General Information

Avène Cleanance Cleansing Gel deeply cleanses to remove impurities which block pores (dust, pollution etc.) and reduces excess sebum, without drying out the skin.

Directions

Frequency of use: Daily
Tips for use: Apply morning and/or evening, preferably to a moistened face, neck or upper back. Gently lather with circular motions, rinse thoroughly and pat dry.

An expert tip
• Cleanse your face morning AND evening to eliminate excess sebum accumulated during the day and night.
• If the water in your local area is “hard”, after cleansing with a cleansing gel, finish with a spritz of Avène Thermal Spring Water Spray. It will have a soothing and softening effect.

I enjoy a good foamy lather in a face wash, but find that too many foaming face washes also leave my skin feeling dry, stripped and tight afterwards. I have not had that problem with this face wash. As I normally wear a full face of make up on weekdays, I double cleanse every evening with an oil cleanser followed by this face wash and find all of my make up is removed with this. A little more expensive than your average supermarket brand cleanser, but I buy the 400mL bottle and find it lasts for months.

The Avene soapless gel cleanser is great because it helps keep my skin clean, helps to remove any makeup that I have on my face and foams up nicely for a super clean and refreshed feeling without leaving my skin feeling stripped. The bottle is quite large so it lasts a long time. You could even use this as a body wash too and I find that the formula is gentle enough to use everyday. It doesn't have a strong scent and it keeps my skin balanced and shine free.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed I bought this 400ml Avene cleansing gel at Chemist Warehouse in Castle Tower Shopping Center NSW about a month ago, as l finished the other face cleanser, this morning l tried to use this one, but as per arrow indication to turn to open to try to make the lid pop up so that l can easily squeeze, no matter how hard I tried, for about an hour, even with my husband's help, it wouldn't budge, so l then tried to pour some in a small bottle, the 125ml empty one l previously used, but due to the tube too narrow for this gel, it won't be squeezed out, what a mess, l have never come across such a despicable faulty Pop up squeez lid in any similar products. The only way l can use it is to open the bottle and pour some in a container, finger tip a bit, then try to close the lid etc, imagine how messy and inconvenient it will be in a shower for daily use. Absolutely crap! ByAs l have never imagined it'd have this problem, l didn't keep the receipt. I'm so upset and disappointed, as l read the online reviews and was excited then that l had finally found a good face cleanser.
