Directions

Use 2 pumps twice a day after cleansing and toning, and before moisturizer. Apply evenly on face until the serum is absorbed. How to use the auto-dropper: (1) Twist and turn the cap to automatically draw out the serum (2) Press and hold the pump to dispense on palm or fingers.

As a consequence I have large areas of brown pigment on the sides of my face. The Olay Regenerist Luminous tone perfecting treatment has begun to fade these areas after only a couple of weeks of daily treatment. A couple of drops goes a long way.

The right amount of drops can be used without wastage depending on the area you want to tone.A little goes a long way that is non greasy, absorbed quickly with a hit of aroma. My skin feels terrific especially when it comes to the brown spots making a huge improvement. I highly recommend it.

The design of the packaging is very appealing and looks high end. I'm not a fan of the dropper application though, I don't feel like I have enough on my face after one application. The product absorbed well in to my skin and was easy to rub in. It felt smooth and lovely on my skin and did not leave any unwanted texture or feeling. After using this product for a month I am surprised that I actually have noticed a difference. My skin really does appear more youthful and bright. The product is more expensive then I thought it would have been for a mainstream brand, but I think I would still purchase again as I don't usually see results from products.

A compact and sturdy container that looked very stylish makes it very easy to throw in a bag and not worry about spilling. The unique pump at the top was also impressive, allowing the user to only grab the amount of product that they want. On application i was struck by the milky nature of the serum. Most serums i have used in the past have been thick and sticky and left my skin feeling clogged. This did not occur with the Olay Niacinamide Super Serum. It was extremely light when applied and left my skin feeling very fresh. I also noticed a difference with my complexion after using it for a good 10 days. It definitely looked brighter and younger which I am very pleased about. As I have a pink based complexion this product was perfect for me to try and i highly recommend it to others that have the same complexion.

It is not too runny nor too thick and has serum-like consistency which I love. It is very easy to apply and quickly absorbs upon application. It does not feel sticky or oily on my face. My skin instantly feels silky smooth after application. I use a moisturiser over it as I have dry skin. I have used it under my makeup and it worked well with my foundation. I have used it for a few weeks, though I have not seen a change in my dark spots but I have noticed that my skin is soft and nourished after regular use. Overall, I like this serum and it worked well with my dry skin type. I hope that I can see some changes in my dark spots after some weeks.

So, I was lucky enough to be one of the people chosen to try the Olay Niacinamide Super Serum, and while (spoiler alert) it’s not particularly groundbreaking, it’s an excellent serum that can help bring some luminosity to the skin. This particular serum comes in a dropper bottle that sucks up the serum as the cap is screwed on (ie the dropper is depressed) and you’re meant to use two lots on your face in one go. It’s a good idea to give yourself a few seconds between each round to allow for absorption to happen, and just really work it into your skin. The serum sinks into the skin quite nicely, but does still leave your skin feeling a little tacky. That said, it doesn’t end up feeling like much, once you pile the rest of your skincare on top of it. It’s meant to help with reducing pigmentation, while adding glow to the skin. After two weeks of using this regularly, on first impressions, I have found my skin to be more resilient, and more ok with a change in routine, and I love that it’s also a little brighter! Overall, it’s been a positive experience, but I’ll have to continue using it to really test it out for longer.

I would classify my skin as dehydrated so I was looking forward to using this serum to see if it would do a good job hydrating my skin. Firstly, the packaging of the serum bottle is lovely. It is housed in a sturdy glass bottle with a pearl finish. The dropper is so handy that it picks up about a full pipette of serum - enough for my face and neck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the serum since I've received it two weeks ago, and I have seen my face showing noticeable improvements of having glowy and smoother skin. The slight scent is pleasurable when applying the product on the face, and the formula is absorbed by the skin in seconds! I have always had dark circles, however by using this serum it has evened out the dark spots and circles on my face, giving me a healthy glow which looks amazing! One thing to mention might just be the pump, the design is quite special, but sometimes it doesn't pump up as enough serum in one go. However, the overall application is very quick and easy, and would love to recommend girls who want more glow from within their skin to have a try!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Olay Niacinamide Super Serum | Pleasant to use | Pending results Thank you BH and Olay for the oppurtunity to trial this beautiful niacinamide super serum. This serum comes in a luxurious , heavy glass bottle with an automatic pipette that is pre-set to dispense a set amount of serum each time. The serum itself is opaque white in color, with slighly luminous finish. It is slightly viscous, but nevertheless easy to apply. Compared to other serum that I have been using, it does not have the same spreadability or slip - e.g. one pump is just enough to cover face and neck, which is a larger amount that I would normally required of other serums. This serum is quick to be absorbed, while providing a slightly tacky finish, it does not interfere with other skincare layers. It does not pill or balls up, it works really well under makeup. It has a fragrance which reminds me of shampoo, but over time I am more accustomed to how it smells. Even though the description says made with "99% pure niacinamide", it does NOT mean that the serum contains a concentration of 99% niacinamide, and it can't be because niacinamide is the 3rd ingredient (maximum concentration would have been around 30%, but I suspect much less). It simply means the starting ingredient was niacinamide with 99% purity. It actually makes me wonder what that 1% impurity is. Anyhow, studies show that a concentration of 5% (along woth other parameters) has brightening properties. Most serums are not formulated over 10% of niacinamide, therefore it does not bother me that the concentration is not 99% - however it would be nice if this type of irrelevant marketing has not been used. The other area for improvement is the dispensing system. I mentioned before that the bottle comes with an automatic pipette which dispenses a set amount - which is supposed to be convenient and give a consistency as to the amount used. However, a closer read at the instructions shows that 2 pumps need to be used each time. In order to dispense a pre-set amount of 2 pumps, I need to unscrew the lid, dispense the serum, screw back the lid, wait for the serum to draw (it has a viscosity so drawing the serum is not immediate), then unscrew the lid again, then dispense the serum, then screw the lid back. I honestly cannot be bothered. In order to use more than 1 pump each time, what I started doing is to empty all serum onto my palm, press the button all the way down, let the dropper draw the serum manually to the maximum possible, close the lid and use that pump with maximum amount the next time (it is not easy to visualise this until one sees the serum and knows how that pipetting system works). I realised that in doing so it defeats the purpose of the pre-set amount but it is the only practical way. It would have been ideal if the dropper is made with a widee diameter and the preset amount is exactly what is needed instead of 50%. That is just one minor improvement that can be made. Overall I am very satisfied with this product. I know that I am picky when it comes to skincare in general, but this serum is pretty up there in terms of how I would rate it. It does what I need it to do which is to keep skin supple and hydrated. The trial period was about 2.5 weeks so I honestly cannot say that it has evened my skin tone as yet, but so far so good and I do notice that my skin is luminous and looks very healthy. Even though I use more amount of this serum tham others it still works out to be very affordable. Depending on the final results upon finishing this bottle, there may be a purchase from me.

Niacinamide of course has a range of benefits, ranging from improving skin barrier to reducing dark spots to balancing skin sebum levels and reducing dark spots. Basically, it's one of the most amazing ingredients to grace skin care products. I'm happy to report that on my skin that can be a bit temperamental, this product worked beautifully. My normally combination skin has been looking more normal with an even sebum distribution throughout. Some fragrances in skincare can also wreak havoc with my skin, but in this case, in spite of the fragrance, the formula was gentle enough that there was no adverse reaction at all. I used another product from the Luminous range before, the Whip Moisturiser, which my skin did not like. This, on the other hand, is much gentler without sulphates, parabens, phthalates, petrolatum and mineral oils. I like that it absorbs in seconds, works well under makeup, and is super lightweight, and oils and moisturisers that I apply over the serum absorbs well. Great serum.

I love the benefits of niacinamide. The product itself has a lightweight consistency which is not too runny nor greasy and absorbs into the skin very easily. I use this as my first serum so my skin can reap all the benefits. The fact the product is formulated without any nasties in is a bonus for me. Whilst using the product I noticed a clarity to my skin. Dark spots have begun to fade and it has helped with evening skin tone. I will certainly continue using this as it is a lovely serum. The product also smells divine. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a niacinamide serum!

The serum was light and smoothed on nicely. When I started using this product I had some dry areas around my mouth and nose and I found it really helped in keeping those areas moisturized. I have noticed the evening of my skin tone but my dark spots seemed more noticeable then before using this product. Although as I continued to use, the areas seem to be slowing disappearing or should I say evening out with the rest of my skin tone. I definitely feel my skin is brighter! I will purchase and continue to use this product. I do recommend this product.

Absorbs into the skin without any feeling of residue and leaves an glowy finish. I have noticed an improvement in my skins texture and brightness. My skin tone is more even and this product has been an east and effective product to add into my skin care routine. I will happily continue using this serum and would definitely recommend it anybody who wants to improve to brightness and overall texture of their skin. The only reason I am not giving this product 5 stars is the bottle top. I found the amount of product that came out of the dropper was different each time and I had to sometimes draw the product into the dropper 3 or 4 times to get it into my hand to use. Not a major issue and wouldn’t stop me from purchasing in the future.

I’ve actually never used Olay products before so this was a first impression on the product and brand. I love the sleek packaging and the product is fast drying, doesn’t leave your skin feeling sticky or heavy like most serums can do. I use this on my entire face and neck as well under my moisturiser twice a day. Great option if you’re not after a serum with a hefty price tag. It’s a great size so I would say this would last a few months.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Luminous serum The Olay Niacinamide Super Serum comes in a silver and torquoise blue box and is housed in a 30ml luminous pearlescent white glass bottle with a silver lid with unique twist and press applicator/dispenser. The design is quite simple and minimalist which I like. The serum itself is milky white with a lotion like consistency that's not too thick or runny. It has a light scent, which I find very nice/non overpowering and pleasant. It fades relatively quickly after application. I find it very easy to dispense the right amount of serum every time with the handy twist/dropper dispenser. The serum applies and absorbs easily and quickly into the skin and feels lightweight without being sticky. My face feels lightly hydrated and looks fresh and more radiant after application. The serum claims to visibly reduce the look of dark spots and even out the skin tone and texture in 28 days. Unfortunately I've only been able to test this for about 2 weeks but so far, I feel like my skin feels and appears smoother and generally looks more radiant. I am enjoying using this serum and will continue until I finish it. I don't have much redness or many visible dark spots, but understand niacinamide is a great ingredient to combat that. I'm hoping this will help prevent me from getting dark spots.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Filling a gap in purpose of serums [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This serum has filled a gap for me in my serums that hydrate and those to combat wrinkles. The Olay Luminous Niacinamide Super Serum comes in dropper form which is easy to apply. While the formula appears a bit sticky on application, there is no left over sticky residue or feeling once absorbed into the skin which happens quickly. I have had noticeable improvement in the texture of my skin and some reduction in the appearance of dark spots after a weeks use. This makes a great addition to current skincare regimes rather than a replacement.
