General Information

Cetaphil Sun Kids Liposomal Lotion SPF 50+ provides very high UV protection while also nourishing kids' delicate skin. This hypoallergenic, hydrating sun lotion offers four hours of water resistance, and comes with a pump dispenser for easy and even application.

Cetaphil Sun Kids Liposomal Lotion SPF 50+ absorbs quickly and is water-resistant for 4 hours, delivering highly effective UVA and UVB protection without blocking pores. Hypoallergenic and free from fragrance or parabens, the liposomal formula makes the lotion easy to spread, plus it's enriched with soothing Aloe Vera, Panthenol, Glycerin and Vitamin E to nourish your child's sensitive skin. Perfect for use on the face and body.

Directions

Apply liberally to face and body 15 to 20 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply regularly every 2 hours, especially after swimming or towelling.

I have bought several bottles of this and have never been burnt! My daughter (3 yrs old) has eczema and this does not irritate it at all and she has never been burnt either! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I purchased this at Priceline during a beauty bag bonanza and dare I say it has to be one of the best sunscreens I have come across for the whole family! I initially purchased this products for my two young kids as it's suitable for sensitive delicate skin however with the high spf of 50 I tried this on myself as well and was very pleased with the results. This is so easy to blend into my everyone's skin (great for in-patient kiddies that don't want to wait), absorbs well and there's no stinging of the eyes. It's light on the skin, is non-greasy, doesn't feel like youre wearing sunscreen, doesn't leave a veil on the skin. Just a light beautiful lotion without any scents! The size is decent and love the pump action bottle making application super easy! This has been the family summer essential this year and has come on every outing to the beach this summer! Our skin has been very well protected using this sunscreen! I did do a recent brand switch on myself during an outing and was sad to say that I got sun burnt with the other brand (same heat and same duration in the sun :( ) ! Quick switch back to this fabulous product! Buying the perfect sunscreen is very hard as there are so many choices out there but this checks all the boxes for my family and is very reasonably priced! This is definitely on my future buys list! Highly recommend!

It absorbs quickly without having to spend minutes rubbing it in (you can't make a 7-year old wait that long). I use it as well and I also like that it's not sticky and absorbs quickly. In addition to that, I like that it's fragrance-free and doesn't leave an ashy cast on my olive skin. The special thing about this sunscreen is that it didn't make my skin break out even though it has chemical sunscreen ingredients. Usually my face only tolerates mineral sunscreens and breakout when I use chemical sunscreens. This will definitely be on my repurchase list when it runs out.

It has a very high level of SPF so that it keeps their skin protected from UV rays all day. I would recommend reapplying the product after a few hours as it absorbs into the skin very quickly

It has a pleasant scent and is very easy to apply. Leaves the skin very soft and has not triggered eczema in my kids to date. Does seem to leave a bit of residue on the pool surface however...

It is a lovely sunscreen but I find it too shiny to use on my face daily (I have combination/dry, sensitive skin) I have named this year the year of the sunscreen. It has been my aim to find MY perfect sunscreen. A sunscreen that perfectly balances price/volume with cosmetic elegance such that I actually WANT to wear it, and wear the right amount (1/2-1tsp for face and neck + reapplications throughout the day) everyday. Whilst this one is not my fav, it was until recently one of the top few What I love:<br />- Doesn't sting the skin around my eyes<br />- Packaging, when you peel back the label it gives you a table of approximate dosage instructions for various ages, I can't believe more sunscreens don't do this - genius!<br />- The pump dispenser, its no no nonsense so you always dispense and apply the correct amount.<br />- Consistency - its relatively light and absorbs well for a sunscreen but not so light that you're in danger of under-applying What I don't love:<br />- The smell. Its not your typical sunscreeny smell, but I find that both of the cetaphil liposomal sunscreens I have tried have this weird musty scent that hands around for as long as you're wearing it. I found it just a bit distracting, I would smell it on my face and hands at random times of the day. Not pleasant.<br />- The finish. I find it quite shiny on application. This does dull down after a while but it still stays more 'dewy' than I would like. I prefer the Cetaphil Dermacontrol SPF 30+ moisturiser.

Packaging claims it is non-greasy - it is quite greasy making it difficult to wear in appropriate amounts to be protective enough on the face. Would not repurchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Alright I bought this around a month or so ago and I've only used it twice because, although its not terrible, it has a pretty strong smell of alcohol until you rub it into your skin. I also look pretty purple/ghost like until I rub it a lot, but my skin is a medium shade of brown so that could be why. Also, it is quite greasy until you rub it in and wait maybe 10-15 minutes. I do really like the dispenser though and the bottle. I think it does protect me well from the sun.

It's really unfortunate because otherwise I would have continued using this sunscreen

However it has a light green tinge which means all your white clothes and light coloured bathers will be discoloured after coming into contact. Not all the colour has washed out of shirts.
