Removing the shiny golden lid reveals a subtly fragranced and coloured cream. I thought it was going to be too thick for me but was surprised at how easily it was absorbed into my normal but 50+ skin. I used my other usual products with it. My skin feels soft and well moisturised and crows feet extending towards my temples do look a little less marked. i would like to say the horizontal lines across my forehead also look softer, but since i have had those for many years, (too much frowning in my younger days) that is probably wishful thinking. i have enjoyed using this cream and would recommend its use to L'Oreal lovers. 'Cause everything about this product screams luxury experience, except for the fragrance, (I'll get to that later). Packaging: in a weighty, duotone gold glass jar, this night cream will be out on display. Product: A dense creme, that glides over the skin effortlessly, leaving skin feeling nourished, protected, and silky to the touch, without being greasy. My skin very rarely feels revived and plumped with hydration, but did so within minutes of application, and remained that way until morning. FYI: It sits well under a liquid foundation, for those suffering from dry patchy skin. Also: My face and neck were not the only areas to benefit from this night creme. It has done a remarkable job of renourishing the skin on my palms, that were split and peeling, owing to an autoimmune condition. The one negative: The fragrance is rather strong, and if you are too heavy handed, your sinuses may suffer. Those who can not tolerat flowers such as jasmin, may want to give it a miss.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Joy B. from A pleasant surprise [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Much like its partner eye cream, I found the L’Oreal Paris Golden Age Re-Densifying Night Cream quite thick and waxy in texture but a little less moisturising than my (admittedly) very dry skin needs. I felt it dragged on my skin as I applied it and wasn’t convinced it was rich enough. After trying it for a few weeks I actually gave it a go one morning after a nice hot shower and, while I initially regretted that decision (as my eyebrows stood upright), the cream soaked into my skin beautifully and by the time I was ready to apply my make up my skin felt amazing. Prior to that experiment I was ready to give this cream around three stars but I’m bumping that up to four now because I’ve fallen for its charms as a day cream and at this price point am happy to slather it on! If your skin is combination or slightly dry you will likely love Golden Age Re-Densifying Night Cream as part of your evening routine but if your skin is very dry, like mine, try it in the morning for a pleasant surprise.

I was looking forward to trying it as I am also using the L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Golden Age Rosy Radiant Care Eye Cream right now, so they are made for each other. The cream is packaged in a pretty rose gold shiny cardboard box, which houses the heavy glass jar that encases the night cream. All topped off with a pretty gold twist lid. The packaging is luxurious and nice to show off on the bathroom counter or bedroom drawers. I do wish, that when brands decide to house their products in jars, they provide a spatula that can be used to retrieve the product from the jar. I hate the idea of putting my fingers in the jar to retrieve some cream, all the while I am contaminating the entire jar of product. It’s unhygienic. Now onto the night cream itself…. I was surprised when I initially touched the cream, it is a very solid, balm-like texture. I was also surprised by the very pretty floral scent, which went with the cream. I must admit that I haven’t been a fan of particular creams of L'Oréal Paris’s in the past but this one is lovely. I found myself digging into the jar repeatedly, in an effort to get enough product to apply all over my face and neck, it’s not an easily spreadable cream, hence, I found that I used quite a bit more product than I’m used to. I used this every night after cleansing, toning, eye cream, facial serum. Because the cream doesn’t go far during application, I decided that I would concentrate on a certain area and massage the night cream in gently, with every dip into the jar, eventually ending with my face and neck covered. I am 50, so have maturing and very dry skin. I found the cream absorbed quickly upon application, leaving my skin feeling sufficiently hydrated and moisturised. But unfortunately, about 15-20 minutes later, my skin would be feeling dry, I’d have to apply my rose hip oil over top to add extra hydration. My Observations: Honestly, I was not expecting a lot of change, as I’ve only been using the product once a day for a month. But I’ve been studying my face in the mirror over the month, like I always do when I am trialing any skincare product and there are positive changes in my skin. My facial skin all-over, looks and feels a little firmer. My skin looks healthy. My sunspots/age spots/melasma have not faded in any way. The skin around my eyes and temples has definitely toned up and the couple of deeper lines I had there, have plumped out considerably, I can notice this greatly when I smile…..it’s probably a mix of both the eye cream and night cream from the same product range. I also had one deeper wrinkle on my left-hand side of my forehead that ran vertically. This wrinkle has also plumped out considerably, and I only used the night cream on this area. My marionette lines have no changes…. Sadly. All in all, I am happy with the night cream so far and if the subtle changes keep happening over the next few months, as I use the remainder of the jar, I’ll be extremely happy!

It feels very nourishing when first applied. Absorbs really well and makes your skin feel instantly plumper when first applied. It has a lovely but not overpowering scent. In the morning my skin felt moisturised and firm. I don’t have a lot of lines and can’t attest to line reduction but it is definitely a night cream that will assist your skin maintain hydration and elasticity. Nice present for mums.

The name Age Perfect, won me. Love the colours of the packaging. The cream is a nice texture and a little goes a long way. It goes smoothly over the skin, without leaving any greasy feeling or appearance. I put it on a little while before bed, so it had time to begin before putting my head on the pillow. In the morning my skin did have somewhat of a nice smooth glow to it. I would have loved to have used the day cream at the same time, to get the full effects of what the line promises. I am of the mature age, so this cream suits me perfectly. I will go and buy the day cream and use them as a team. Looking forward to seeing more positive results over time.

Initially when I commenced using it, I had to reduce the amount I used as I found you don't need a lot of cream due to it's density. I noticed my skin felt very soft each morning and as the weeks went by, my fine lines and the surface of my skin has visibly improved. The price for this wonderful night cream is very affordable and I will definitely be purchasing it as part of my beauty regime. I would recommend this product to 60+ women. Overall a night cream that does what is says.

It was beautiful and thick but went a long way. It hydrated my skin well and I didn't feel like I had to reapply after 10 minutes. In the morning my skin felt soft and still felt hydrated. Over a period of weeks I didn't really notice a great deal of difference and there was no anti sagging benefits for me unfortunately. This cream is beautiful to use and is a great price.

It seems to be absorbed quickly and doesn’t leave any greasy feeling. As far as moisturisers go it does a good job but I’m not sure about the claim that it re -density’s ? Maybe after prolonged use it may do as stated but I didn’t see any difference between this and my usual moisturiser. Overall it is a good value for money product that i would buy again simply for the pleasant fragrance and that its quickly absorbed into your skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a big fan of L’Oreal Age Perfect Rosy Redefining Day Cream and their Eye Cream which I use daily, so I was excited to receive this Night Cream. It smells nice. I was surprised at how thick the consistency is and realised that just a small amount goes a long way on my skin as it warms up. Less is more! I have now been using it for a few weeks, putting it on about an hour before bedtime, giving it the opportunity to absorb into my skin, and this works for me. My skin feels and looks great the next morning. Although this cream is recommended for mature skin I think this it would be ideal for anyone who has a dry skin which need hydrating. Great value for money!

This night cream comes in a square gold glass jar with an easy to open gold lid, 50ml in size. I have reviewed L’Oréal creams before and have found the scent overpowering so it was a fantastic surprise to open this night cream and find it to be a very mild, nice fragrance. The cream itself is white and a nice perfect thick texture for a night cream which I really like. I still used my normal serums before applying this and had no problems combining it with these. I didn’t need to use a lot and it was easy to apply, absorbed well and felt really good on both my face and my neck. I have now been using it for about 2 and a half weeks and it is most definitely hydrating my dry skin however I have not noticed a big change in my skin to look at but I will continue to keep using it to see if this changes. I have given this a 4 star rating for the hydration which I am liking.

The fragrance was light and pleasant. After three weeks of use I have noticed a slight improvement in the area under my eyes which looks firmer and not quite so puffy. Texture of my skin now feels a little smoother but I'm not sure I can see a reduction in fine lines.

Being a lady in my early 50’s, I normally have dry dull skin and after using this product I have definitely seen an improvement. There is a slight perfume nothing overpowering. You don’t need to use a lot and I really love how my skin feels in the morning, looks and feels hydrated which has been what I’ve been looking for in a moisturiser for a long time. I was a bit sceptical at first, but after using this product for a few weeks now every night, my skin looks healthier, it looks smoother, I even found my pores were smaller and my cheeks did have a slight glow about them. I’m definitely going to be using this product every night as part of my beauty routine. I think the price is pretty reasonable as well. It has a very slight scent of vanilla, which is almost nonexistent. The cream comes in a solid glass jar and is 50ml product. It feels great on my skin and I enjoyed using it nightly. The best part about this cream is that since it's so thick, only a little bit is needed. If I used too much, it can make my skin become clammy, so less is more. This is great because it makes the cream very economical to use. I didn't see any wrinkles disappear but my neck, face and décolletage looked fresh and supple and soft. I would recommend it for anyone who wants a rich, balm like cream for overnight hydration.
