General Information

Breast Milk Storage bags that are sterilised for hygiene and printed with a measuring guide and space for noting date of filling. And of course BPA free.

Swisspers Breast Milk storage bags are the hygienic and convenient way to store and use breast milk, and are sterilised for hygiene. Key features are individual tear-away seals for extra hygiene, a measuring guide printed on the bag and an area for noting the date of filling. Designed for filling with breast milk for immediate storage in the refrigerator or freezer.

The REDcycle scheme is no longer operational. Unfortunately, this means that there is no collection of soft plastics available for customers at the present time. Industry is working hard to identify pathways to create new scheme(s). In the meantime, customers are advised to dispose of their soft plastics in the landfill bin. Thank you for your understanding.

Warnings

Dispose of empty bag. DO NOT REUSE. Bags are sterile until opened.

NEVER REUSE BREAST MILK BAGS as bags will no longer be sterile and therefore potentially harmful for baby. 

Practice good hygiene: unwashed hands and unsterilised equipment can be very harmful to baby. Once defrosted breast milk should be used immediately and never stored at room temperature.

Ingredients

Directions

1. Prepare area by sterilising all bottles, tools and surfaces, and thoroughly wash hands.
2. Before filling write date in the space provided.
3. To open bag remove the perforated tab and open dual closure.
4. Pour breast milk into bag and reseal for storage.
5. Place in fridge or freezer.
5. To defrost place bag in the fridge to hygienically thaw. Bag can also gently warmed in warm (not hot) water, being sure to remove bag from warm water as soon as it reaches the appropriate temperature.
6. Pour milk into feeding bottle, gently warm if required.
Dispose of empty bag. DO NOT REUSE.
Bags are sterile until opened.

I’ve just started to work through my freezer stash and most days one of the bag I’m defrosting splits in the bottom corner and I lose the majority of the content. Poor quality, please avoid buying to save yourself the heartbreak of loosing your milk, especially when you've stopped producing. It’s absolutely devastating.

I’m not going to risk losing milk in these after now reading others reviews also. Really poor quality will go back to the previous brand.

I used these for my whole exclusive pumping journey thinking they worked fine- now most of my bags are splitting and leaking when I defrost them. I’m literally having to bag them inside ziplock bags to defrost so we don’t lose any more milk.

The double seal might be a good idea but they are stuck so tight and the plastic is thin so trying to open them to pour milk in is a gamble - you never know whether you’ll rip the plastic and make them unusable. I’ll definitely be going back to previous brands

I have 2L worth of breastmilk stored in these bags and I've started thawing some to realise the bags have little splits ranging from 1mm to 1cm. Out of 20 bags there are 5 that appear intact. I worked so hard for this milk with very low supply. I have been pumping 20ml at a time so you can imaging how many sessions I have had to do to fill my little bags with 100ml in each.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Half of them leaks when you thaw the milk I bought this 6 months ago thinking it’s good value and bought several times, but now I know they’re cheap for a reason! When need to thaw the milk, 3 out of 6 bags Leaked all over the place!!!! Rubbish! Now I don’t know what to with all that breast milk in the freezer. What a waste of my time and money. Also shame on you Swisspers that my little girl missed out on natural breast milk and gonna move onto formula since my milk supply dropped.
