be careful to read and search for where it says shampoo and conditioner before using the product. This is a small pet peeve that SO many companies do. Also, with slippery hands, especially by the time it comes to using conditioner, I do prefer the pump bottle to easily dispense the product with only hand.

I massaged a small amount of conditioner into my hair and found i had to use another squirt on my long hair. After using my hair not only smelt amazing but it was so soft and smooth. I really liked the bottles and the fact that all the nasties are left out of this Formular. Generally I usually buy salon products for my hair but after using thus is would recommend this product to anyone on a budget.

Smells so good and isn't so overpowering!! My hair felt hydrated even after the first use! I used this with the Herbal Essences Bio:Renew Coconut Milk conditioner and my hair feels soft. It's been a long time since I used herbal essences brand, so thought I'd give this a shot after receivinga trial. I used the conditioner and the shampoo every second day for my hair, as when I started with it my hair was dull, dehydrated and brittle and this shampoo/conditioner has been helpful in aiding that, my hair doesn't snap when brushing it now, it no longer feels dry. I recommend for dry/coloured hair. Not so much on normal hair as I currently have a ombre hair colour. I noticed it using this on my normal hair and it was too heavy.

The conditioner is so silky and leaves my hair knot free and soft. As I only wash my hair 1-2 times a week it gets quite dry usually but I have found it stays softer and shinier longer. My partner loves to use it and his hair is very curly. It holds his curls together nicely and smells so good. Gives summer vibes and leaves a sweet and subtle smell of coconut. Super affordable which is great, don't mind sharing this one.

The scent of this conditioner is to die for!! I felt like I was in a tropical oasis from the beginning of my hair washing process right till the end. When applying this condition the texture was wonderful, it’s not too thin where it just ran through my fingers and wouldn’t spread. Or to think where it felt like it was going to way my hair down. The conditioner spread evenly throughout my hair in an even coating. I left the conditioner on for 5 mins and throughout the process I could feel the conditioner conditioning my hair and getting softer and tangle free. When washing out it washed out easily and wasn’t heavy or left a residue behind. My hair was so so easy to brush, with bleached platinum hair this is super important as this has prevented so much breakage. Once dry my hair felt incredibly soft and the shine is to die for. The only issue I have found is with fine hair I did find my hair started getting a bit oily after 2 days where I would usually get 3 - 4 days out of a wash. I have started decreasing the amount near my scalp and more focused on my end and it has helped alot

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kirsty T. from Coconut smell is on point [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I felt like this conditioner actually drivers on what it promises, which was a nice surprise as I haven’t had good experiences with “natural” based products. It definitely made my hair feel well moisturised immediately after use and held moisture quite well even once blow dried. I did tend to let it soak in a little longer than I normally would just to give it the best chance, but because it’s free of all nasties my hair and scalp didn’t mind at all. The coconut smell is definitely worth mentioning as it is a really good one- it’s not overly sweet, doesn’t smell synthetic and actually makes you want to run away to the Bahamas! ;) I would definitely recommend this conditioner for anyone looking to ditch the nasty additives and who loves a good coconut smell.

This divine smelling conditioner left my hair soft, silky and so shiny. I do feel however that it isn't as moisturising as my long hair needs so would recommend it in conjunction with a regular deep conditioning hair mask. But such great value for money and a top supermarket or pharmacy option. The smell is lovely, just like being on a tropical holiday. When used in conjunction with the matching shampoo, I did find it a bit drying but if your hair gets a little oily or you need to remove build up - these are a great find.

Love the scent of this product. It has the tropical coconut scent that transports me to a summer holiday in a tropical beach somewhere. The scent is not overpowering at all. The scent lingers on my hair throughout the day, and I really love that. Love that this conditioner softened my hair. I have long, fine, curly hair and this conditioner helped to retain my natural curls without causing frizz. It also left my hair, easy to comb without any tangles. My hair felt smooth and silky, and it did not strip out any moisture from my hair.

I used it paired with the coconut milk shampoo and continued to use it every 2-3 days for 3 weeks. The packaging is pretty, I like the design and colours. The conditioner feels super soft in my hands when applying it to my hair, it has a nice smell but isn’t too strong. After my hair dried it didn’t really smell like anything at all. I usually like my hair to have a nice scent. When my hair dried it felt soft but I think it could’ve been softer. I’ve used products before when my hair dries I can just run my fingers through it and don’t even have to brush it but I found with this one I still needed to brush it. No big deal. It has no parabens, colourants, mineral oils, BHA’s, DEA’s, coal tar hair dyes and other coal tar ingredients, paraffins and no added phthalates. It did make my hair sit well, not frizzy or fluffy which I liked. It’s great that the products are natural so if you have a sensitive scalp or react to certain things this would be good for you. I suffer with dandruff, it didn’t get rid of it but it didn’t get any worse while using it either. My hair did seem healthy after using it. The price of this product is reasonable I found it in woolworths for $8.40 for the 400ml bottle. Although this is a great product they are not right for me and I prefer to use other products so I would not purchase them again. I like my hair to feel super soft when it’s dried, and more scent after it’s dried. I would recommend them to family and friends that prefer natural products though.

This conditioner has got a soft silky texture and fragrant calming scent to it. You feel good using it knowing that it is free of parabens. I used about 4-5 pumps of this product to massage into my thick long hair. It gives you that being pampered feel enjoying the scents whilst conditioning your locks. This product is suitable for my dry damaged bleached hair as my hair needs constant hydration. I wash my hair about 3-4 times a week and use this about 3 times in between my protein treatments. It compliments the hair treatment I’m using as it hydrates which my hair badly needed although I still use hair oils to smoothen out my hair during drying. It’s a great product for those with healthy hair, those with dry damaged hair like mine must use other treatments to supplement. Overall I recommend this.

It comes in a beautifully designed bottle. It’s great value for money as it comes in a generous size bottle and works well to hydrate my hair which is needed because I’m out in the sun most days which dries my hair out and can make it dull. It lathers up really well in my long hair and smells absolutely divine. The coconut scent is so relaxing. I love it so much I wish the strong scent stayed in my hair when I washed it out but once rinsed the smell was light. Herbal essence does make a coconut oil hair blend that smells the same and goes great once dried to keep that beautiful coconut smell. The conditioner hydrates my hair without making it oily and leaves it soft with a nice healthy shine. My hair definitely looks and feels better and I love that it’s vegan and cruelty free.

I have dry curly hair and a very sensitive scalp. The shampoo didn’t agree with my scalp but the conditioner was ok, as long as I kept the product on the mid lengths and ends of my hair. I attempted to leave the conditioner in as a leave in but was not successful. It is a product that needs to be rinsed thoroughly. My partner used the product daily for a couple weeks and loved it and had no scalp issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this conditioner together with the shampoo and they were a great combination. Lovely light coconut fragrance and quite nourishing for my dry hair, although I still needed a deeper condition on the weekend, but that’s probably my very dry hair’s fault. As I mentioned in the shampoo review, it’s hard to tell the difference between the two without glasses if you’re eyesight is like mine, so make sure you know which is which before you step into the shower! Overall I really like it and would recommend it for dry hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a person who is quite picky with conditioners and tend to not use any because of how much they can weigh down my hair that is long and naturally very straight. I like this conditioner but when I was trying to rinse it out after I had left in for a bit, it took a little bit to get it out. I could still residue on my hand even after my shower but after it dried my hair was perfectly fine and found no issues with it after. My hair did not feel heavy or staticky after use and was left feeling soft and shiny. Goes well with matching shampoo, great product for those who need maximum moisture without the heaviness.
