General Information

Neutrogena Sheer Zinc Dry-Touch Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 for sensitive skin is hypoallergenic and up to 2 hours water resistant. The mineral based sunscreen contains zinc oxide for physical broad spectrum sun protection.

Neutrogena Sheer Zinc Dry-Touch Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 is a mineral based sunscreen that provides high broad spectrum sun protection whilst being gentle on skin.

With Purescreen zinc oxide, it filters out harmful UVA and UVB rays from skin. Suitable for daily protection. Lightweight, this non greasy sunscreen lotion applies easily and leaves an invisible matte finish on skin.

Warnings

Warnings: Do not use on damaged or broken skin. Avoid contact with eyes. May be irriating to eyes. If product gets into eyes rinse thoroughly with water. For external use only. Directions

Apply liberally to all exposed areas 15 to 20 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply frequently (at least every 2 hours) and immediately after swimming, excessive perspiration, towelling, or prolonged sun exposure.

No allergy, worked 100% in protecting her skin from sunburn even after hours in the pool and a week of camping in 38° heat everyday.

Trying new products is always a risk but from the first time I used this a few months ago I haven’t looked back. Doesn’t irritate my skin and can be worn under my make up! Doesn’t smell too strong either. Highly recommend this for people with sensitive skin.

The product is labelled as 'dry-touch' and that is exactly what it is. It didn't leave any marks on clothes and didn't have that sticky pore-clogging 'sunscreen-feel'. Product was for sensitive skin (which I have) and did not cause any redness or eczema flare-ups. A safe reliable product which offers great sun-protection (even on 40 degree+ days) for face and body. Definitely worth purchasing.

I wasn't interested in a chemical sunscreen and having tried a few brands, this is my go to. Initially it is thick and has a white film, but it quickly dries and becomes clear. Importantly it is not greasy. I apply it to my face in the morning before heading out to work and leave it for a few minutes before applying makeup. It doesn't pill. My daughter also likes it and she is 2 and a half. No irritation to date. I highly recommend it. It is more expensive than the chemical sunscreens, but overall it does a better job and the risk of irritation is reduced.

It stays on my skin and doesnt transfer onto clothes or fabrics in my experience. I had to use this on bubs one day as I ran out of baby sun cream and was fantastic, it spread well and provided great sun protection.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gentle on skin, strong on protection I’m very fussy when it comes to sunscreen and this is my number one choice for my outdoor, water loving, fair skinned toddler. This sunscreen goes on and it stays on. If I’m a bad mum and forget to reapply after 2hrs he still doesn’t get visibly burnt. It doesn’t have the offensive odour some sunscreens have and it doesn’t feel overly greasy. Most sunscreens irritate my skin but I don’t react to the Neutrogena Sheer Zinc. The only reason it loses a star is because I can’t wear it on my face. It’s sheer but not invisible and I don’t like how it looks on my face, especially in photos. If I was rating it for my child only it would get five stars but I need to purchase a seperate product for myself.

It’s non oily and sits perfectly under the foundation however my only complaint is the zinc residue it makes your skin look really white even under foundation . Overall it’s a really good sunscreen though.

The flip-top lid makes it easy to use and there is no mess. The sunscreen itself was brilliant because it was not runny... yet not too thick either. It applied like a white zinc but became invisible after being rubbed in to the skin. There is no typical "sunscreeny" fragrance to the product, which is great. I also liked the fact that the sunscreen dried on the skin and did not leave a greasy residue.
